C204 A Man Who Fell from the Sky!(1)

Woo Zhengyang was speaking the truth. He rarely used gold or silver, but before leaving his homeland, he exchanged a significant amount of contribution points for currency at the Profound Heaven Sect. Most of it was handed over to Uncle Fu for daily expenses, leaving just one thousand-dollar bill in his Hidden Heaven Bag for emergencies.

Hearing this, Liu Yunyun became even more convinced of her suspicions, a hint of disdain flashing in her eyes. Just as she was about to say something, she noticed that Woo Zhengyang had already walked past her without a glance.

"Stop right there!" she shouted angrily, seeing that he hadn't even looked at her.

"What is it?" he asked.

"You just walk away like that? How am I supposed to face the world now?"

"What do you want, then?"

Her words reminded Woo Zhengyang of the public scene at the Heavenly Martial Square in Cloud Fluttering Country, where the Ma family had publicly humiliated him. Despite Liu Yunyun's arrogance, she was still a woman, and her reputation was at stake. Woo Zhengyang couldn't just leave her in such a situation.

"In three days, there will be a banquet at my family's house. Wait until it's over before you leave," she demanded.

After a moment's thought, Woo Zhengyang realized the Liu family likely wanted him to clear things up, so he nodded in agreement. "Alright."

After Liu Yunyun left, Woo Zhengyang returned to his training. Although the Flesh Condensing Technique was a body tempering method, it also helped speed up the recovery of his meridians.

As Woo Zhengyang activated his technique, his body heated up instantly. The broken veins felt like they were on fire, gradually clearing the blockages. Slowly, the severed veins began to reconnect and heal.

Two days later, Woo Zhengyang's twelve main meridians were fully restored. At this point, his strength had returned to the level of a one-star Martial Disciple.

A bold idea flashed in Woo Zhengyang's mind. The unique properties of his sword-shaped energy made it highly effective in clearing blockages in his meridians. What if he used it to remove the obstructions at the points where his veins were severed?

Without hesitation, Woo Zhengyang directed the sword-shaped energy to break through. After a few breaths, a hint of a smile appeared in his eyes as one blockage was cleared. Though the sensation of tearing flesh was painful, it was incredibly effective.

Unafraid of pain, Woo Zhengyang continued to push through with all his might. As more and more meridians were restored, the accumulated sword-shaped energy increased, speeding up his progress.

Three days flew by, and Woo Zhengyang opened his eyes. After enduring a day and night of grueling effort, he finally connected all his meridians, fully restoring his strength.

Tonight was the banquet at the Liu residence, where all the prominent families of the city were invited. That young man had already informed Woo Zhengyang to attend.

Dressed in clean and tidy clothes, Woo Zhengyang arrived at the brightly lit front hall of the Liu residence. The banquet was about to begin, with servants bustling around and several stewards attending to the guests. Woo Zhengyang's arrival drew attention, sparking whispers among the crowd, but no one approached him directly. Unbothered, he found a seat in a corner and closed his eyes to rest. Although his strength had returned, his body was still recovering from injuries, leaving him feeling somewhat weak.

"Hmph!" A cold snort sounded nearby, prompting Woo Zhengyang to open his eyes. Across from him stood a young man, glaring at him with hostility.

"And you are?" Woo Zhengyang asked.

"Han Shanyuan!" the young man replied.

Upon hearing the name, Woo Zhengyang understood the animosity. Han Shanyuan had given up a chance to enter a mysterious place, hoping to win over a certain beauty, only to have Woo Zhengyang's unexpected arrival ruin his plans.

"I'm sorry about what happened that day," Woo Zhengyang said. He wasn't familiar with the disputes between the Han and Liu families and had no desire to get involved. Still, he acknowledged that his presence had indeed caused trouble for Han Shanyuan.

Han Shanyuan had been ready to pick a fight, but Woo Zhengyang's apology caught him off guard, leaving him momentarily speechless.

"Still... you're quite lucky..." Woo Zhengyang suddenly remarked.

Giving up the chance to enter an ancient cave for a woman, Woo Zhengyang wasn't sure whether to call Han Shanyuan overly sentimental or deeply devoted. However, one thing was certain: Han Shanyuan had avoided a crisis. Of all the Martial Disciples who ventured into the No Life Patriarch's cave, only Woo Zhengyang emerged alive. Had Han Shanyuan entered, he would likely have ended up as a skeleton, possibly even at Woo Zhengyang's hand.

"Lucky? What do you mean?" Han Shanyuan asked, puzzled.

Sunset Canyon was far from Sky City, and news from there hadn't reached this place yet. Naturally, Han Shanyuan had no idea what Woo Zhengyang meant by "lucky."

Woo Zhengyang smiled but didn't elaborate.

Han Shanyuan had come looking for trouble, but after a few words and a direct apology from Woo Zhengyang, he found himself without a reason to pick a fight. Frustrated, he resorted to drinking alone, downing one glass after another.

After Han Shanyuan had had about ten drinks, a young man with a broad smile walked into the hall.
