C95 Heaven Shaking Thunder Bead(2)

Since their combined attack required coordination, the three of them couldn't use many of their techniques. Realizing their joint effort was ineffective against Woo Zhengyang, they decided to fight individually instead.

With this decision, they each unleashed their full power. The one wielding a knife even threw a hidden weapon, which was clearly coated in poison, showing they were willing to do anything to win.

Unfortunately for them, as they abandoned their joint attack, Woo Zhengyang lost interest. Although their individual attacks posed a significant threat, they also allowed Woo Zhengyang to easily find openings and defeat them one by one.

With a swift move, Woo Zhengyang caught the poisoned weapon mid-air. Then, he quickly advanced towards the knife-wielder. Seeing Woo Zhengyang catch the weapon barehanded, the knife-wielder was initially pleased, but his expression soon turned to shock.

He heard the sound of metal clashing and realized his weapon was now in Woo Zhengyang's hand, leaving him unharmed. Catching a poisoned weapon barehanded—was this really just a Martial Disciple? Even a Body Tempering cultivator couldn't pull that off!

While he was still in shock, Woo Zhengyang closed the distance and struck at him with a palm. The knife-wielder raised his weapon to counter, only to be stunned once more.

He swung his sword with all his might, but Woo Zhengyang didn’t even flinch. He simply caught it.

Catching a thrown weapon is one thing—it was tossed casually, without much force. But catching a full-powered strike? Is he even human?

At that moment, everyone understood. It wasn’t that Woo Zhengyang had been dodging because he couldn’t handle their attacks. He just didn’t consider the three of them a threat. With his incredible skill of catching a blade with one hand, he could have easily broken through their combined assault and taken them down.

After the initial shock, the swordsman’s expression changed dramatically.

Woo Zhengyang held the long sword in one hand, and with the other, he swung back at him, holding the very weapon the swordsman had just thrown. The swordsman knew all too well about the deadly poison on that weapon, and he was well aware that his body couldn’t withstand it like Woo Zhengyang’s seemingly invincible form.

“Brothers, help me!” the swordsman shouted, abandoning his sword and retreating.

Even without his shout, the other two were already moving to assist him, showing perfect coordination. A long sword and a whip came flying in from both sides.

The sword attacked while the whip circled to block, giving the swordsman a glimmer of hope, even though Woo Zhengyang’s weapon was just inches away from him.

The next moment, the hope in his eyes turned to despair. A force pulled from Woo Zhengyang's hand, halting his rapid retreat, and he was struck directly in the chest by Zhengyang.

"Profound Heavy Power!" The man with the knife realized why that force felt so familiar, but Zhengyang had already moved back, leaving his hidden weapon in the man's chest.

The poison was a deadly one he had meticulously sought out, lethal upon contact. Now, he was experiencing its effects firsthand.

"Second Brother!"

"Big Brother!"

The other two, seeing Zhengyang retreat, thought they had successfully rescued him. But when they noticed the knife-wielder's ashen face and the weapon lodged in his chest, they were shocked.

At that moment, Zhengyang, who had only taken a small step back, returned to his original position. He grabbed the long whip and yanked it hard, pulling the whip-wielder unexpectedly right in front of him.

The "Tyrannical Mountain Shattering Fist" was executed to perfection, striking the whip-wielder's back with immense force.

"Boom..."

The sound of flesh tearing was accompanied by a mist of blood spraying onto the knife-wielder's still-open eyes, and both men fell to the ground.

"Third Brother..." In the blink of an eye, both were dead, and the man with the sword was nearly speechless.

He had known Zhengyang was formidable. After Zhengyang had dismantled their combined attack, he, being the most skilled of the three, realized Zhengyang was not someone to be trifled with.

He had already devised a plan in his mind to handle the situation. If he couldn't overpower the opponent, he was confident in his ability to help the three of them retreat and regroup with other students from the Heavenly Martial Academy before making a comeback.

However, he never expected Woo Zhengyang to be this formidable. In the blink of an eye, two of his companions were dead, leaving him no chance to even beg for mercy.

"I want you dead!" he shouted, raising his sword to the sky. A flash of light appeared in his hand as he retrieved a black sphere from his Hidden Heaven Bag.

The Heaven Shaking Thunder Bead!

This was a magical artifact, crafted to be a mid-grade treasure, but it was single-use. Its power lay in its one-time use. Once completed, it was placed in a special formation to absorb the power of the heavens' thunder. Only after storing this immense power was it truly finished. Despite being a mid-grade treasure, its unleashed power could rival a full-force strike from an intermediate martial artist wielding a mid-grade spiritual weapon.

This was his trump card. He had planned to use it if the three of them were truly overwhelmed, hoping to severely injure Woo Zhengyang or at least create an opportunity to escape. But now, he was the only one left.

Infusing it with his energy, he activated the Heaven Shaking Thunder Bead!
