C578 Flame Bird
The Firewing Sparrow earned its name because its wings can emit flames, boosting its speed during flight. This little creature is an obscure beast, and if Woo Zhengyang hadn't asked Yun'er, he wouldn't have known it was a mystical creature. Even after asking Yun'er, Zhengyang spent quite a while searching before spotting the Firewing Sparrow. Its incredible speed and stealthy flight make it hard to detect unless you're specifically looking for it.
The reasons for its obscurity are simple. First, its rank isn't high, and it doesn't attack people, so few have the chance to see it. Second, it's so small that despite its speed, it doesn't serve well as a flying beast, so it doesn't attract much attention.
However, for Woo Zhengyang, the Firewing Sparrow is perfect. He plans to transform the Ice Crystal Fire Hall into a pinpoint of light, attach it to the sparrow, and have it fly to Great Leaf Village. With a focused thought, Zhengyang imprints the location of Great Leaf Village and instructions on how to carry the Ice Crystal Fire Hall in its beak, and how to return with it after a couple of days, into the sparrow's mind.
In the outside world, even with the sparrow's weaknesses, Zhengyang couldn't achieve such a miraculous feat. But in this Star World, where everything revolves around the Star Bead, Zhengyang, having merged with the Star Bead, holds dominion over all things, allowing him to accomplish this task.
Woo Zhengyang was still getting used to his new role. He had the skills but wasn't sure how to use them. Thankfully, Yun'er was observing him and the others, overhearing their debates and relaying the information to Woo Zhengyang. Without this help, he might not have come up with the solution.
Executing the plan wasn't complicated. After everything was set, Woo Zhengyang made some adjustments inside the Ice Crystal Fire Hall. In the main hall, Bing'er and her sisters stood, but it wasn't appropriate for the folks from Great Leaf Village to be there. So, Woo Zhengyang changed the entrance to lead to a different chamber.
Next, he invited Bing'er and her three companions into the Ice Crystal Fire Hall. Yu Xiaoshui wanted to join, and after some thought, Woo Zhengyang agreed. The events in the Misty Mountain Range were unknown to Yu Xiaoshui's village, so bringing her along wouldn't cause any issues.
As for Liu Dahu and Rice, there was no need for them to come. Woo Zhengyang trusted his reputation in Great Leaf Village.
Once everything was in place, Woo Zhengyang appeared outside Bewilderment Dragon Stream with his companion, a bird named Winged Fire Sparrow. He controlled the mist above, creating a small clear area for the bird to come and go.
Then, Woo Zhengyang entered the Ice Crystal Fire Hall. The Winged Fire Sparrow, following Woo Zhengyang's instructions, picked up the tiny Ice Crystal Fire Hall in its beak and, with small flames flickering from its wings, soared into the sky.
The distance from the Misty Mountain Range to Great Leaf Village would take Woo Zhengyang at least five or six days of non-stop travel if he were flying on his sword. Yet, the Winged Firebird covered it in just two days, much faster than the Azure Sun Martial Mansion's Red-scaled Green-eyed Beast. Even compared to the Heavenly Mirror Pavilion's Sky Shuttle, the Winged Firebird's speed was impressive.
Thinking about the Sky Shuttle, Woo Zhengyang couldn't help but regret not extorting it from Lee Yuanye when he had the chance. It was a valuable item. However, on second thought, he felt he made the right decision. If he had taken the Sky Shuttle, how would Lee Yuanye have returned to the Heavenly Mirror Pavilion to fetch treasures for him? It was better to let him keep it for now and extort it later, perhaps in a couple of weeks.
This realization made Woo Zhengyang feel a bit shameless, but he didn't feel guilty. He blamed Lee Yuanye for corrupting him, thinking it was only fair that Lee Yuanye faced the consequences of his actions.
Two days later, Woo Zhengyang sensed a light outside the Ice Crystal Fire Hall and appeared outside, finding himself at the entrance of Great Leaf Village. As he walked into the village, he happened to meet Sun Li, who was leading a group of young villagers on a hunting trip.
Seeing Woo Zhengyang, who was supposed to be at the Azure Sun Martial Mansion, appear here, Sun Li and the others were startled. They gathered around Woo Zhengyang, eager to know what had happened.
With time running short, Woo Zhengyang first sought out the Old Village Chief and briefly explained the issues he faced and his thoughts on the matter.
The Old Village Chief made a swift decision, instructing Sun Li and the others to gather everyone in the village. He then asked Woo Zhengyang to clearly explain his intentions.
Naturally, everyone had strong feelings for the place they had always called home. Fortunately, Woo Zhengyang proposed that they all relocate together, ensuring that family and friends would remain united, sparing them the pain of separation.
Moreover, in the Hundred Flower World, everyone could train with peace of mind, with access to countless techniques and martial skills. This was highly appealing, especially compared to the struggle of trying to get into the Azure Sun Martial Mansion. After hearing about Woo Zhengyang's experiences there, the villagers felt even less inclined to pursue that path.
The Old Village Chief, however, had a broader vision. Living in this remote village, they were either striving for a better life or merely struggling to survive, all due to their lack of strength. The scarcity of techniques and martial skills was a major factor limiting their abilities.
If they had access to a wealth of techniques and martial skills and trained diligently, their strength would surely increase dramatically. While they might not match a Martial Mansion in the short term, what about in a few decades or even centuries?
Future generations might become a new force. So, when they heard about the Star World controlled by Woo Zhengyang, which included many techniques and martial skills, the Old Village Chief was all for it, and so were Sun Li and the others.
With the issues in Great Leaf Village resolved, everyone went back to get ready, waiting to leave with Woo Zhengyang in two days. Woo Zhengyang wasn't idle either; he had two more villages to visit.
Initially, Woo Zhengyang didn't know the locations of these other villages, and Yu Xiaoshui didn't know how to get from Great Leaf Village to their Daxing Village, so Woo Zhengyang couldn't give directions to the Winged Firebird. He had just learned the locations of these two villages from the Old Village Chief. Unfortunately, outside, Woo Zhengyang couldn't control the Winged Firebird by force, so he had to make the trip himself.
Fortunately, Woo Zhengyang's cultivation had reached the Inner Stage. Plus, the flying sword he used now was far superior to the ordinary ones he had before.
