C8 Natural Talent Test Advanced Innate Talent

From past experiences, Principal Zhang Fenghe was aware of the existence of powerful external forces. Those of whom would send their disciples out into the world to gain real-world experience and gain knowledge of the world unknown to them. Based on his deductions and speculations, he believed that Ye Chen might belong to one of these powerful external factions.

Furthermore, he received a report from a teacher who witnessed the previous battle that Ye Chen had greatly increased the strength of his fists before landing a jab directly into Bai Jun's stomach. After analyzing the pieces of evidence he received, he came to the conclusion that Ye Chen must have used some sort of skill during his attack.

"Ye Chen, since you are unable to speak any further regarding the subject, how re-taking the Inherent Talent test?

"Of course."

Upon entering into Anyue Academy, all students had to take the compulsory talent test regardless of having done it or not beforehand. By doing so, the teachers will be able to have an easier time gauging their student's abilities and create a curriculum perfect for their growth.

After a moment's thinking, Ye Chen decided that there was no reason to hide his abilities and talent. Furthermore, if he stated that he possessed the talent of the Transcendent State, most of the teachers would definitely doubt his words. Thus, rather than do things the harder way, he decided to take the easy way out: by taking the Inherent Talent test.

"Alright, Teacher Lin." Principal Zhang Fenghe looked at Lin Gensheng, "Bring Ye Chen to the talent testing room immediately."

Without further ado, Lin Gensheng led Ye Chen out of the principal's office.

"Ye Chen, during the field training the day after tomorrow, you and Qianqian will have to show me some face by performing to your utmost abilites."

Lin Gensheng's face suddenly turned bitter. He turned to Ye Chen and said, "You know... Every year in the field training, Wang Qiang's class of talented students would never fail to achieve great results by taking first place in the event. However, with you and Qianqian in my class this year, we'll finally have the chance to take over the throne once and for all!"

"Got it, Teacher Lin," Ye Chen replied swiftly in an unenthusiastic manner as he did not want to talk too much with Lin Gensheng. "Teacher Lin, let's just go to the talent testing room."

Seeing Lin Gensheng and Ye Chen walking towards the talent testing room, the students in the square started to discuss among themselves and wondered what was going on.

"Is Senior Ye Chen going to be re-taking the Inherent Talent test?

"Since Senior Ye Chen sent Bai jun flying with a single punch, he definitely doesn't just have talent of the Weak Inherent State!"

"Then what are we waiting here for? Let's go take a look as well."

Most of the students in Anyue Academy possessed Secondary Inherent State Talent, with even fewer possessing Inferior Intermediate State Talent.

A few moments after the testing machines started scanning Ye Chen's body, a set of information appeared on the screen:

"Name: Ye Chen."

"Cultivation Talent: Transcendent."

"Level: Intermediate Reserve Martial Cultivator."

Transcendent State Talent?!

All the students gawked in awe upon seeing the information displayed on the screen. However, the title of an Intermediate Reserve Martial Cultivator seemed much less significant when compared to possessing Transcendent State Talent. Of the two great geniuses in Anyue Academy, Yang Feng and Liu Qianqian only possessed Advanced Inherent State Talents. Never before in the entire history of Anyue Academy has there been a record of a student possessing the talent of the Transcendent State.

Upon reading the set of information laid out on the machine, Lin Gensheng continuously rubbed his eyes in pure disbelief. No matter how many times he rubbed his eyes, however, the information on the screen did not and would not change. Even if Ye Chen would re-attempt the test, the final result would never be any different from before.

Following which, Lin Gensheng rushed out of the testing room like a madman to report the final results to the principal.

As soon as Ye Chen turned around, he realized that all the students in the talent test room were petrified as they were gawking from the shock of seeing his final test results. They asked for a miracle to happen, and they indeed received that miracle standing right before them.

"Principal!"

Lin Gensheng's cracking voice could be heard even from outside the principal's office.

"Gensheng," Zhang Fenghe said in a calm yet serious tone. "Are you telling us the truth right now?"
