C537 There Is No Need to Fight Anymore All of Them Are Mine

Whether it was a simple hut or a grand palace, no matter how enticing the things inside seemed, everyone exchanged uncertain glances, hesitant to make the first move. They had been outsmarted by this world too many times to act rashly now.

Among them, the young man from Azure Sun Martial Mansion was undoubtedly the most anxious. His combat skills were the weakest, and Fong Zhiyuan had no intention of looking out for him, fearing he'd be forced to take the lead. He knew he didn't have the confidence that Woo Zhengyang had before, and if he were pushed forward, he'd have to accept it.

Just then, Woo Zhengyang's actions brought him a sense of relief. Woo Zhengyang suddenly leaped onto the platform. Was he out of his mind? Just moments ago, he had a heated argument with the people from Moon Light Martial Mansion about exploring the path, and now, without any pressure, he charged ahead on his own.

With someone else taking the lead, the others were more than happy to watch how things unfolded. Woo Zhengyang landed in front of the hut and, without any hesitation, stepped inside. Moments later, he emerged with a crimson whip in hand and jumped back onto the boat.

Everyone stared in disbelief. He obtained a whip without encountering any danger? What was going on? Could this be the legendary palace and the great opportunity they had heard about?

If that's really the case, did I come all this way for nothing? No, it can't be. Since it's the Dragon Palace, there must be more than just one treasure!

With this thought, some people wanted to follow Woo Zhengyang into the thatched hut. But before they could move, the hut began to change. Without a sound, the hut and the platform beneath it slowly sank into the sea...

Then, the seven dragon boats sped off again...

Everyone except Woo Zhengyang was left dizzy and frustrated, regretting not having entered the hut. Since it was called the Dragon Palace, the whip that emerged must be extraordinary, likely a spiritual weapon, or even a King Rank weapon!

The more they thought about it, the more likely it seemed, which only deepened their regret. But now that the whip was in Woo Zhengyang's hands, no one dared to make a move except Yu Wenqing. They could only look on with envy.

Feeling the envious gazes from the other dragon boats, Woo Zhengyang smiled wryly. He had entered the hut without hesitation because he was confident. For some reason, his familiarity with this world was growing stronger, and time and again, it proved not to be an illusion.

That familiar feeling assured Woo Zhengyang that the hut was not dangerous and might even hold treasures.

Woo Zhengyang decided to trust his instincts and boldly entered the thatched hut. Inside, he spotted a crimson whip, which reinforced his initial feeling. As soon as he held the whip, he was taken aback.

Was this a treasure? It was just a whip made from woven straw, with some red substance applied to its surface, giving it the appearance of something more valuable at a glance.

Could his instincts be wrong? Or was this whip truly something special? Woo Zhengyang examined the whip thoroughly, inside and out, but found nothing unusual, except for the mysterious red coating.

Of course, Woo Zhengyang wasn't about to share his findings. Let them speculate and envy all they want!

After about an hour, the six others, apart from Woo Zhengyang, perked up. Another thatched hut had appeared. Like the previous one, the stone platform beneath it was engraved with the words "Dragon Palace" in a flamboyant style.

Another Dragon Palace! Woo Zhengyang felt a bit lost, while the others were visibly excited. Everyone, except for Yu Wenqing, was eager to explore.

As the dragon boat approached the hut, still several yards away, Yann Xinjue from the Sea Heart Martial Palace was the first to make a move. He leaped from the boat, landing on the platform with ease.

Fong Zhiyuan wasn't one to fall behind. Almost immediately after Yann Xinjue leaped into action, he followed suit. The other three, not as skilled as the two, could only watch in frustration.

With Yu Wenqing staying out of it, the contents of the thatched hut were now up for grabs between the two of them.

After landing in front of the hut, Yann Xinjue glanced at Fong Zhiyuan, who had just landed nearby, and chuckled, "What’s this? Is Azure Sun Martial Mansion ready to clash with Moon Light Martial Mansion?"

Yann was speaking of the two Martial Mansions, not just himself and Fong. The implication was clear: if Fong made a move, it would mean an all-out battle.

Though their numbers had decreased by two, the situation hadn’t changed much. Sea Heart Martial Palace still had three members, while Azure Sun Martial Mansion had only two. If a fight broke out, it would be a disadvantage for Azure Sun.

"Yann Xinjue, don't get too cocky. I'm ready to test you!" Fong Zhiyuan retorted sharply.

As the leading figure of Azure Sun Martial Mansion, Fong wasn’t one to swallow his pride. Yann had already frustrated him once before, and now, faced with this situation, Fong couldn’t hold back any longer.

Besides, he was already on the platform and couldn’t bring himself to retreat.

Yann had thought he could provoke Fong again, but this time, Fong wasn’t taking the bait.

Deep down, Yann didn’t want to fight Fong right now either. With Yu Wenqing and Woo Zhengyang, two formidable opponents, still present, he had to be extremely cautious even at full strength. If he got injured, he’d be in a precarious position, and any future opportunities would slip away from him.

After a moment of contemplation, Yann Xinjue chuckled softly, "Fong, why get so worked up? From the looks of it, this so-called Dragon Palace might not be the only one. This time, we at Moon Light Martial Mansion got it. Next time, it could be Azure Sun Martial Mansion's turn."

Seeing Yann Xinjue trying to ease the tension, Fong Zhiyuan understood his thoughts and concerns. Like Yann, Fong didn't want a major conflict either. However, after a brief consideration, Fong realized he couldn't back down.

It wasn't just their two Martial Mansions present. Woo Zhengyang had already taken a long whip and might not act again, but there was still Yu Wenqing. Would he make a move next time? Or would there even be a next time?

With this in mind, Fong replied firmly, "If that's the case, Yann, maybe you should let me have this opportunity. Don't forget, when we were fighting for the Dragon Flag, I already stepped back once!"

Hearing Fong's words, Yann's face darkened, his eyes fixed intently on Fong. Fong had made up his mind not to yield, meeting Yann's gaze fearlessly. The two stood in front of the thatched hut, locked in a standoff...

This intense stare-down lasted for several long breaths, and the surrounding temperature dropped sharply. A battle was on the verge of breaking out, needing only a spark to ignite it.

The other three from the two Martial Mansions also tightened their grips on their weapons, ready to act at any moment.

Just then, the dragon boat stopped in front of the platform. Woo Zhengyang casually walked up to the two of them and said, "There's no need for you to argue. The contents inside are mine! Even if you manage to get your hands on them, they'll still end up being mine in the end!"
