C419 Azure Sun Martial Mansion

"Kid, I'm gonna skin you alive!"

The man in the silver outfit was fuming, a far cry from the graceful entrance he made earlier. Now, both his eyes were swollen black and blue, puffed up like big bells, with tears streaming down uncontrollably. He was furious and confused.

Just moments ago, he and the kid had thrown punches at the same time. With the force of his punch, which could easily crush with over 22,000 pounds of strength, if their fists collided, that kid, who was just starting out, should have had his arm turned to pulp, if not worse. But somehow, just as their fists were about to meet, his body inexplicably hesitated.

That brief pause caused his punch to miss, while the kid's fist landed squarely on one of his eyes. The second punch followed the same pattern. What infuriated him the most was that as he tried to retreat while throwing threats, the kid relentlessly swung another punch at him.

"Thud..."

The side of the man's face swelled up, just like his eyes.

"What the heck is going on?" he cried out in despair.

The same question lingered in the minds of everyone in Great Leaf Village. Woo Zhengyang, who always seemed a bit weaker than his peers, had left them all in shock.

However, this guy managed to turn a top-tier fighter into a black-eyed mess!

Everyone in Great Leaf Village knew the silver-clad man's strength. Even Sun Li, who was at the same peak level, could only defend against him. But now, Woo Zhengyang had him completely overpowered.

Did this mean Woo Zhengyang was stronger than Sun Li?

The thought left Liu Dahu and others, who once looked down on Woo Zhengyang, utterly stunned and incredulous.

Woo Zhengyang didn't bother to explain, nor did he stop his assault.

"Thud..."

With the fourth punch, the other side of the silver-clad man's face swelled up, making him look like a battered pig, complete with black eyes.

"Ugh... I'll... kill..."

The man tried to threaten, but his face was so swollen that his words were unintelligible.

Woo Zhengyang's fifth punch never landed. The Old Village Chief intervened, stopping Woo Zhengyang and having Liu Dahu and the others bring him back to the village.

Aside from the Old Village Chief and a few others who stayed behind, the rest of the villagers gathered around Woo Zhengyang.

"Zhengyang, you actually turned someone from the Azure Sun Martial Mansion into a punching bag! What on earth happened?"

"Come on, tell us! This is unbelievable!" Everyone chimed in eagerly.

Woo Zhengyang felt a headache coming on; he wasn't sure how to explain. In this world, while true energy couldn't be harnessed, the power of the soul remained unaffected, and Woo Zhengyang's martial spirit was still intact.

The first level of martial spirit is known as 'momentum.' At this level, practitioners can imbue their swords with sword force and their fists with punch force. Even a simple punch can carry a powerful momentum.

Whether it's sword force or punch force, these are merely manifestations. With a strong enough soul, one can influence the forces of nature without lifting a finger.

Woo Zhengyang was aware of the gap between himself and the man in silver, so he never intended to engage head-on. As they were about to clash, Woo Zhengyang fully harnessed the forces of nature, turning the surrounding energy into shackles that bound the man in silver.

These shackles weren't lethal and could be easily broken, but they caught the man off guard, disrupting his attack. In such close quarters, a split second can change everything.

Woo Zhengyang seized that moment, landing a solid punch on the man. Stunned by the unexpected hit, the man was left bewildered. Taking advantage of the situation, Woo Zhengyang landed several more punches, leaving the man looking like he'd been through the wringer.

It seemed like Woo Zhengyang had the upper hand, leaving the man defenseless. However, this situation couldn't last long. If the Old Village Chief hadn't shown up, the man would have eventually retaliated, and without using other tactics, Woo Zhengyang wouldn't have been able to hold his ground.

This was Woo Zhengyang's first encounter with a pure Body Tempering cultivator. The physical strength of these cultivators was unmatched by those at the Reality Condensing Stage, especially after mastering the Skin Stage technique. Their bodies became as tough as steel, with energy stored in their skin.

With Woo Zhengyang's strength, using the Tyrannical Mountain Shattering Fist, even a Reality Condensing Stage cultivator with a protective shield would suffer significant injuries. Yet, the man only ended up with a bruised face, which in martial arts duels, was hardly considered an injury.

In essence, without resorting to other methods, Woo Zhengyang couldn't truly harm the man, even if the man didn't fight back. Of course, his pride was certainly bruised. For someone so arrogant to be beaten up by a teenager would surely infuriate him once he realized it.

And indeed, shortly after Woo Zhengyang left, the man in the silver robe came to his senses. He realized that Woo Zhengyang had merely used a clever trick and wasn't actually that strong, which only added to his frustration.

The more he thought about it, the angrier he became. It was like being a skilled fighter defeated by an equal opponent—no big deal. But getting inexplicably beaten up by someone with little skill? That was humiliating.

So, the first thing the man in the silver robe did was head to Great Leaf Village to find Woo Zhengyang. He was convinced that if he hadn't underestimated him, taking down that kid would have been easy.

However, the Old Village Chief wasn't about to let that happen and effortlessly stopped him. The Chief was a master at the Inner Stage of martial arts, and no matter how arrogant the silver-robed man was, he couldn't take on the Chief. He didn't have the confidence to catch the Chief off guard like Woo Zhengyang did.

Unable to fight, he couldn't even argue. Woo Zhengyang had beaten him so badly that his speech was slurred, and even though the Old Village Chief understood him, he pretended not to.

In the end, the silver-robed man stormed off in a huff. If he stayed any longer, he wouldn't need to seek revenge on Woo Zhengyang; the Chief's feigned ignorance would have driven him mad.

Woo Zhengyang's departure was delayed by the appearance of this silver-robed man. But the news he brought gave Woo Zhengyang a new target.

In this world, there were no countries. Instead, regions were governed by forces known as Martial Mansions. Great Leaf Village was under the jurisdiction of the Azure Sun Martial Mansion, and the silver-robed man was one of their people!
