C559 A Kingdomtoppling Beauty That Could Overturn the World(part I)
Woo Zhengyang had long suspected Yun'er's level of cultivation, but even with confirmation, he couldn't help but be shocked. The Imperial Realm was the highest level in this world. For Woo Zhengyang, it was an unattainable height. He never imagined he would meet someone of the Imperial Realm, let alone be addressed as "Young Master" by one.
As they continued on their journey, Yun'er shared what she knew. Years ago, when the Star Pavilion and the Hundred Flower Palace were newly established, a great calamity struck. To protect their hard-earned foundations, the leader of the Star Pavilion sealed both places. However, to leave a path for himself and his unborn child, he didn't completely seal the Hundred Flower Small World. He preserved the small world originally intended for the disciples' trials. Because of this, the Misty Mountain Range opens periodically, a tradition lasting for millennia.
Over the years, the Misty Mountain Range became a trial ground for this world. Many Martial Mansions have come and gone, but none could access the core of the world, only engaging in the most basic trials. It wasn't until Woo Zhengyang appeared that the world sensed his soul's imprint, unlocking the core's Star Gate. Yun'er was awakened from her cultivation, appearing before Woo Zhengyang to pave the way for him to enter the starry world smoothly.
The rules of the Hundred Flower World couldn't be changed. Without obtaining the Star Bead, if Woo Zhengyang was sent out, he wouldn't be able to return until the next opening of the Hundred Flower World. So, Yun'er had to briefly reveal herself and intervene with Bing'er and the other three women to prevent Woo Zhengyang from being sent out as well.
After hearing the reasons, Woo Zhengyang naturally didn't blame Yun'er, as she was acting in his best interest. As they spoke, Yun'er led Woo Zhengyang to a magical place. Just moments ago, they were in the Hundred Flower Palace, constructed of white jade. With a single step, they found themselves in a vast starry sky.
Upon closer inspection, Woo Zhengyang realized the scene was very familiar. Small worlds were arranged in a sequence, just like the Hundred Flower World he had seen upon first entering this starry expanse. However, what he had seen before was much larger, while here, each of these worlds was only the size of a fist.
Even more intriguing, each of these small worlds had a spiritual flower growing on it. A hundred spiritual flowers were arranged in a peculiar formation, with a subtle energy flowing between them. At the center of this formation was a vibrant, multicolored light curtain, where all the spiritual energy from the flowers converged.
"What is this?" Woo Zhengyang asked, puzzled.
"This is the essence of the Hundred Flower World. From here, you can see every corner of it!"
"The essence of the Hundred Flower World?" Woo Zhengyang was a bit puzzled.
"The essence is the fundamental existence of a world. I can't really explain it, but I know my sisters and I grew up on the essence of this world," Yun'er explained, leading Woo Zhengyang to the front of this world's essence. Unlike others, this one didn't have any spiritual flowers growing on it.
Yun'er giggled, "This is my home!"
As she spoke, Yun'er vanished, and in the once-empty space, a crystal-clear, ethereal daffodil appeared. The daffodil swayed gently despite the absence of wind, and Yun'er's voice echoed again, "Master, isn't Yun'er's true form beautiful?"
"Beautiful," Woo Zhengyang replied sincerely, though he felt a bit strange conversing with a daffodil.
"Hehe..." Yun'er giggled and transformed back into her human form in front of Woo Zhengyang.
"Yun'er, can these other spiritual flowers transform like you?" Woo Zhengyang asked, pointing to the other flowers.
Hearing his question, Yun'er's expression dimmed, and she shook her head slightly. "No, after the great calamity, the world lacks spiritual energy. It's not enough to sustain the formation our master set up. For some reason, many of my sisters reached the peak of their cultivation but couldn't advance further. To keep the formation running, they had to disperse their energy, using it to support the formation. Out of the hundred spiritual flowers, only Yun'er remains. The others are reborn forms of my sisters, unable to transform."
Upon hearing Yun'er's account, Woo Zhengyang's expression turned solemn. It takes immense courage for an ordinary cultivator to give up their power, let alone someone who has reached the pinnacle of the Emperor rank.
Unlike Moh Lunhui and his companions, who reincarnated with a clear purpose, these spirit flowers were simply guardians of a formation, gaining no personal benefit from their sacrifice.
"Is this formation meant to maintain the operation of this world? Are you unable to leave because of it?" Woo Zhengyang asked, puzzled.
Based on Yun'er's explanation, the leaders of the Star Pavilion and the Hundred Flower Palace didn't seem inherently evil, so why would they restrict their freedom?
"We can't leave because of the formation, but it's not for maintaining this world. It's for you, Young Master."
"For me?"
"Yes, you'll understand once you enter," Yun'er said, pointing to the shimmering light curtain.
Though still confused, Woo Zhengyang chose to trust Yun'er and stepped into the radiant curtain. He had assumed it was a portal, but it felt like passing through a veil of water.
The next moment, Woo Zhengyang stood frozen in surprise. Inside the light curtain was a space the size of a room, where vibrant colors intertwined to form a pure, transparent cocoon.
Woo Zhengyang stood there, stunned. Inside the cocoon sat a woman, cross-legged, a breathtaking beauty.
She wore a pure white dress, untouched by even a speck of dust, resembling a celestial goddess. Her attire was whiter than snow, her skin equally flawless, with an added touch of youthful softness. She seemed sculpted from the finest pearl and jade, her long, dark hair cascading down, framing her exquisite features. Her beauty was unparalleled, a harmony of elegance and grace.
After witnessing Nalan Yan'er's extraordinary beauty at the Ice Crystal Fire Hall, Woo Zhengyang hadn't encountered anyone who could compare. Even though Bing'er and the other three women, along with Liang Ruoxuan and Situ Jingxiang, were rare beauties in their own right, none had left Woo Zhengyang as awestruck.
