C556 Farewell Yun'er
Under the immense pressure, every inch Woo Zhengyang ascended increased the strain on his body. The protective shield, powered by his life force, was no longer enough to withstand the force. Desperate, he summoned all his Profound Heaven Fire Power and Nine Nether Ice Power. Yet, even with this, the shield could only cling tightly to his skin, unable to fully expand.
As the powers of ice and fire coursed through him, Woo Zhengyang's entire being alternated between a deep blue and a fiery red, creating a striking contrast with the brilliant stars around him. Utilizing the advantage of his Ice Crystal Fire Body, he managed to climb another twenty feet, leaving less than three feet to the massive vortex.
But those final three feet were the hardest.
"Pop..."
The protective shield finally gave way, shattering. Woo Zhengyang felt as if he had been struck, letting out a pained grunt and spitting out a mouthful of blood.
Gazing at the enormous vortex within reach, Woo Zhengyang poured all his life force into his flying sword. At this moment, he had no other thoughts, only an unwavering determination to touch the colossal vortex.
The colors of ice and fire around him faded, and a crimson layer appeared on his skin. It was formed by droplets of blood seeping through his pores, pressed against him by the immense pressure.
Woo Zhengyang could even feel his body being compressed, his bones and organs all affected. His internal organs were holding up well, thanks to his Inner Stage cultivation. The flow of his vital energy allowed him to withstand the impact, but the pain in his muscles and bones was extraordinary.
There's no pain like one that gnaws at your bones and sears your heart. Woo Zhengyang was enduring a deep, bone-penetrating agony, on the verge of passing out, held together only by sheer willpower.
Finally, his fingers reached the center of the massive vortex. In that moment, all the pain vanished as he awaited the final judgment. A force pulled at him, and he felt the pressure around him ease as he was drawn into the vortex, finally able to relax.
Then, unable to hold on any longer, Woo Zhengyang lost consciousness...
He didn't know how much time had passed when he slowly woke up, finding himself in a vast and exquisite palace. The walls were constructed of white jade, emitting a gentle glow. Above, a luminous pearl hung, shining brightly and illuminating the entire palace.
Yet, none of this was enough to shock Woo Zhengyang.
To Woo Zhengyang's shock, he found himself lying in bed.
Sheer curtains, pearl beaded drapes, and a bed of white jade.
Most importantly, Woo Zhengyang was completely uncovered, without a stitch of clothing on him...
"Young Master, you're awake."
A pleasant voice approached, and Woo Zhengyang followed the sound, finally breathing a sigh of relief. It was Yun'er, the person he had been desperately searching for.
But in the next moment, Woo Zhengyang suddenly realized his situation. He quickly grabbed the silk quilt to cover himself and said, "Miss Yun'er, please wait a moment, I’m not..."
"Hee hee..." Seeing Woo Zhengyang's flustered state, Yun'er couldn't help but cover her mouth and laugh, her steps unhesitating as she walked straight to the jade bed. She continued teasingly, "The Young Master is shy? I was just helping you clean the blood off your body!"
At these words, Woo Zhengyang's face turned crimson.
He felt a bit overwhelmed by these palatial surroundings. The last time, in the Ice Crystal Fire Palace, a woman named Nalan Yan'er had schemed against him just because he had accidentally seen Bing'er and the others. It was a minor setup, merely a glimpse.
But this time, a woman had actually wiped his body clean, something that made the inexperienced Woo Zhengyang blush even more.
"Um... Miss Yun, do you know where Bing and the others are now?" After his initial embarrassment, Woo Zhengyang remembered his purpose and quickly asked, hoping to avoid further awkwardness.
"Young Master, were those four young ladies your wives?"
"My wives? Uh... no... How are they now?" Zhengyang was still recovering from his embarrassment when Yun's straightforwardness caught him off guard again.
"Don't worry, Young Master. After they fell into the endless sea, they weren't in any danger. They were just sent out of the Hundred Flower World. At that moment, time was tight, and I couldn't stay there long, so I had to act hastily. Please forgive me!" Yun said as she approached the white jade bed and bowed deeply.
"As long as they're safe, it's fine. No need to worry!"
Hearing that Bing, the other three women, and Rice were safe, Zhengyang finally felt relieved.
Seeing Yun kneeling on the ground, Zhengyang was both surprised and flattered. This was a powerful martial artist, possibly even at the level of a Martial Emperor, kneeling before him.
In his panic, Zhengyang hurried to help her up, only to realize he wasn't dressed. He quickly retreated and said repeatedly, "Please, stand up! I think there must be some misunderstanding. I'm afraid I'm not your Young Master!"
A formidable and stunning woman calling you "young master" is a dream come true for many, but Woo Zhengyang knew she had mistaken him for someone else.
Bing'er and the other three women addressing him as "young master" made some sense. After all, he had stumbled into the Ice Crystal Fire Hall by chance and, with Nalan Yan'er's help, had brought the hall into the Purple Mansion Spirit Platform. Whether it was out of gratitude or following Nalan Yan'er's arrangements, their allegiance was understandable.
However, the Hundred Flower Palace had nothing to do with him. He didn't even belong to this world, so how could he be Yun'er's "young master"?
"Young master, Yun'er would never mistake you. Even if I did, the Hundred Flower Palace and the Star Pavilion wouldn't. The moment your presence entered here, we all sensed it."
"The Hundred Flower Palace and the Star Pavilion? Are you talking about those two black and white palaces?" Woo Zhengyang asked, puzzled.
"Yes, young master, you're currently in the Hundred Flower Palace. When you were gravely injured and unconscious in the endless void, I had to bring you in. Across from us is the Star Pavilion." As Yun'er spoke, she waved her hand, and the white jade wall in front of them turned transparent, revealing the black Star Pavilion and the vast plaza to Woo Zhengyang.
"Are these two palaces connected to me?"
"Yes, only when the young master appears do these palaces awaken, and Yun'er will awaken to welcome you."
"But... I've never been here before, nor have I heard of this place! Besides, I'm still so young... this place must have been around for hundreds of years!"
Woo Zhengyang recalled that the Hundred Flower World had opened countless times, and he mentioned this.
