C43 A Loud Slap Rang out

The room was so bare, there wasn't much to tidy up. Before long, Woo Zhengyang and Uncle Fu headed toward the front gate of the Lau mansion.

“What? You think you can just leave after hitting someone?” a sneering voice called out. It was Lau Yijin, blocking their path with a few of his henchmen.

“I only slapped a lackey. Do you really think you can stop me? I’m leaving, and you wouldn’t dare try to hold me back.”

“Oh, I wouldn’t, huh? Tie up this little punk!” Lau Yijin commanded, waving his hand as his henchmen rushed forward.

These henchmen were just low-level fighters, not worth Zhengyang’s attention. As the first one charged, Zhengyang slapped him away effortlessly.

The henchman, looking fierce, tried to raise his hand to strike back, but Zhengyang’s slap landed first.

“Smack…”

With a sharp sound, the henchman was sent flying, his face quickly swelling up like a balloon. The others, seeing this, hesitated but still charged forward. Zhengyang didn’t hold back, slapping each one until they were all left with swollen faces.

In just a few breaths, all the henchmen were on the ground, clutching their faces and groaning in pain.

Woo Zhengyang wasn't satisfied yet. He took a few steps toward Lau Yijin and raised his hand again.

"Stop!" a voice called from behind.

Woo Zhengyang didn't intend to stop. Instead, he added more force and speed to his strike. Lau Yijin, full of fear, tried to back away but couldn't escape.

"Smack..."

With a sharper slap, Lau Yijin was sent flying, spinning a few times in the air before hitting the ground, blood foaming at his mouth as he passed out.

"Woo Zhengyang, you've got some nerve. Didn't you hear me tell you to stop?" The angry voice came again.

Turning around, Woo Zhengyang saw the source of the voice—a young man in a blue shirt, his face full of anger.

It was Sun Wuji, nineteen years old, a Five-star Martial Disciple.

Sun Wuji's mother was the current head of the family's sister, making him, like Woo Zhengyang, a cousin in the Lau mansion. However, their statuses were worlds apart.

Even though he hadn't joined a sect, Sun Wuji enjoyed the resources of the Lau mansion. The family bestowed spiritual fruits upon him, allowing him to awaken his Origin Genuine Qi before the age of sixteen. Sun Wuji was quite talented, advancing quickly in his training and gaining much favor.

Back in the day, Woo Zhengyang was often bullied by Sun Wuji. Lau Yijin dared to trouble Uncle Fu and Woo Zhengyang because Sun Wuji was backing him.

Regarding why Sun Wuji targets Woo Zhengyang, it's said to be connected to Woo's mother, Lau Feixu. Back in the day, Lau Feixu was the epitome of grace and success, overshadowing Sun Wuji's mother completely. Sun Wuji's father was also one of Lau Feixu's admirers, which made Sun Wuji's mother harbor a deep-seated dislike for Woo Zhengyang.

"Who do you think you are? Why should I stop just because you say so?" Woo Zhengyang looked directly into Sun Wuji's fiery eyes and chuckled.

Lau Yijin knew that Woo Zhengyang was no longer the weakling he once was, yet he still brought along a bunch of henchmen. After Woo easily knocked them to the ground, Sun Wuji conveniently showed up. The intention was clear: they wanted to catch Woo in a compromising situation, and it was undoubtedly Sun Wuji pulling the strings.

Given the circumstances, Woo Zhengyang decided to give them a chance and knocked Lau Yijin out cold, curious to see what Sun Wuji would do next.

"You..." Sun Wuji was at a loss for words, blocked by Woo Zhengyang's confidence.

In the past, he could bully Woo Zhengyang at will because of Woo's weakness. However, in reality, their social standing was equal, and he had no right to oppress Woo Zhengyang.

When Lau Yijin mentioned that Woo Zhengyang had become formidable, Sun Wuji was skeptical. How strong could someone who used to be so frail really become?

Sun Wuji was starting to believe it. This guy, who used to never dare look him in the eye, was now actually standing up to him. The most surprising part was that Woo Zhengyang's gaze, though seemingly calm, somehow made Sun Wuji feel uneasy.

"You've been out messing around for a year, picked up some half-baked skills, and now you think you're invincible and can do whatever you want?" Sun Wuji finally found his words, calming himself down. So what if this guy had gotten tougher? He was a Five-star Martial Disciple, and even if he couldn't win the argument, he could still beat him up.

"I'm not invincible, but you really can't stop me from doing what I want. I'm taking Uncle Fu with me now, and you can try to stop me!" Woo Zhengyang said, pulling Uncle Fu along as he continued forward.

"Then I'll stop you!" Sun Wuji shouted, furious, raising his hand to strike Woo Zhengyang.

As a Five-star Martial Disciple, Sun Wuji was a rank above Liu Yijin, but his actual combat strength was far superior. After all, he was the favored young master of the Lau family, with access to all the resources he needed, while Liu Yijin was just a steward.

So when he saw Woo Zhengyang knock Liu Yijin out with a single slap, Sun Wuji wasn't intimidated. He believed he could easily do the same. Sure, Woo Zhengyang might have had some experiences during his year away, but Sun Wuji was still much older and more experienced.

However, in the next moment, he was stunned. Woo Zhengyang struck with his palm, and suddenly, the single strike split into nine, leaving him dazzled.

Martial arts! And it was definitely a refined technique. Sun Wuji had also learned martial arts, but given his status, he had only mastered a movement technique and a combat sword skill. He hadn't even considered using his sword skill against Woo Zhengyang, never imagining that Woo Zhengyang would have a palm technique up his sleeve.

Sensing trouble, Sun Wuji quickly used his movement technique to retreat, while reaching for the sword at his waist. But in the next instant, Sun Wuji was in despair.

Woo Zhengyang, who had been at a distance, suddenly accelerated and was right in front of him in the blink of an eye. Not only did he have a palm technique, but his movement technique was far superior to Sun Wuji's.

“No...” Sun Wuji knew he was defeated and began to plead, but it was too late. Although Woo Zhengyang felt like he had been given a second chance at life, he hadn't forgotten the humiliation of the past. Whether for his own past weakness or for Uncle Fu, he couldn't show mercy to Sun Wuji.

“Slap... slap... slap... slap...”

The "Azure Cloud Embracing Moon Palm" was executed by Woo Zhengyang in a flurry of slaps. The nine palm shadows shifted between reality and illusion, sending Sun Wuji spinning in the air, repeatedly struck, like a top, with the sound echoing continuously...

After a few breaths, Sun Wuji, his face battered beyond recognition, finally hit the ground. By this time, Woo Zhengyang had already walked quite a distance with Uncle Fu.
