C551 Hundred Flower World
It was as if Yun'er knew Woo Zhengyang would hesitate. As she spoke, a radiant, multicolored light enveloped him.
This time, Woo Zhengyang finally understood why Bing'er and the other three had been unable to fight back. In that moment, as the light approached, he felt his entire world freeze, unable even to breathe.
The force of the world!
And it was the complete force of the world!
Unlike when Woo Zhengyang harnessed his martial will, borrowing the world's power to enhance his strength, Yun'er had full control over it. Complete control meant bending the world to her will, commanding life and death with just a thought.
This level was known as the Law of Heaven Realm!
Another name for the Law of Heaven Realm was Martial Emperor!
Yun'er was truly a Martial Emperor, one of the most powerful beings in existence!
Woo Zhengyang had only suspected it before, but now that it was confirmed, he was utterly astounded. Yet, why would a Martial Emperor address him as "young master"? What was her purpose in doing all this?
With his body bound by the world's force, unable even to summon the Profound Heaven Fire Power, the only thing Woo Zhengyang could move was his mind.
At this moment, Woo Zhengyang wished he had no thoughts at all. He watched as the vibrant, multicolored light enveloped Rice and sent it into the ocean, unaffected by the frozen world around him.
"Young Master, there's not much time. I'll apologize later, but if you want to know where they are, quickly ascend the ladder. Whatever you do, don't get swallowed up!" Yun'er spoke quickly before transforming into tiny white lights and vanishing.
In an instant, Woo Zhengyang found himself alone in the world. As Yun'er disappeared, the frozen surroundings began to crumble. He turned around, surrounded by an endless ocean, with the palace roof beneath him shrinking and the sea spreading upward.
The feeling was lonely and harsh, making Woo Zhengyang particularly uneasy. Suddenly, he felt something beneath him. Looking down, he noticed the seawater forming the palace was flowing several times faster than before.
Previously, the water circulated, rising on one side and flowing down the other. Now, all the water surged upward, forming step after step above the roof. This must be the ladder Yun'er mentioned.
It seemed the rules here were indeed as Yu Wenqing described, with a limit on the number of people. Only when one person remained would the ladder appear.
Woo Zhengyang was both frustrated and skeptical about Yun'er's inexplicable actions. However, he understood Yun'er's good intentions—she wanted him to stay because the celestial ladder had appeared. Although Yun'er might have meant well, Woo Zhengyang disliked having his path forcibly arranged for him.
But what could he do about it? Besides climbing the celestial ladder, Woo Zhengyang had no other choice. To uncover the truth, he had to see it through to the end.
The encroaching seawater was less than six feet away from Woo Zhengyang, leaving him no time to hesitate. He stepped onto the ladder formed by the seawater and began his ascent, step by step...
The celestial ladder, a stairway to the heavens! Walking on this seawater-formed ladder felt extraordinary, even more so than when Woo Zhengyang and his companions had been walking parallel or upside down. Before, no matter how they moved, they were still within the confines of the seawater palace. Now, Woo Zhengyang was steadily approaching the sky.
Not long after Woo Zhengyang began his climb, the palace below was completely submerged by the sea. There truly was no turning back now. An hour later, Woo Zhengyang reached the end of the sky.
He didn't know if the sky had an end in other places, but in this ocean world, it certainly did. When there were no more steps to climb, Woo Zhengyang reached out and touched an invisible barrier.
On the journey, Woo Zhengyang didn't encounter any danger. He initially thought the barrier was some kind of restriction or test, and breaking through it would be tough. To his surprise, a slight push with his finger pierced right through it!
"If this is what they call the sky, did I just poke a hole in it with one finger?" Woo Zhengyang mused idly. Suddenly, an irresistible force pulled him upward, taking him above the sky...
Dazzling lights appeared before his eyes, and as Woo Zhengyang regained his senses, he realized he was back in the starry space. The last time he was here, the creator of this world had played a trick on him, dropping him into the Ocean World. Was it going to happen again?
Soon, Woo Zhengyang noticed something different. This starry space wasn't the same as before. Besides the endless stars, he could see various worlds of different sizes. Some were vibrant and full of life, others were frozen wastelands, and some were shrouded in ominous thunderclouds.
Among them, one world was very familiar to Woo Zhengyang—it was the Ocean World he had just left. He counted the worlds he could clearly see; there were dozens, and there seemed to be just as many faintly visible ones.
Is this the legendary world of a hundred flowers, a hundred different realms? But if this is the world of a hundred flowers, then where am I now?
Woo Zhengyang looked down and saw a pathway made of vibrant, colorful light, like a rainbow beneath his feet. This radiant path branched out in many directions, encompassing all the various worlds.
He took a step forward and noticed that with each step, a burst of light emanated from around his feet, creating a stunning display. Observing the different sizes and layouts of these worlds, Woo Zhengyang began walking toward the center, thinking that if there was any opportunity to be found, it would be in that direction.
His intuition was correct. Before reaching the center of the hundred flower world, Woo Zhengyang spotted two grand palaces towering in the distance. One was black, the other white. While they weren't as large as the palace in the ocean world, unlike the illusionary ocean palace, these two were undeniably real.
Even from several hundred yards away, Woo Zhengyang could feel an overwhelming pressure emanating from the palaces. The black palace exuded a fierce, imposing aura, while the white palace seemed noble and serene, as if everything in its presence should bow before it.
Two contrasting palaces stood facing each other, with a plaza in between. In the plaza, quite a few people were already seated cross-legged, waiting. Woo Zhengyang counted nineteen individuals in total. Fifteen of them were from the Heavenly Mirror Pavilion, while the remaining four were from various Martial Mansions: two from the Moon Light Martial Mansion, and one each from the Azure Sun Martial Mansion and the Sea Heart Martial Palace.
