C580 Sleeping for Six Days
Woo Zhengyang navigated the outskirts of the Myriad Desolate Mountain for hours, relying on his memory, yet he couldn't find a single familiar landmark. He had anticipated this outcome, knowing this trip was just a preliminary visit. He planned to return later for a more thorough search.
Just as he was about to give up, a familiar sensation suddenly surged through him... energy! It was the long-lost energy he hadn't felt in ages!
Zhengyang's physical training had reached the Inner Stage, equivalent to the Shape Gathering Stage in energy cultivation, placing him among the masters. However, his energy cultivation remained at the Reality Condensing Stage, the level he was at when he first arrived here. So, even though the energy reappeared, it didn't enhance his combat abilities.
Yet, the reappearance of this energy thrilled Zhengyang more than advancing to a master or even a king in martial arts. His Ice Crystal Fire Hall could only unleash its full potential when both energy cultivation and physical training were in harmony.
Unfortunately, the energy vanished as quickly as it appeared, leaving Zhengyang's smile frozen on his face. The energy inside him also froze, becoming stagnant once more.
Despite the disappointment, Zhengyang didn't lose hope. At least he saw a glimmer of possibility—a chance to return to where he belonged.
The Myriad Desolate Mountain was no ordinary place, given its ability to channel energy. It might just hold the key to the way back. Unfortunately, time was scarce. Woo Zhengyang couldn't abandon the folks from Great Leaf Village, or even Rice and Yun'er. He'd have to return for further exploration when the opportunity arose.
Marking his location, Woo Zhengyang flew back to Great Leaf Village overnight. The night passed in silence, and before dawn, he had already gathered everyone into the Ice Crystal Fire Hall. He then retrieved the Firebird from within and placed it where they had first arrived.
With everything set, Woo Zhengyang positioned the Ice Crystal Fire Hall in front of the Firebird and entered it himself. Before long, he sensed darkness outside, indicating the Firebird had taken the hall in its beak.
Everything went smoothly, and two days passed just like that. When Woo Zhengyang sensed light outside the Ice Crystal Fire Hall again, he stepped out to find himself back in the Misty Mountain Range. Stowing away the Ice Crystal Fire Hall and the Firebird, he returned to the Hundred Flower World.
Following Yun'er's suggestion, Woo Zhengyang discovered a peaceful little world and released everyone from the Ice Crystal Fire Hall. The two villages were both eager and anxious about their new home. While Great Leaf Village, with its smaller population, required fewer buildings, Daxing Village faced a challenge. With thousands of people, each family needed a place to call home amidst the wilderness.
Seeing the expressions on everyone's faces, Woo Zhengyang understood their concerns. With a slight smile, he waved his hand, and streams of celestial power flowed from the sky like a vibrant, rainbow-hued waterfall spanning the heavens and earth.
Under this celestial force, rocks shattered and reformed, stacking themselves on the ground. Buildings began to take shape at a speed visible to the naked eye, leaving the villagers from both communities wide-eyed and bewildered.
"This... this is a miracle!" exclaimed an elderly man with white hair and beard, tears streaming down his face as he prostrated himself in awe. The others followed suit, unable to resist bowing down in reverence.
Initially, when Woo Zhengyang or Yu Xiaoshui told them about the wonders of this world and how Woo Zhengyang had mastered it, they couldn't quite grasp it. What intrigued them were the endless promises of skills and martial techniques. But now, witnessing Woo Zhengyang's display of power, they were utterly astounded.
This was beyond human capability!
Woo Zhengyang noted their amazement but didn't offer much explanation or interference. This was intentional. He harbored no ill will towards these villages, but he knew that establishing order was crucial. He had to assert his authority from the start to prevent chaos in his domain.
Several hours later, a beautifully arranged cluster of buildings was completed to perfection. Woo Zhengyang had never designed or constructed any buildings before, but he had seen countless structures in his time. In the previous world, with its dense population, there were numerous buildings, each region and city boasting its own unique style.
In the current world, aside from some desolate villages and small towns, even the Azure Sun Martial Mansion was quite plain and simple. So, even if Woo Zhengyang casually mimicked some of the architectural designs from the previous world, they turned out to be remarkably beautiful. Moreover, Woo Zhengyang combined all the most memorable designs he had seen, creating something so stunning that even he felt tempted to live there. The villagers, who had never seen such architecture, were naturally awestruck.
Of course, all of this was possible due to Woo Zhengyang's abilities. Without the power to control everything, he wouldn't have been able to construct each building with such ease, let alone create two building clusters, one large and one small, in such a short time.
The two clusters were built against the mountains. The larger one, grand and imposing like a small city, was constructed for Daxing Village. The smaller cluster, though not as grand, was exquisite, nestled by the water with lush greenery, resembling a paradise on earth, and was built for Great Leaf Village. The villagers from both places were left speechless with amazement, naturally having no objections.
Woo Zhengyang called over Liu Dahu, asking him and Yu Xiaoshui, with the help of Bing'er and the other three women, to manage the affairs of the two villages. Meanwhile, he returned to the Hundred Flower Palace.
What he had just accomplished left everyone in awe, almost viewing Woo Zhengyang as a divine figure. However, the effort had taken a significant toll on him. Even though he could draw upon the infinite power of the stars, the mental energy required to construct each building was immense. If not for Woo Zhengyang's unusually strong soul energy, completing both building complexes in one go would have been impossible.
Back at the Hundred Flower Palace, Woo Zhengyang found Rice asleep again, which made him chuckle awkwardly. How could this little girl be so sleepy all the time? He decided not to disturb her and sat down nearby to meditate.
After several hours, Woo Zhengyang awoke from his meditation and glanced at the small world he had created. The people in the two villages were still bustling with activity. Although the buildings were in place, there were many tasks they needed to handle themselves.
Looking down, he noticed Rice was still asleep, and a sense of unease crept in. After consulting with Liu Dahu, Woo Zhengyang felt even more concerned. Rice had been asleep for six days...
