C1 CH: 1 Save My Sister!

In city hospital

"Did you tell the Alpha about this incident?" Ben asked his twin brother Ken.

"Yes, and he is on the way," Ken said seriously.

"Alpha is here…" One warrior alarms others.

"He is here…" Ken murmured as his eyes stopped on one tall man walking inside the hospital ward with a fire aura around him. Everyone can see how angry he is right now.

Taylor Alpha of the black moon pack. The most powerful Alpha in the east line. Age 28, long nose, sharp jawline, fair skin, light blue eyes hold the authority to make people's knees, his soft pink lips tighten in cold, black silky hair was wet by heavy rain, his tall, muscular body, and broad shoulders look attractive in a long black coat. Everyone knows his high-temperature nature. He didn't get angry often, but he destroyed everything that came his way when he got angry. He has an intelligent mind, too, so he used to reduce the pack. He is a fearless Alpha in the eastern area. But he has one weakness, and that is his sister Alissa.

He loves his younger sister Alissa the most. Because she is different from others, she is a human girl in his pack. However, she is not just a human girl, she has a secret power in her. Because of her hidden power, Taylor always wants to keep her safe. He wants to protect her from evil people who want to use her to control the world. Other hand, being human is one of the main reasons that Tyler keeps eyes on his sister.

Alissa is a sweet and caring girl. She has always cared for the people she met. Tyler is the only person in her life she listens to and does as he says without asking the reason.

And today Alpha Tyler gets news that his sweet sister had a car accident and she is in the operation room. When Taylor knew his sister was hurt, he ran to the human city to see her. He allows Alissa to live closest to the human town, so she stays safe there, hiding her relationship with Taylor. He put four shadow warriors around her for safety. No one knows that Taylor has a little sister except his pack members and his Beta Ken and Gamma Ben.

This hospital was specially made for the wolves. The doctors and nurses are wolves. All pack members are for treatments. Alpha agrees with these hospital laws. Many people know Alpha Taylor. Now that he is here for a human girl, everyone begins to doubt their relationship.

"Shadow wolves!!" Taylor growled at four guys trembling in fear.

"Alpha…" Both have four knees in front of them with fear.

"What did I tell you before I put you around my sister?" Taylor looked down in a fury. His blue eyes flamed with fire.

"Have mercy, Alpha. We do our best to protect Miss Alissa." One of them said it was a bit scary.

"What happened? Why is my Sister in the hospital?" Taylor growls in anger.

"It was a regular day, Alpha. She was returning from work when her car was crushed by a truck. Unfortunately, that truck came out on the opposite side. We catch the driver, but he claims his truck's brake failed and that is why he lost control." One of them said, holding breath.

"Alpha, that driver is human. And we are examining him." Gamma Ben told him the details.

"Alpha, it is not the shadow warriors' fault. We need to think about Alissa first." Beta Ken said in a worried tone.

"If anything happens to my sister, say goodbye to your family," Taylor growled at them and walked forward to the doctor's room.

Ken and Ben follow him. As soon as doctors saw Taylor walk inside, they began to tremble in fear.

"Why are you both here except doctors doing in here except the operation theatre? Did you want my sister dead?" Taylor bands his punch on the table furiously. The table had a deep break scare.

"Alpha Taylor, we had serious difficulty with patience. The glass on the car window stabbed in her heart when the car got into an accident. If we remove that glass, her heart can't save her life for more than two hours." One of them said in a serious tone.

"Are you saying that you can't save my sister?" As soon as Taylor heard that, his mind went blank. His wolf was surface as his eyes showed back to blue.

"Alpha, we need to make the heart transplant on the patient. And we get a matching heart too." Another one said.

"Then what are you waiting for? Go and do your duty. SAVE MY SISTER!" Taylor pointed to the door as he growled at them.

"We are waiting for the heart to come. The patient was on a ventilator. Our difficulty is that the heart was a she-wolf. We saw ten humans able to live with wolf hearts. A wolf's heart is attached to its inner wolf and soul. If the heart did want to support the human body, then patients couldn't survive. And we don't have time to wait for the human heart. Your sister is human, but still, she holds herself much more than we thought. The human didn't live long in this wound. Now it's up to you, Alpha. You decide about surgery." One doctor said,

"If a she-wolf’s heart supports her, can she survive?" Taylor asked in a hopeful tone.

"If the heart supports her body, then yes. We can't tell now. We need to keep her under observation to see how she works with new hearts." Doctor said,

"Fine. Do it then." Alpha Taylor said seriously.

"Ok, let's go." The doctor got up and walked out of the room with another doctor.

The door opened, and one doctor came back to them with a box. Soon the doctor went into the operating theatre.

Taylor keeps walking around the corridor. His face was full of worries. Alissa was his only related person. So he treasures her. And now his little sister is on the death path.

"Alpha… Don't worry; everything will be good. Alissa is a fighter, and she lives longer." Ken pats Taylor's shoulder.

"I hope so. I can't think of losing her. I promise my mother that I’ll keep her safe." Taylor murmured.

The operation door opens, and doctors come out. Taylor runs to them.

"How is it, doctor? My sister…" Taylor asked desperately.

"She got saved. We completed the operation." One of them said,

"Oh… Thank goddess… Thank you, doctor." Taylor said with a happy face.

"But Alpha, we need to keep her under observation. I hope you don't mind this. We need to check how her new heart is doing in her body." Doctor said,

"Of course, Doctor. Take any time you want. I want my sister to be safe and healthy." Taylor nodded his head in understanding.

Taylor walks into the VIP room to see his sister. His face was relieved when he saw his sister generally breathing as he wished.

"I'll keep you safe, Alissa. It's my promise." Taylor whispers in a low tone.

After getting the best treatments in the past six months, Taylor brought Alissa to the packed house. He put Alissa’s suitcase in her room. Taylor strictly told the main maid to keep her food and medicine checked. He attended extra seventh around Alissa. Taylor himself keeps his eyes on Alissa. He didn't allow her to go out of the house. Alissa feels something odd in Taylor's behaviour. She didn't know why Taylor kept her under observation.

Alissa didn't want to disrespect her brother, so she did as told. Ken and Ben have always been there for her. Maya was her best friend and also accompanied her from time to time. But she is a pack warrior. She needs to do her duty as well. So Alissa sometimes feels bored and unhappy about staying alone. She wants to go back to her human city and live her human life. She didn't want Taylor to do his duty as Alpha expected to keep his eyes on her.

Today, she heard something that shocked her. She walked to Taylor.

'I have to ask him.' As she thought, she walked to her brother’s office. The door opened, and Ken smiled at her gently. He always smiles at her, only her. He is second in command and always stays calm and collected.

Beta Ken is Taylor's best friend and supporter. Age 28, long face, big kissable lips, Brown short hair always set by gels, amber eyes clam-like water, prominent eyebrows, dark brown skin, small nose, sharp jawline, tall like Taylor, his muscular body can't hide by his grey shirt. The fighting scar on his neck is slightly visible. But, everyone likes his calm and supportive nature. He is ready to do anything for his alpha and his sister Alissa.

Ben has a different style. He and Ken are identical twins. Ken is calm and cold. He likes to work hard and become stronger Gamma.

"Good morning, Alissa," Ken said with a smile.

"Good morning, Ken. Is brother Tay inside?" She asked in a hurry.

"Yes, Alpha is inside. What happened? You look angry." Ken asked, looking at her face.

"I'm not angry, just frustrated," Alissa said and walked past him.

Taylor already smelled and heard Alissa was coming inside. So he put on his most gentle smile on his face.

"Alissa, what brought you here? Did you need anything? " Taylor asked with a smile.

"Brother Tay, I want to ask you something important. Can you give me an honest answer?" She looked at him hopefully.

Hearing Alissa’s serious tone, Taylor got tense. He got up from his chair and held Alissa by hand.

"Come here. First, sit comfortably and ask me anything you want." Taylor helps her sit on the sofa, and he sits beside her.

"Promise me, you didn't lie or change the subject," Alissa said worriedly.

"I promise. Tell me what happened?" Taylor gives her his best smile.

Ken kept standing close to the door. He is just curious about Alissa's behaviour. Alissa takes a deep breath and looks at both of them.

"Do I have a wolf's heart?" Alissa asked in one breath.

Taylor and Ken shared the same looks. Both get alerts all of a sudden. Taylor hid from Alissa that she had a werewolf heart. He didn't want her to worry about her health.

"Who told you?" Taylor asked carefully. He warns all packs not to say a word about Alissa's heart surgery.

"It didn't matter who told me, Brother Tay. Tell me, is it true? Did the doctor plant a wolf's heart in my body in that heart surgery?" Alissa asked hopefully.

"Alissa, why do you need to know? I mean, it’s not hurting anywhere, right? did you feel uncomfortable?” Tayler tries to change the subject.

"I’m feeling good. But don’t try to change the subject. It is my right to know who this heart belongs to? I want to know if I have a wolf's heart. Brother Tay, you promised to tell me everything I asked." Alyssa said seriously.

"Yes, I keep my promise.” Tyler nodded his head as he made up his mind to tell Alissa everything.

“Then tell me, it’s that true? I have a wolf’s heart?” Alissa asked nervously.

“Yes. Alissa, you got into a big accident back there. You need a new heart because the glass on the window was a piece of your heart. So when we got heart, I told the doctor to save you. It didn't matter if it was a human heart or a wolf. They both are the same." Taylor told her everything.

"So it is a wolf's heart?" Alissa once again pointed at her heart place.

Taylor looked at Ken and just nodded.

"Yes, it is a wolf's heart." Taylor accepts that.

Alissa put her hand on her chest as she sighed. Seeing that, Taylor got worried.

"Alissa, are you okay? Does it hurt in your heart? Ken called the pack doctor…" Taylor began to panic.

"No, brother Tay, I'm fine," Alissa said hurriedly.

"Are you sure?" Taylor looked at her with worried eyes.

"Yes. I'm perfectly fine." Alissa showed her usual smile

"Okay. Now that you know reality, did you hate me?" Taylor asked with a guilty face.

"What? No, brother Tay. I'll never hate you. And I never hate wolves' hearts. You did all things to save me. If I were in your place, I would do the same things." Alissa said, patting his hand.

"So, do you want to ask anything else?" Taylor asked as he sighed in relief.

"Can you tell me who that person is?" Alissa asked.

"Why do you want to know about her?” Tyler didn't feel good about Alissa meeting the graveyard. Her heart is still weak, too many emotions Alissa can't handle, the doctor warns him to keep Alissa away from the sad emotions. If Alissa goes to the graveyard and feels sad for the woman, save her life.

“I just want to know. it’s because of her I’m breathing. Seeing a beautiful life. I want to thank her.” Alissa said with a soft smile.

Tyler agreed with Alissa and he was thankful to that person for saving his dear sister. Other hand he knew if he rejected her wish to go out, she would still try to sneak out and that was risky. His mind ran some solutions.

“She was a wolf from another pack. I don't know the full details, because the doctor didn't tell me about her. But the doctor just showed me her heart donation form. She had a rogue attack and was just fighting when she heard about your accident. So she gives her heart to you because she knows she can't survive." Taylor didn't hide anything from her.

"Oh, poor woman. I pray to the goddess that she rests in heaven. Did you know about her family?" Alissa asked sadly.

"No, not even the doctor knows about her family. They told me she was alone when she came into the hospital. She was badly wounded." Taylor said helplessly.

"Oh, But I want to say thanks to her family. She is such a great soul. Did you know where her grave was? I want to visit her." Alissa asked.

" No one comes to claim her body after she dies. So Alpha buried her in our graveyards with all respects." Ken told her.

"Can I see her?" Alissa asked Taylor.

Taylor thought a little bit, then nodded in approval.

"OK, Ken and Ben will be taking you there tomorrow. I don't want you to go alone. Once you meet her, come straight home." Taylor said in a severe tone.

"Okay. Can I take Maya with me?" Alissa smiles brightly.

“Sure.” Taylor agrees with her.

“Now go and rest,” Ken said.

Alissa nodded in understanding and walked out of the office.
