C444 Final Ranking(2)

Woo Zhengyang was puzzled by one more thing. The Thousand-village Martial Competition didn't have a fixed schedule; it happened every few years on average. During each event, the Azure Sun Martial Mansion would symbolically accept the top fifty participants as registered disciples. However, after a year, most of these disciples returned to their villages. So, where did the Mansion's permanent disciples come from?

Azure Sun City wasn't small, but it wasn't enormous either—comparable to a larger city in the world he once knew. The outer city, except for a martial practicing field, was mostly desolate ruins, clearly abandoned for years and devoid of life. The inner city could accommodate only a few tens of thousands of people. Was the esteemed Azure Sun Martial Mansion really sustained by such a small population? How could they ensure that the talents of these few were superior to those from the villages?

When Woo Zhengyang finally entered the inner city of the Azure Sun Martial Mansion, his questions were answered. He found himself in a world that was both unfamiliar and somewhat recognizable.

Unfamiliar, because Woo Zhengyang had never been to the inner city of Azure Sun before. Familiar, because after following a disciple of the Azure Sun Martial Mansion to the very center of the inner city, he saw something that seemed oddly recognizable.

The Heavenly Martial Realm!

Indeed, within the inner city of Azure Sun, there was a treasure similar to the Heavenly Martial Realm.

In Azure Sun City, this treasure was much smaller compared to the Heavenly Martial Realm. Previously, in the world of Heavenly Martial City, the outer city was enclosed by four mountain gates serving as walls, and just the inner city alone was as vast as the entire Azure Sun City. The Heavenly Martial Realm nearly filled the entire inner city. In other words, the size of the Heavenly Martial Realm was comparable to the whole of Azure Sun City.

However, the treasure in Azure Sun City, with its semicircular light curtain, only occupied the size of a plaza, making it a hundred times smaller than the Heavenly Martial Realm. This doesn't mean the treasure in Azure Sun City was inferior to the Heavenly Martial Realm; quite the opposite, the Heavenly Martial Realm couldn't compare to this treasure. Within the light curtain before him, Woo Zhengyang saw a space that was undoubtedly larger than the space within the Heavenly Martial Realm, yet the external light curtain was a hundred times smaller, highlighting a significant disparity.

Woo Zhengyang's understanding of this world had always been shaped by the various villages outside, especially Great Leaf Village. The people were simple and kind, but it couldn't hide the fact that this world of physical cultivation was far behind the previous world in many aspects. At this moment, Woo Zhengyang's perception was completely shattered.

The scene he witnessed through the light curtain was unforgettable. Towering buildings rose from the ground, some with a dozen floors, others reaching dozens, even over a hundred stories. This massive complex occupied just a corner of that world, yet Woo Zhengyang could tell that this corner could accommodate far more cultivators than an entire country in the previous world.

A lone practitioner glided effortlessly among the buildings, as if swimming through the air. From a distance, they resembled fish leaping gracefully in the sky.

“What kind of world is this?” Woo Zhengyang mused, feeling overwhelmed.

The architecture within this space defied Woo Zhengyang's imagination, both in height and design.

“Everything you see in the Azure Sun Martial Mansion must remain a secret. You cannot share it with anyone—not even your family or closest friends. If you do, the Mansion will relentlessly hunt you down, and your entire village will face its wrath,” the young man who had led Woo Zhengyang and the others inside warned them.

Woo Zhengyang snapped back to reality at the sound of the young man's voice. He glanced at the other youths, who were just as awestruck by the bizarre world within the space.

Given these strict rules, even those from the most prominent villages had no prior knowledge of the Azure Sun Martial Mansion. This was their first glimpse, and it was only the tip of the iceberg.

“Around this plaza are various gravity rooms,” the young man explained, pointing in a direction. “Based on your ranking, the top-ranked individual can use them for five hours each day, the top five for three hours, the top ten for two hours, and everyone else for one hour. This time cannot be accumulated and expires daily.”

Following the young man's direction, Woo Zhengyang noticed a series of small rooms surrounding the light curtain. Monks were constantly entering and exiting these rooms, which must be the gravity rooms the young man mentioned.

"There are no rules here, but a word of advice: until you've explored all the gravity rooms, keep your mouth shut. It's best not to say a word to avoid any trouble."

After a pause, the young man continued, "As for everything else, figure it out on your own. Any questions?"

"I have one..." a rather naive-looking boy raised his hand.

"Speak!"

"What are the gravity rooms for?"

"It's hard to explain what the gravity rooms are for. Since you don't like to explore on your own, I'll give you a taste of what gravity is!"

With that, the young man leaped into the air, his body like a massive hammer, crashing down on the naive boy!

"Boom..."

After the loud crash, the naive boy lay on the ground, covered in blood, with the young man's foot planted firmly on his head. The boy continued to cough up blood, even spitting out a few teeth...
