C1 Chapter 1 - Kick out!

"Daaaaad! I didn't push her downstairs! Believe me!" a thirteen year old little girl cried while kneeling down infront of her father but was shocked when she looked at her father's face.

His face was filled with anger, resentment and blame. Anger of what Liezel said about Hazel's misdeeds. Resentment because he couldn't protect his daughter, Liezel, from Hazel. Lastly, blame because they mistook another child as their own and it caused chaos to the Hunter Family.

Honestly, at first, he wanted to pamper her real daughter and gives everything to her because of their fault. But, who would blame him for loving his fake daughter so much that he couldn't take it longer whenever Liezel cried in the middle of the night because of fear of being abandoned.

"You just came back and this is now your attitude?!! So what if you're the real one?!! I didn't like you since the day you grew up in that slums!!" a pair of fierce eyes of a woman looked down on Hazel. She's the biological mother of Hazel but she hates to think that her own biological daughter grew up in a stinky slums for thirteen years. When she came back, her actions caused the Hunter Family to turn upside down.

She still couldn't accept the fact that she mistook someone's child as her own and her own biological daughter grew up in the slums for ten years. Within two years, they only saw her bully Liezel and always throws the fact that Liezel is the fake daughter.

However, unbeknownst to them, everything is Liezel's schemes. She controlled everything from the beginning. Hazel knew it but she was afraid of seeing their hatred. Unfortunately, even though she didn't do anything, Liezel still designed everything to make it look like she's the mastermind. She couldn't accept it! She's still their real daughter! Isn't that enough to believe her but why?!

"I didn't do any misdeeds! I always behave since the day I come here!! I always do whatever the family told me what to do and even never publicized my real identity!! What did I do to this family to resent me so much? Aren't I the real daughter?! But why?!! Was it my choice to grow up in the slums!? Who were careless and mistook someone's child as their own? Is it me?!! Tell me! Dad! Mom! Why?!!" Hazel Tancongco shouted to them. Her eyes shone when she saw their guilt but disappointed after hearing Liezel's piercing cries. She already knows what will happen next.

"I'm sorry, Sister Hazel! It is my fault. Please don't be mad at Mom and Dad" she cried so much and fainted.

Mrs. Hunter panicked and went to her daughter. "If something happens to Liezel, I will never forgive you!" she madly shouted at Hazel and slap her. Her face filled with hatred like a tigres facing her enemy while protecting her cub.

Hazel was petrified. Even though they show their hates on her but they never hurt her and it is her only resolve why she stays in Hunter Family.

Silence...

However, Mrs. Hunter's slap shattered it mercilessly. Her eyes stared blankly on her biological mother and stopped crying. Then, she laughed loudly.

"Very good!"

"I never thought that this day will come!" still laughing madly and fixed her disheveled hair up. She looked down on Liezel who just wake up from her fake fainting and then, to her parents and siblings whom she dreamed so much to have.

"Liezel Hunter, Congratulations! Your wish to make me hate the Hunter Family so much succeeded! I declare from now onwards, I, Hazel Tancongco, sever ties with the Hunter Family for eternity and will no longer have connection to each other. Please turn around whenever you see me, the should-be real Young Miss of Hunter Family!"

Mr. and Mrs. Hunter were shocked of Hazel's declaration to sever ties to them.

"Very well, Hazel Tancongco. As the Head of Hunter Family, I give you the old mansion of Hunter Family and those territory surrounding it as a compensation. This means the Hunter Family no longer has connection to you for eternity" Old Master Hunter concluded as he narrowed his eyes. His threatening voice made Hazel shiver but she never showed it explicitly.

Hazel looked up her own biological family blankly and chuckled.

Would she really expect them to stop her from severing ties with them? Haha! Laughable!

She stood up and turned around. Her eyes no longer have brilliance. Anyway, what's the point? She's now alone and will forever be. She sighed and mumbled, "I'm used to it"

When she reached the front door, the old butler looked at her with contempt and hatred but still says with respect, "This way please".

Hazel Tancongco no longer care to their contempts and hates. She felt her shoulder loosened up and took a heavy breath.

"Goodbye, Hunter Family" she already left with the Hunter Family car and drove towards the old mansion of Hunter Family.

The mansion is in the mountainous land. It may look like Old Master Hunter generously gave it to her as a compensation but, in fact, that mansion is her prison for a lifetime. They have no time of watching her. So, they must locked her up, just to make sure, until she's no longer the threat. As what they have believed.

Meanwhile, on the roads, many cars passedby. In this city, despite being in an advance technology era, many people still preferred to walk from their designated work places or schools to their homes.

Just like any other usual cities, many people are on the roadside. Some are waiting for someone. Some are high students with their friends and classmates. etc.

However, the clear sky suddenly darkens like a madman who was provoked by someone. The darkening of the sky is not the so-usual darkness when it still daytime like something blocked the sun.

Everyone looked up. Even those from inside their offices couldn't help but look outside their window. Silence surrounded the whole world.

After thirty minutes, people around the world were shocked when the sun shone brightly but like a tainted blood onto the clouds and the clouds are dyed red. The red clouds gathered together. Literally, gathered together around the world and filled the sky.

Only the silhouette of the sun that shone brightly can be seen behind the red cloud curtains. It means, the whole world are having the same DAYTIME around this time.

Then, gossip and murmur noises are everywhere. Some even took a picture with their phone and uploaded it on the internet. Even News Channels on TV reported this unusual occurence.

Even the science world is shaken to the core because of this unusual natural occurrence and there's no sign of disappearing.
