C184 The Strongest Technique!(1)

"The best is yet to come!"

Seeing Quan Feichen's greedy gaze fixed on his No Life Sword, Woo Zhengyang shook his head internally. With such an unstable mindset, Feichen's martial spirit couldn't be very strong.

As Woo Zhengyang executed the seventh step of the Dragon Countering Nine Steps, he suddenly accelerated toward Quan Feichen.

"Are you rushing to your death?" Quan Feichen sneered, slashing his sword several times, clearly underestimating Woo Zhengyang.

Unlike the true energy shaping of an expert at the Shape Gathering Stage, the sword energy at the Martial Master Stage, which Woo Zhengyang could unleash, had to be based on a physical sword. While it could extend the sword's attack range, it couldn't separate from the sword itself.

This meant that at close range, the sword energy's power was stronger, but not as strong as the sword blade enveloped by the energy.

To Quan Feichen, Woo Zhengyang's speed was impressive. If he kept his distance, he might last a few rounds. Charging in like this seemed like a reckless move.

"Is that so?" Woo Zhengyang replied, quickening his pace even more, ignoring the sword energy right in front of him.

"Shhh..."

Several sword energies sliced through, instantly tearing Woo Zhengyang's clothes.

What surprised Quan Feichen was that Woo Zhengyang's body didn't end up covered in blood. Instead, there were only a few scratches.

"You're a Body Tempering cultivator!"

Quan Feichen finally showed some surprise. He hadn't noticed any fluctuations in Woo Zhengyang's energy and assumed his techniques were just peculiar. Little did he know, Woo Zhengyang was actually a Body Tempering cultivator.

It's a given that the Martial Master Stage is more powerful than the Martial Disciple Stage. The main advantage that allows a Martial Master to dominate a Martial Disciple is the extended attack range provided by their sword aura. However, the sword aura's power doesn't match the actual sword, which significantly reduces its suppressive effect on a Body Tempering cultivator.

Woo Zhengyang responded to Quan Feichen with action! As he stepped into the eighth move of the "Dragon Countering Nine Steps," his left hand shot out, reaching for Quan Feichen's No Life Sword.

With sword aura as protection, Quan Feichen's No Life Sword was as formidable as a mid-grade treasure. Yet, even a high-grade treasure posed no threat to Woo Zhengyang, who wore the Profound Heavy Gathering Silk Gloves.

"Ding..."

Quan Feichen's sword was caught by Woo Zhengyang. No matter how much he tried to pull it away, Woo Zhengyang held it firmly, using the momentum to close the distance even faster.

"Impossible!" Quan Feichen was shocked.

Even a Body Tempering cultivator shouldn't be able to grab a sword enhanced with aura barehanded without getting hurt!

It was only at this moment that Quan Feichen realized he had underestimated his opponent. Although Woo Zhengyang was a Martial Disciple, he possessed strength comparable to an entry-level Martial Master.

The energy within him surged, and Quan Feichen no longer held back his strength. However, with his sword being grabbed and the rules preventing him from advancing, his attack options were limited. He could only aim a kick at Woo Zhengyang's abdomen.

Seeing the kick coming, Woo Zhengyang felt a surge of excitement. He executed the ninth step of the "Dragon Countering Nine Steps," channeling all his accumulated strength into this one move, meeting Quan Feichen's kick head-on.

"Boom..."

After a loud crash, both of their kicks were forced back, and a look of shock appeared on Quan Feichen's face. He had put his utmost energy into that kick, which was nearly as powerful as his sword skills. Yet Woo Zhengyang's kick, seemingly without any energy enhancement, matched his own. Even though Woo Zhengyang was just a Martial Disciple and he was a Martial Master, the outcome should have been different. By all logic, Woo Zhengyang's kick should have been repelled, allowing Quan Feichen to press his advantage and reclaim his sword.

Instead, the result was evenly matched, or perhaps he was even slightly at a disadvantage. Earlier, when they both held the sword, he had nearly lost his grip on the hilt while Woo Zhengyang held the blade. The thought of the consequences of losing the No Life Sword sent a cold sweat down Quan Feichen's back.

As Quan Feichen stood in disbelief, he suddenly felt his sword being tugged by Woo Zhengyang. Already a bit unsteady from being pushed back, Quan was pulled toward Woo without much resistance. Just as he was contemplating how to reclaim his sword, he was surprised to see Woo let go.

In the past, Quan would have thought Woo was making a foolish mistake. But now, after repeatedly underestimating Woo, Quan found himself in a precarious position, doubting his own judgment. Woo's strategy remained a mystery to him.

Instead of wielding the sword, which was as powerful as a mystical weapon, Woo opted to throw a punch at him. Though the sword was released, there was no time to gather strength. Quan also threw his left fist with all his might. The memory of Woo's previous kick still haunted him, and he dared not be careless.

"Thud..."

The two fists collided, sending a powerful, tearing sensation through Quan's arm. In that moment, it felt as if the bones in his arm had turned to dust.
