C539 You Are too Arrogant!

Arrogant, Still Arrogant!

People were waiting to see if Woo Zhengyang would still have the nerve after the next move, but it turns out he didn't even care about it...

"If I make a move, it's all or nothing!"

Yann Xinjue and Fong Zhiyuan were furious when they heard Woo Zhengyang's words, their eyes burning with anger. Was this guy really that confident?

Two top-tier Inner Stage fighters teaming up, even two Martial Mansions joining forces, and he still didn't take them seriously, threatening an all-or-nothing fight?

Woo Zhengyang ignored their rage, walking right between them and entering the small thatched hut...

The two, burning with anger, ultimately didn't explode, but letting it go like this was a real blow to their pride.

As they stood there, unsure of what to do, Woo Zhengyang disappeared into the hut, and the moment he vanished, they felt a powerful force push them back to their respective boats without any resistance.

The more mysterious it was, the more it indicated that the hut held something extraordinary, leaving the two even more frustrated.

However, after this encounter, they had witnessed Woo Zhengyang's sheer arrogance. Without a surefire plan, they knew they couldn't clash with this madman again. If it truly came down to an all-or-nothing fight, it would be a real problem.

Fortunately, besides Woo Zhengyang, there was also Yu Wenqing. Both of them were strong. Would Yu Wenqing really let Woo Zhengyang act so arrogantly? They were eager to see what would happen when Yu Wenqing made a move. Maybe then, they could seize an opportunity for themselves.

From the outside, the thatched hut seemed empty. But once inside, you could see a simple stone platform in the center. The crimson whip in Woo Zhengyang's hand had been taken from that very platform. This time, the platform held another whip, but it was silver.

"Why the obsession with whips?" Woo Zhengyang wondered about the designer of all this.

Despite the curse, Woo Zhengyang had no choice but to take it. Without overthinking, he picked up the silver whip. As soon as he held it, he couldn't help but smirk. The texture of the whip revealed that, despite its color, it was made of the same material as the crimson whip—just straw.

Standing against three factions for a straw-made whip seemed hardly worth it to Woo Zhengyang. It was all because of that inexplicable premonition!

This time, however, the whip was coated with a silver substance. What could this be? Hopefully, it wasn't another curse!

Woo Zhengyang, still shaken, examined the mysterious silver-white substance but couldn't determine what it was. With no other option, he placed the two long whips together, intending to tie them around his waist.

According to the curse he just encountered, the whips couldn't be more than ten feet away from him, so storing them in the Hidden Heaven Bag or the Ice Crystal Fire Hall was out of the question. Since Woo Zhengyang needed to be ready for battle at any moment, he couldn't just carry them around in his hands.

"One No Life Sword and two grass-made whips. The sword's fine—at least it's a King Rank weapon. But these grass whips... they're just a burden!" Woo Zhengyang thought, frustrated, as he wrapped the two whips together.

As he did, something unexpected happened. A silver-white light and a crimson light flashed, and the two grass whips merged into one...

Staring at the now singular crimson whip in his hand, Woo Zhengyang was bewildered. The whips were just casually woven grass, not even considered weapons, let alone magical artifacts. How could they transform so drastically?

Could it be the substances coating the whips? The crimson one was covered in the blood of a vengeful dragon, but what was the silver-white material?

Filled with questions, Woo Zhengyang returned to the ship. The grass hut vanished beneath the sea, and the ship set sail once more...

However, this time, the people on the dragon boat had different thoughts.

Woo Zhengyang continued to focus on studying the long whip, while the others were contemplating how to deal with him. When Woo Zhengyang emerged from the thatched hut, he still held the crimson whip, as if he had gained nothing. Yet, the more he acted this way, the more unsettled the others felt. With Woo Zhengyang's cautious nature, if he didn't dare to reveal what he had obtained, it must be something extraordinary!

In no time, another thatched hut appeared. This time, all eyes turned to Yu Wenqing, who looked at Woo Zhengyang with a slight smile. The dragon boat came to a halt, and Woo Zhengyang, unfazed by the attention, stood up and walked toward the hut.

Unexpectedly, Yu Wenqing remained seated on his dragon boat, simply watching Woo Zhengyang leap onto the platform. Since Yu Wenqing didn't make a move, Yann Xinjue and Fong Zhiyuan naturally didn't want to stir up trouble either, allowing Woo Zhengyang to enter the hut without any hindrance.

Before long, Woo Zhengyang returned, still empty-handed. The journey continued, with the thatched huts appearing again and again. Woo Zhengyang would enter and exit repeatedly.

Yu Wenqing remained calmly seated on the dragon boat, showing no intention of taking action. Initially, he paid some attention to Woo Zhengyang's movements, but eventually, he even closed his eyes. So, the dragon boat stopped and started, Woo Zhengyang went in and out, and the others could do nothing but watch.

When Woo Zhengyang emerged from behind the sixth thatched hut, someone from the Moon Light Martial Mansion called out, a bit unwillingly, "You've taken the stuff, and we won't dare to snatch it. How about showing us what you've got?"

This shout piqued everyone's interest, even Yu Wenqing opened his eyes, curious about what Woo Zhengyang had acquired from the hut. However, Woo Zhengyang didn't have anything else to show. Unable to explain, he pretended not to hear and silently returned to his dragon boat, continuing to study the long whip.

On his recent visits to the huts, Woo Zhengyang had collected several long whips of different colors, merging them together, yet he still couldn't make sense of them. It wasn't until he obtained the ninth whip that the combined whip finally showed some change—a bunch of straw fell out of it.

Peering inside the whip again, he saw only nine layers of differently colored materials. At that moment, Woo Zhengyang received a message from the whip: "The essence of the nine beasts has been collected. Inject the dragon soul to lift the curse!"

Hearing the first part of the message, Woo Zhengyang's face lit up with joy, thinking his curse was about to be lifted. But then he realized he needed a dragon soul. Where on earth was he supposed to find one?
