C460 Success!(1)

While Woo Zhengyang and Liu Dahu were talking, Rice had already dug out a Qi Blood Crystal and quickly devoured it. Rice's knack for finding these crystals thrilled Liu Dahu. Zhengyang understood his excitement; with Rice focused on locating the crystals and the two of them digging rapidly, even if they gave half to Rice, the remainder could still be traded for substantial time in the gravity room.

However, Zhengyang dismissed this idea. Qi Blood Crystals were hard to come by, and even on a good day, one might only find two or three. If they turned in too many, it could attract unwanted attention. More importantly, Zhengyang didn't need to trade crystals for gravity room time; he had already bypassed its restrictions, much to Liu Dahu's astonishment.

Rice's ability to consume the crystals was impressive but didn't directly benefit Liu Dahu. In contrast, Zhengyang's unique skill could yield significant advantages. Even if they had to be discreet to avoid drawing attention, sneaking in a few hours of training each day was far more effective than relying on luck while mining.

To play it safe, the three of them decided not to leave immediately. Instead, they continued mining with Rice, planning to turn in a few Qi Blood Crystals later that night to maintain appearances before heading out.

Next up was the hard labor for Woo Zhengyang and Liu Dahu. Rice pointed out the spots, and the two quickly dug, uncovering one Qi Blood Crystal after another, which promptly disappeared into Rice's mouth. As always, Rice's little belly seemed insatiable.

By the end of the day, Rice had devoured over thirty Qi Blood Crystals and still wasn't satisfied. Woo Zhengyang and Liu Dahu were starting to get a headache. Not only was digging for these crystals exhausting, but each one was tiny. At Rice's rate of consumption, their hard work would only fill her up about a third of the way, which was far more challenging than hunting a Demonic Beast. Just one beast was usually enough to satisfy her hunger.

But because Rice found these Qi Blood Crystals delicious, they had to go through all this trouble. It seemed like a bit of a waste of time. However, after Rice said something, the two of them were initially stunned, then suddenly full of energy.

Rice announced, "Zhengyang, Dahu, I've become a Middle Rank Martial Master!"

A Middle Rank Martial Master, which is the mid-phase of the Skin Stage. Rice reaching the Skin Stage at just five years old was already astonishing, but now advancing to the mid-phase was enough to make Woo Zhengyang and Liu Dahu's jaws drop.

They knew that consuming the Qi Blood Crystal would definitely benefit Rice. But the benefits were astonishing! In just one day, Rice, who had just entered the Skin Stage, advanced to the mid-level of that stage. Doesn't this mean that with a bit of diligence, it wouldn't be long before Rice reached the later stages, or even the peak? A five-year-old at the peak of martial mastery? They couldn't even begin to imagine it!

As evening approached, the young people from various villages began to leave, following the rules set by the young man. They entered at dawn and left at dusk. Woo Zhengyang guessed that no one guarded the place at night, and the Azure Sun Martial Mansion folks were worried about people wandering off, hence the rule.

Woo Zhengyang was most curious about the world inside the light curtain, but without an opportunity, he had to let it go for now. After mining three more Qi Blood Crystals, Woo Zhengyang and his companions exited the mine. At the Azure Sun Martial Mansion disciple's station, Liu Dahu exchanged the Qi Blood Crystals for three tokens. These tokens, identical to those held by Liu Dahu and others, allowed entry into the gravity room for an hour, but they disappeared upon entry.

The young man who led them there guided everyone to a Light Door, and passing through it, they returned to the plaza.

Gathered once more in front of the gravity room, most of the young folks were thrilled because they could enter the room again. Some even managed to dig up a couple of Qi Blood Crystals. However, a few were unlucky and ended the day empty-handed.

Woo Zhengyang handed his card to Rice to enter the gravity room while he experimented with Rice's card. Adjusting the imprint on the card wasn't too difficult. By channeling his energy, Woo Zhengyang easily modified the imprint.

Afterward, Woo Zhengyang entered the gravity room. An hour later, he received a notification but wasn't immediately ejected, confirming his success. To be cautious, Woo Zhengyang stepped out for a bit and noticed that even when others were ejected, they were all meditating and not paying attention. So, he went back in.

He exchanged a quick greeting with Liu Dahu outside, and they swapped cards. Woo Zhengyang repeated the process, allowing Rice and Liu Dahu's cards to be used indefinitely.
