C5 Kill the Monkey Demon

"'Ding... you have awakened the bloodline latent ability, [Shadow Splitting Flash]! '"

Just as the monkey's large claw touched his head, the Electronic Sound came again. Lee Zhen had never felt this Electronic Sound to be so pleasant to the ear.

"Shadow Splitting Flash, elementary bloodline innate ability. Next level requires 100 Evolutionary Point. Finally, it can evolve into the Shadow Clone Technique!"

"Shadow Splitting Flash!" Lee Zhen felt a boiling sensation in his blood. His four legs suddenly moved, and two shadows flashed past.

"Boom!"

The monkey slapped the ground, causing the ground to tremble. However, the monkey was puzzled. The blood that he had expected to spill didn't appear. Its claws seemed to have passed through the air, and it didn't seem to be able to stop it at all.

"Die! How dare you provoke Master Cat!" Lee Zhen appeared behind the monkey in a flash, and with a wave of his two small claws, two waves of air blasted out.

"Squeak! Squeak!"

The monkey was in pain and was sent flying.

Lee Zhen didn't slow down, and with a flash of his shadow, he once again struck out with his two claws.

"Dong!"

It hit right between the monkey's eyebrows.

Monkey was sent flying like a cannonball. He fell to the ground, motionless.

"Hu!"

Lee Zhen let out a long breath. He had finally been killed. The scene just now was too dangerous. If not for the timely awakening of his bloodline, he was afraid that he would have died prematurely.

Lee Zhen saw the monkey lying on the ground, and his eyes burned with passion. It was the Demon Core! Who knew how many Evolutionary Points he would get after eating it?

Suddenly, Lee Zhen realized that something was wrong. There was no notification from the system.

The monkey was not dead!

The intelligence of a demon was not comparable to that of an ordinary wild beast. It was faking its death!

Lee Zhen suddenly realized that the system had such an effect. It could determine whether his enemy was really dead.

Carefully approaching, Lee Zhen pretended not to notice anything. When he was five meters away from the monkey, a split shadow flashed and came to the other side of the monkey. Then, he struck with his claw.

The monkey jumped up. Its face was full of ferociousness as it slapped towards Lee Zhen's fake shadow.

In the next moment, the claw mark on its back turned into a wave of air and sent it flying. Blood splashed everywhere.

"Ding! You have killed a tier 1 Monkey Demon. Evolutionary Point + 100."

Hearing the Electronic Sound, Lee Zhen heaved a sigh of relief. It was indeed a First Grade Demon, and the Evolutionary Point was given more than 100 points.

"Ding! The evolution condition of the brain nucleus has been met. Would you like to evolve?"

"Evolution!" Lee Zhen agreed without hesitation.

"Boom!"

As soon as the thought came to his mind, he suddenly felt a sharp pain in his head, as if it was going to be torn apart. Some kind of power surged into his mind, and the power of his soul surged like a tsunami.

Lee Zhen lay on the ground in pain. He held his head with both of his hands, and his entire body couldn't help but tremble. The intense pain almost made him faint.

Lee Zhen was rolling on the ground in pain. His tail whipped the ground, making a loud noise. His four claws kept hitting the ground, and waves of air rolled, cutting all the trees in the surroundings.

Lee Zhen tried his best to endure it. After an unknown period of time, the pain finally disappeared. Lee Zhen was lying on the ground. His whole body was wrapped in mud, as if he had just been pulled out.

"Ding! You have killed the mutated Yang tree, Evolutionary Point + 5."

The Electronic Sound had just transmitted over. It turned out that killing mutated plants could also give him the Evolutionary Point, but he was not in the mood to be happy at this moment.

It had been too painful just now.

That kind of pain had penetrated deep into his soul. If it continued to hurt for a while longer, he wouldn't even know if he could endure it or not.

"Let's go back!"

Lee Zhen dragged Monkey Demon out of the cave...

"Roar!"

What Lee Zhen didn't know was that the moment he killed Monkey Demon, deep in the forest, there was a 3 meter tall monkey with barbs all over his body. It was beating its chest and stamping its feet. It was roaring towards the sky!

Both of his eyes became scarlet red, and then he rushed towards the outer perimeter of the forest.
