We finish practice at about four, but I decide to stay longer and work some more on my shooting. I’ve been favouring my strong side, the way we all probably do, but I know I shouldn’t.

By the time I finish, even my coach’s left and the older guy, cleaning the ice yells at me from the top of the big machine he’s driving.
