The homeroom teacher, realizing he might have misspoken, left the bus with a sheepish look and quickly made his exit.

Soon after, with all eyes on it, the bus began its journey to Jiangshui City, pulling away at a leisurely pace. Despite the sizeable send-off crowd, only about a hundred students from the entire school were eligible for the Martial Exam, which amounted to just two buses' worth of participants.

Considering the entire junior class at the school numbered just over thirteen hundred, this was quite an impressive turnout by historical standards.

"Hello, everyone. My name is Hai Yunxing, and I'll be introducing you to Qingyun Academy, our destination in two hours," announced a young man with glasses, standing up on the bus and addressing the students with confidence.

This young teacher, undoubtedly from Qingyun Academy, exuded a presence unlike any ordinary educator, commanding an almost tangible sense of authority.

"Qingyun Academy is one of Jiangshui City's premier War Spirit Academies and a middle-class institution closely monitored by the War Spirit Alliance. It boasts a rich history, and the school's resources and environment are second to none..."

He continued his detailed exposition, reminiscent of a dedicated tour guide passionately describing landmarks to a captive audience. However, Feng Yixiu and Shen Ruyu only managed to listen for a short while before dozing off mid-journey.

Two hours later, it was that same teacher's voice that roused many of the students who had nodded off along the way.

"Students, we've arrived at Qingyun Academy. Please disembark in an orderly fashion and don't wander off. Follow me to the cafeteria for a meal, and after a brief rest, we'll proceed with the battle spirit awakening ceremony."

The students filed off the bus, eager to retrieve their luggage, only to be informed that their belongings would be delivered directly to the dormitories.

Stepping off the bus, Feng Yixiu was immediately awestruck by the grandeur of the academy's entrance. The imposing gates, proudly bearing the inscription "Green Cloud Intermediate Academy," could easily be mistaken for the entrance to a prestigious university.

"Wow! This is Qingyun Academy! It's even more impressive than I imagined," Feng Yixiu exclaimed, his excitement barely contained.

Having spent most of his time in the small town of Ningping County, he seldom had the opportunity to venture out, making the experience all the more thrilling.

"Look at you, acting like you've never seen the world. It's downright embarrassing to be associated with you," Lee Kaiyuan remarked with a look of disdain.

"If you keep quiet, no one will mistake you for a mute," retorted Shen Ruyu, her expression darkening.

"As if I want to talk to that country bumpkin! Just don't go around saying we're from the same class—I don't want to be shamed by association!"

With that, Lee Kaiyuan strode off toward the cafeteria, leaving Feng Yixiu behind as if to distance himself from any perceived drop in social standing.

"Ah, homeroom teacher, I fear I may not meet your expectations..." Feng Yixiu sighed, resigned, then gestured for Shen Ruyu to join him as they headed into the cafeteria.

Guided by the teacher, they entered the cafeteria and enjoyed a lunch that was both delicious and nutritious, courtesy of Qingyun Academy.

Once everyone had finished their meal, they followed Teacher Hai to a place known as the "Awakening Hall."
