C4 Beginning of it all
Doctor lee received reports about Lola responding back to life but he still went ahead with the operation.
Ana informed Ria of her stepmother’s deal with her and rage mounted on her,she wonder where such people originated from. Money could be a very dangerous thing.
It’s powerful but it takes another huge effort to resist which seems impossible for this evil woman.
Around 4:00 in the morning,the lawyer arrived with the document which she wasted no time in signing.
The evil plan was unknown to the lawyer,he only acted on what he was told.
He never tampered with the will instead,he felt bad to see Ana being helpless in the family. Deep down,he wished to help her but there was no way to meet her privately without Mrs.Laura knowing.
Ria accompany Ana’s stretcher as she was being taken into the operating room for her transplant.
“How did they arrange for a heart so soon? Perhaps they knew about my illness before?” Ana whispered softly to Ria.
“She is a sly witch of course, im sure she was pretending not to know all along” Ria added.
She then gave her an affectionate look as she caress her hair, separating a strand from her sweat soaked face.
“I will be waiting for you Ana, you must survive” she said to her.
“Please ma'am step back, she needs to go in now” the nurses told Ria.

The day dawned crisp and clear,the first rays of sunlight lit up the room creeping unto Ana’s bed, she was still unconscious. The heart transplant surgery lasted for 4 hours and the anaesthesia doesn't seem to be wearing off soon.
She was lying on the bed with the oxygen mask over her face and connected to the ventilator.
Ria could be seen resting her head on her bed sitting on the chair, she was never going to leave her side until she wakes.
Mrs.Stanley, the poor old woman arrived so early in the hospital on hearing the news from her neighbor who had seen her daughter here the other night.
The news was broken to her- “The baby survived but not the mother, we are so sorry ma'am “ doctor Lee announced it personally before leaving to bring the necessary documents for Mrs.Stanley to sign.
She had requested for her daughter’s guardian but she was told no one turned up.
She knew it was the rich woman at work, she must have some this to her daughter.
She wept helplessly on seeing her grand daughter in the baby cot.
She believed in her daughter’s love and knew that Morgan would never do such, he was a nice and responsible young man.
She tried her best to reach him and he promised to be there in few minutes.
He had been home since last night and her mother lied to him. He knew her mother and failed to believe her still after reading the letter that Lola wrote and dropped on the table.
He rushed out to look for her but she was nowhere to be found, her number didn't go through also. He was on his way to Mrs.Stanley’s place when her call came in.
She is so old and an illiterate at that so she doesn't fancy technology but she used the public telephone this time around. Quite unfortunate.
She's got no money to get her daughter out of the hospital not to talk of her raising the baby.
A black SUV swerved into the hospital area and a young dashing man appeared out of it.
The nurses cooukd not hide their exploration and admiration devoid of the emergency look he wore.
The aura around him spells riches and nobility, he is that rich. Thin eyebrows with sweeping eyelashes that shield his ocean blue eyes, medium-sized brown hair that looks disheveled due to the stress he's been through since the other night.
He is stunningly handsome and 6 feet tall,having the close to perfect look of an elaborately carved pattern of an Ancient Greek god.
“Lola Black” he said, his breath was short and impatience.
Mrs.Stanley called his name from behind, he turned to see his mother in law carrying a new born baby.
He touched her and felt pain radiating through his body, the bond was there.
“Where is she?” his anguish came to his face as tears wells up in his eyes.
He got to the cold room and she was brought out for him to see but her body was covered else he would have noticed series of cuttings on her body which her mother didn't take serious.
It's disheartening to see a great man like him fall to his knees crying his heart out to a dead body.
Hours later, the formalities was done and he agreed to raise the baby.
“Im so sorry Mrs.Stanley, I could not protect her” he said.
“Its all my bad luck that I could not fend for my own daughter... Please protect the baby from your mother” she said.
The word hurt his heart but that was the truth, he felt embarrassed about his mother for the first time. She had used her superiority over the poor which he was going to make her regret.

Anastasia fluttered her eyes open after a happy dream of her father, her vision was blurred at first but after few blinkings, she opened them perfectly.
She removed the mask on her face and called on Ria who jumped to her feet immediately.
“Oh my goodness, Ana you made it” she smiled before going to call the doctor.
If anything was to happen, this should be the beginning of everything.
