C663 Forcefully Subduing
As Woo Zhengyang downed the soul poison without a hint of distress, the Black Ball Martial King's face twitched slightly. He knew all too well the potency of the soul poison, which was why he had such confidence in it. Yet, seeing Woo Zhengyang unaffected left him more shocked than anyone else.
"Impressive... truly impressive... you're quite the extraordinary character. But even with your talents, isn't it a bit bold to come here alone? I heard you have four stunning companions. I had some special surprises prepared for them too. Why didn't they come along?" The Black Ball Martial King spoke, a sly glint in his eyes.
Woo Zhengyang's meteoric rise was due to his ability to defeat a martial king with a single strike while still a martial artist himself. However, the most talked-about aspect of that battle wasn't Woo Zhengyang or the martial king Liao Qinghua, but rather the four women, as enchanting as fairies, who accompanied him. The Black Ball Martial King was particularly interested in them.
As he spoke, the Black Ball Martial King had already dressed. The woman beneath him, still under the influence of the soul poison, lay motionless. Woo Zhengyang flicked his fingers, freeing her from its grip.
"Hmph, still trying to put on a show? Fine, let me show you the special tricks I have prepared for you!" The Black Ball Martial King sneered, patting the Hidden Heaven Bag at his waist.
Suddenly, two figures dressed in black flew out from inside. Woo Zhengyang was momentarily stunned to see someone pull two people out of a Hidden Heaven Bag. Since when could it hold people? Upon closer inspection, he realized something was off. Those figures weren't real people but humanoid puppets made of some unknown material.
"Even knowing how powerful you are, I stayed here alone. Do you know why? Besides the soul poison that even a Martial King struggles against, my trump card is these two puppets. Each one has the combat strength of a Martial King. With them, I'm equivalent to three Martial Kings myself!"
"Don't talk to me about soul poison that a Martial King can't resist. I, a mere martial artist, drank plenty and I'm just fine!"
"Hmph, let's see if you can handle their attacks. Get him!" ordered the Black Ball Martial King.
It was peculiar. Once the two puppets hit the ground, they stood still. But as soon as the Black Ball Martial King gave the command, they moved in unison, lunging at Woo Zhengyang!
"You think you're the only one with backup?"
As Woo Zhengyang spoke, he opened up the Star World. In the next moment, a striking red figure appeared in front of him. The sight left both the Black Ball Martial King and Sun Yu wide-eyed...
So beautiful... so alluring...
A cascade of flowing red hair, skin as flawless as alabaster, and features so exquisite they seemed otherworldly. The woman in red was stunning beyond words. Her attire, a sheer layer of fabric, hinted at her graceful shoulders and elegant legs, each a masterpiece in its own right.
These two men, notorious for their lecherous ways, had seen many beautiful women, but none as extraordinary as this. The sight of her left them both momentarily speechless, each swallowing hard in unison.
But in the next moment, their awe turned to terror.
Before their eyes, the ethereal woman began to transform. Red fur sprouted from her skin, and her body started to expand.
In no time, the breathtaking beauty was gone, replaced by a colossal red fox that filled most of the palace chamber.
Crimson hairs flew from the giant fox, weaving together to form an enormous net that descended upon the two humanoid puppets charging forward.
The puppets, armed with swords, swung their blades at the descending net. Remarkably, these puppets were as formidable as skilled warriors, capable of unleashing powerful sword energy.
Two beams of sword light sliced through, tearing large gaps in the massive red web. Yet, new strands of red hair quickly sprouted, mending the openings. The two humanoid puppets struck again, but the web repaired itself each time. After several attempts, the puppets could no longer cut through.
Focused on the web above, they failed to notice the red strands creeping up from below, binding them tightly from feet to head. Unable to move even their heads, they were soon enveloped by the restored web, adding another layer of confinement.
The battle concluded as the red fox's form shrank, revealing a stunning woman. In her hand, she held a net, inside which the two puppets struggled futilely.
Black Ball Martial King and Sun Yu were wide-eyed, more so than when they first saw the breathtaking beauty. The puppets, undeniably at the Martial King level, were effortlessly captured by this extraordinary woman!
This red-clad woman was none other than the Red-clothed Demon King from the ancestral land. When Woo Zhengyang returned from the Spirit Sacrifice Platform, he was separated from the others, but he had managed to trap the Demon King within the Star World.
Upon learning about the troubles faced by Lau Qinghan and Lau Ruyan, Woo Zhengyang began devising a solution. Though proud, Woo Zhengyang was no fool. Without the support of Bing'er and the other three, his combat abilities were no match for a Martial King expert, especially since the Heavenly Martial Sect had clearly come prepared, possibly with several outside reinforcements.
Since they could hire reinforcements, Woo Zhengyang decided to seek help himself, setting his sights on the Red-clothed Demon King. Back in their ancestral land, Lee Yuanye had attempted to subdue the Red-clothed Demon King but failed. Woo Zhengyang could have assisted him then, but their path was uncertain, and they needed to gather information from the Red-clothed Demon King, so he chose not to push her too hard.
Now, however, Woo Zhengyang had no such reservations. In Star World, Woo Zhengyang was akin to a deity. Under his pressure, the Red-clothed Demon King faced two choices: death or surrendering her soul imprint to acknowledge him as her master. When faced with life or death, most would choose the latter, and so did the Red-clothed Demon King.
A soul imprint is the essence of one's soul. If it shatters, the soul loses its core and ultimately fades into nothingness. By handing over her soul imprint, the Red-clothed Demon King's life now hinged on Woo Zhengyang's will.
That's why Woo Zhengyang walked here with such confidence.
