C3 HER PERSONAL BODYGUARD

"THEY ALL LOOK NORMAL, don't they, Bob?" Emman, Lion Guerrero's head bodyguard said to Cougar while smiling.

Bobby is the name Cougar uses inside the Octagon. It has been a weekvsince he entered the territory of the Guerreros. General Gallego pulled some strings so that if Crimson Guerrero tracked his background, he would not see anything. The seventh son of Lion Guerrero is the head of Octagon's intelligence. He and General Gallego also strongly suspected that the man was involved in the hacking of the NBI system that contained confidential files last year. And that was one of the things he needed to know.

Cougar nodded weakly. That day was easy for all of them because August's transaction went well with the representative of a mafia organization that came from China. August Guerrero handles Octagon's extensive drug deals. Behind his respectable personality as the CEO of Guerrero Holdings Inc is hidden his true personality as one of the eight heirs of the Octagon.

"Not until they hold their guns, point it on your head and pull the trigger..." added Emman, deliberately hanging on what he was going to say.

Cougar didn't know if his hunch was correct that the man was giving him a warning. Well, he doesn't care about this as long as he does all Lion Guerrero's orders correctly, he will be safe even his mission.

"They are Guerreros anyway," Cougar said sparingly before his eyes landed on the behavior of Lion's only daughter.

Adrielle Guerrero.

Just like her brothers, the woman is also holding a bottle of beer. They were on the lanai with a view from where he and Emman were standing. With them was Lion's father who was sitting in the iron chair opposite his second son Dalton, the man behind the successful handling of small black market syndicates. According to the reports he read that was given to him by General Gallego, Dalton and his twin, Trigger, are in charge of the Black Market and he is also trusted by the old Guerrero when it comes to tactics and demonstration for the successful operation of the Octagon.

Cougar frowned slightly as his eyes focused on Adrielle. Apart from this, the record is blank. The report given to him said that the former agent who handled the case given to him by General Gallego today did not get any information about the woman. Apart from her going to Japan twelve years ago to study there and later becoming a runway model when she was discovered by a talent manager there, nothing else has been discovered about her. His record is clean which Cougar knows is impossible because he is the son of Lion Guerrero.

"Don't be too obvious, Bob, you might get hurt," Emman instructed Cougar. He lightly patted her on the shoulder before she left his side.

Cougar didn't move. He took a cigarette from a small box in his hand. He popped it into his mouth and lit it before turning his attention back to Adrielle's behavior only to stop when their eyes met. Cougar absent-mindedly took one after another from the cigarette stuck in his mouth causing him to sneeze.

"Bullshit!" he said before removing the cigarette from his mouth. He threw it on the floor before stomping on it to put out the fire at the end of it.

MEANWHILE...

"It's really nice to finally have you back here, El," Russet said to Adrielle who was standing next to him. He put his arm around his youngest brother and turned his attention to their father who was sitting quietly next to Dalton. "Right, Dad?" he is here.

Lion nodded to his son before raising the glass he was holding with only brandy. He doesn't drink beer, so whenever he has a drink like that, he drinks brandy.

"Yeah,, right..." Kimhan agreed quickly before motioning to Reaper who was standing next to the large stereo. The man immediately understood and a few moments later the old pop song that they knew was Adrielle's favorite began to float around.

"Alright...let's all dance, come on, guys," said Azure, raising the bottle of beer he was holding and began to shake slowly.

"C'mon on," Kimhan shouted to his brothers who just shook their heads. It looks like they're going to be sad about dancing again because of their psychotic brother.

Crimson started to step closer to Russet and Adrielle who were also starting to dance. Just like the other two, even Kimhan and Azure who enjoyed dancing started to get nervous while walking slowly.

"Let's go, Aug..." Adrielle called to their oldest brother who could do nothing but join in the dancing of the five.

Russet reached out for Adrielle's hand, which immediately spun around when the first one touched it. They both had wide smiles. Of his seven brothers, Russet is the closest to him.

Kimhan noticed that Dalton did not join them so he immediately frowned followed by rolling his eyes upwards.

"What?" Kimhan turned his attention to Dalton. "Aren't you going to join us?" It seemed like it was snoring at the brother.

Dalton did nothing but sighed before lazily standing up. Carrying his drink, the man started to walk closer to his dancing brothers.

"Alright!" Dalton's crop looks wrinkled. "Screw this..." It was a whisper before starting to grind the body that was still hard on the electric pole.

Lion watched his eight children with a smile. When he had them look for them one by one, his hope that they would get along was a blow to the moon. Apart from the fact that they did not grow up together, they are also used to a different environment. But they are still a Guerrero. Even though they often fight, they always get along in the end. And they all have each other's back—always. That makes him so happy.

Adrielle gulped down the rest of the beer bottle she was holding as she continued to snort slowly when she suddenly looked at the fountain where there was a large cement lion sitting in the middle while the eight small versions oflion He frowned for a moment when he noticed the man standing there. It was new in his eyes. Even though he has not been in the Philippines for more than a decade, he is already familiar with the faces of their father's staff. That's one of the things they should know, to know everyone around them, especially the bodyguards.

"Who is he?" He asked Russet with a frown. She stopped dancing without fear that the man would meet her sight. His behavior was so clear that he could see it clearly even though it was standing at a distance from where they were.

Russet looked at the part Adrielle was looking at before shrugging her shoulders. "Dad's new bodyguard," he replied indifferently to his brother.

"Oh?" Adrielle said before turning her attention to her father. "I want him to be my personal bodyguard, Dad," he said, stopping his brothers from dancing almost at the same time. It seemed as if their heads turned to him at the same time before giving him a doubtful look.

"Are you serious?" Dalton asked in disbelief.

"You what?!" Kimhan's raised eyebrows greeted him.

"Bodyguard?" August raised his eyebrows again at what Adrielle said. "You?" full of doubt attached to it.

"What do you mean?" Russet's question looked wrinkled.

Adrielle's eyes rolled up before snorting."What?" He whined at his brothers. "Am I not allowed to have one? Dad?" he added before looking at his father who was just shaking his head. He reached for the small UHF two-way walkie-talkie radio that was placed on a small table that was also made of steel like the chairs. He pressed the button on the side and for a moment he was talking to the new bodyguard.

"Come over here, Bob..." Lion said to the man who immediately walked towards the lanai where they were.

A few moments later, there was a man in front of them who looked serious and faced them.

"Good evening," he greeted, bowing slightly in respect.

Adrielle tilted her neck before extending her right hand to the man.

"Hi, I'm Adrielle," she introduced the man her father called Bob with both corners of her lips lifting. The seven Guerreros surrounding them raised their eyebrows almost at the same time. There is a look of amazement on their faces.

Did they saw it right? Their youngest brother smiling sweetly in front of this bodyguard?

Azure looked at Russet before whispering.

"This is fun..."

Lion smiled before looking at Cougar with a surprised look on his face.

"This is my youngest, Bob," said the Octagon's big boss to Cougar. "and from now on, you will be her personal bodyguard..."
