C530 Five to One!
"How is this possible!" Sun Siyu exclaimed in shock.
Her "Dance of the Moonlit Beauty" might not have reached its highest level, but it was certainly formidable. Even a practitioner at the peak of the Inner Stage or the Tendon Bone Stage would be immobilized if struck by her four moonlit swords simultaneously, left at her mercy. Yet, this guy seemed completely unaffected.
At this moment, Sun Siyu finally understood the nature of the flames surrounding Woo Zhengyang. They weren't just an external display of martial arts; they were real flames. Only someone with an Innate Spirit Body could produce such flames from within. And to burn away the moonlit poison with fire, this Innate Spirit Body was truly extraordinary!
There was no time to ponder further as Woo Zhengyang raised his sword to strike again...
"Clang..."
Their swords clashed, and the immense recoil forced Sun Siyu back two steps. Woo Zhengyang, however, didn't retreat; instead, he pressed forward two more steps, swinging his sword once more.
Transformed into a fiery dragon, Woo Zhengyang's fury blazed like an inferno. His speed in closing the distance and striking was incredibly fast. In the blink of an eye, Sun Siyu was driven back several steps to the very edge of the platform.
"Woo Zhengyang, you better think this through!" Sun Siyu's tone remained cool, but her words betrayed a mix of submission and threat.
With the moonlit poison rendered ineffective, her combat strength was greatly diminished, leaving her no match for Woo Zhengyang.
"Have you thought it through?" Woo Zhengyang chuckled softly, swinging his sword once more.
"If I survive, I'll tear you apart..." Sun Siyu roared, getting knocked off the platform.
This time, everyone saw it clearly. As soon as Sun Siyu touched the ocean water, it dragged her in, and no matter how hard she struggled, she couldn't break free. In the blink of an eye, she vanished beneath the waves.
Not long after, Yuv Qingrong also left the platform. He wasn't knocked off by Woo Zhengyang; instead, as Woo approached, Yuv tried to escape with his sword. Ultimately, he exploded mid-air, becoming a mist of blood.
Now, the five factions on the platform were reduced to four: Woo Zhengyang himself, Yu Wenqing from the Heavenly Mirror Pavilion, Fong Zhiyuan and his three companions from the Azure Sun Martial Mansion, and Yann Xinjue with his four allies from the Sea Heart Martial Palace. The Moon Light Martial Mansion was no more.
Woo Zhengyang's status, once uncertain, soared, nearly matching Yu Wenqing's. Single-handedly defeating all five members of the Moon Light Martial Mansion proved Woo Zhengyang's formidable power.
Yet, Woo Zhengyang felt a bit helpless. He hadn't intended to reveal his Profound Heaven Fire Power so soon, but faced with the Moonlight Poison, he found no other solution. Since it was already exposed, there was no point in regret. It was a chance to showcase his strength, paving the way for his entry into the Heavenly Mirror Pavilion and avoiding unnecessary trouble.
Woo Zhengyang was confident that, apart from Yu Wenqing's unclear stance, no one else would dare treat him as a mere stepping stone. Indeed, his immense strength had left everyone in awe.
His mysterious sword skills showcased his prowess, and his understanding of sword force highlighted his exceptional talent. Now, with the rare gift of an Innate Spirit Body, all these remarkable traits were embodied in one person. Who would dare underestimate him?
In fact, many believed Woo Zhengyang's potential surpassed that of Yu Wenqing. Despite Yu Wenqing's youth and his advancement to the Tendon Bone Stage, attributed partly to his talent and partly to the training at the Heavenly Mirror Pavilion, if Woo Zhengyang were to join the Pavilion, his abilities would surely be nurtured to their fullest. Surpassing Yu Wenqing would not be a difficult feat.
After the battle, both Fong Zhiyuan and Yann Xinjue seemed eager to speak, but Woo Zhengyang deliberately avoided their gaze, leaving them unable to engage him. They could only watch as he returned to his corner, sat down cross-legged, and closed his eyes to meditate.
Woo Zhengyang had noticed the shift in everyone's demeanor and could guess their thoughts. However, he had no interest in exchanging pleasantries with them, nor could he easily accept their sudden change in attitude.
Woo Zhengyang didn't notice any change in Yu Wenqing's attitude, nor did he care much. Joining the Heavenly Mirror Pavilion was his immediate goal, but that didn't mean he would go around trying to please everyone. His recent actions were mainly a response to the pressure from the Moon Light Martial Mansion, not an attempt to impress Yu Wenqing.
Joining the Heavenly Mirror Pavilion could naturally benefit from Yu Wenqing's help, but without him, there were still Situ Jingxiang and others. If it came to it, Woo Zhengyang was ready to step up himself. In his quest to find a way back, he didn't mind taking a few more risks.
With the Moon Light Martial Mansion out of the picture, the four factions stood around the platform, creating an even more mysterious and unpredictable atmosphere. Most importantly, people still couldn't see any clear direction.
The recent battle had shown that aside from the platform, there was nowhere else to stay, let alone cross the sea. Without the ability to fly or swim, what could they do? Just wait here indefinitely?
...
The Misty Mountain Range had returned to its most dangerous state. The pervasive mist looked like a massive white cloud nestled among the mountains, lingering for a long time. Every so often, someone would soar out of the cloud. Most of these were young villagers who had come with the three Martial Mansions. Exhausted of their energy, they were ejected by the Misty Mountain Range.
Occasionally, some young people wearing the emblem of the Martial Mansion were ejected, but they didn't fall to the ground. Instead, they were caught mid-air by their fellow Martial Mansion members. However, not long after, these youths were thrown out again. They were exhausted, having wandered the Misty Mountain Range for half a day without finding the Bewilderment Dragon Stream. Most of their time was spent searching, leaving them more worn out than some of the village kids.
Time passed slowly, and it had been a while since anyone emerged from the Misty Mountain Range. Those who remained were either lost to the mountains or had entered the Bewilderment Dragon Stream. Two days later, two figures were ejected simultaneously. One of them had some bloodstains, clearly injured. Strangely, both wore the insignia of the Moon Light Martial Mansion. Despite the surprise, the members of the Moon Light Martial Mansion quickly reacted, catching the two in mid-air. The injured one was taken for treatment, while the uninjured one was brought before the head of the Moon Light Martial Mansion for questioning.
“What happened to you? Why did you come out so quickly?” asked the head. The young man responded with a name: “Woo Zhengyang!”
