C21 You Can Go to Hell after Saying That

Intelligence reports indicate that the Raccoon Clan is the most formidable adversary in the unification of the Cat-man Clan.

The Raccoon Clan boasts the greatest strength among the four tribes, with a population nearing a thousand and four hundred robust warriors—equivalent to the entire Spirit Cat Clan's population.

The Gray Cat and Black Cat Clans each have populations similar to the Spirit Cat Clan, roughly four hundred strong. In the event of war, these two tribes could muster a force of over four hundred as well.

Thus, should battle ensue, the Spirit Cat Clan would be facing an overwhelming force: two hundred against eight hundred—a fourfold disparity in numbers!

Yet Lin Mo remained unfazed, for Qingyou had ascended to the rank of a Rank Three Mage.

A Rank Three Mage, pitted against the physically slight and vulnerable warriors of the Cat-man Clan, could decimate four to five hundred foes single-handedly with sufficient magical power and a secure position.

In essence, Qingyou alone was as formidable as an entire army.

Additionally, they had the support of Lillian, a Rank Two Mage whose combat instincts made her an unstoppable force against Cat-man Warriors.

And if that wasn't enough, Lin Mo would be overseeing the conflict. Reluctant to provoke the deities revered by the Raccoon Clan, he would not stand idly by if the tide turned against them.

With the blessings of the great gods secured, Qingyou was brimming with excitement and promptly set about disseminating the battle plans.

Having witnessed the God of Flames bestow numerous miracles, the Spirit Cat Clan held unwavering faith in any divine edict.

If the gods decreed battle, victory was assured.

Disparities in numbers held no fear for the Spirit Cat Clan, shielded as they were by divine protection.

Knowing that the Grey Cat and Black Cat Tribes were not keen on corrupt collusion with the Raccoon Clan, Qingyou refrained from planning a covert assault.

The primary goal of uniting the Cat-man Clan was to swell the ranks of the faithful and extend their influence. While a surprise mage attack could be devastating, incinerating scores of Grey and Black Cat individuals would mean the loss of countless potential devotees—too great a cost for the cause.

Qingyou had already sent envoys to deliver a challenge to the Raccoon Clan, arranging for a decisive battle on the nearby plains. The winner would claim dominion over the entire Cat-man Clan. Upon receiving the challenge, the Raccoon Clan leader was ecstatic to the point of madness. The Spiritual Cat Clan had once been exiled for their indomitable spirit, and now, they were coming right to him—how could he not be thrilled?

The appointed day arrived swiftly, and both parties reached the designated location well in advance. The Raccoon Legion was an imposing sight, arrayed in three solid phalanxes. Two hundred Grey Cat and Black Cat warriors each took their positions on the flanks, while the core was held by four hundred stalwart Raccoon warriors.

Brandishing a scimitar, the Raccoon Clan leader stood at the forefront of his troops, his demeanor exuding confidence and the anticipation of victory.

Facing him were Qingyou and her two hundred Spirit Cat warriors. Despite their significant numerical disadvantage, the well-provided Spirit Cat clansmen were robust and spirited, their presence not yielding an inch to their adversaries.

"Hehe, Spirit Cat Clan's little girl, why don't you call for your mother? Your clan issued this challenge, yet your leader is too frightened to even show his face—how utterly ridiculous!" The Raccoon Clan leader jeered, stroking his beard with a sneer.

"Look at your pitiful numbers. We could drown your forces with a mere spit each. I'll give you one chance: surrender, become my concubine, and I'll grudgingly accept you, sparing your people from needless sacrifice." He continued to mock, eyeing Qingyou greedily as she remained silent.

"Are you finished?" Qingyou's cold laugh broke the silence as she asked in a low voice.

"I am," the Raccoon Clan leader retorted with a contemptuous snort.

"Well, if you're done, then it's time for you to die!" Qingyou declared, her right hand shooting up as a crimson glow burst forth from her palm.
