C5 The Encounter

Anastasia continued living with her stepmother since she had nowhere to go, it's been two months now and she could not find anyone to help with her plan.

It seems they wouldn't stop even after snatching everything away from her, they found out she's been reaching out to people to rebel against them and do they decided to kill her.

With excuse of her health, they propose her going to one of her father’s vacation house to rest.

She never smelled the dirty play, she thought they just didn't want her around.

She pleaded to take Ria with her but they refused, instead they prepared two maids to tend to her needs.

Ana arrived at the vacation house to see two maids waiting for her as promised by her stepmother.

They were nice and obedient but certainly she was going to miss Ria.

A week later. . . .

She had just finished having dinner with her two companions, at least they didn't make feel lonely and they will be staying with her in the house.

She could not sleep hence causing her late night walk outside the house, glancing over the sky to see the blanket of stars that stretched to infinity.

The occasional barking of faraway dogs broke the silence of the night, it felt peaceful.

Just then she noticed a figure staggering towards her from the dark,she was frightened and voice out with shaky breath.

To her surprise, Ria appeared out of the dark and she took her into embrace.

“Oh heavens Ria,thanks for coming” she cried out holding her tight.

“Miss Ana. . . You you” her breath was ragged and she let out vehemently.

“You need to leave now and promise me you will never show your face to the McCain anymore” she pleaded.

“What’s going on Ria,you’re scaring me” Ana inquired astounded.

“We don’t have much time,take this” Ria handed over her own card to her. This is all my earnings,leave this city and get a new identity! These people are monsters” she warned.

Every effort of Ana to defend for explanation failed as Ria forced her into a taxi waiting outside the house.

She shouted” Don’t ever look back my lady” for the first time,she addressed her formally.

Ana knew something bad was about to happen,she watch Ria disappeared into the house and in the blink of an eye,the house exploded in fire.

She saw it through the car’s mirror.

She yelled asking the driver to stop but he didn't listen to her.

“Ria told me not to let you off until we reach the train station.” the man said to her and locked the door automatically.

She cried till they arrived at the train station and he gave her the ticket to go on board.

“Do you know Ria?” She sobbed like a baby.

“I’m not that close to her,I only followed orders cause she paid me for it” the man said.

The statement infuriated Ana so much that she pounced on the driver landing blows on his face with her fragile hands.

“I hate you people ... I hate you all you can do anything for money,I won’t let you off” she screamed at the man who could not take her tantrums anymore.

He pushed her to the ground and left.

Ana sat down on the floor crying and chanting the same statement like a crazy person “Ria was a good person “

Suddenly, she got hit on her head and two strange men dragged her away causing her card to slip off her hand in the process.

. . . . SIX MONTHS LATER. . . .

Anastasia could be seen in a rich bar in Macau where she has started living her new life as a waitress.

She was taken by a drug dealer at the train station who sold her to a bar owner but she got lucky enough to be receiving salary since she promised to be obedient.

She was ready to endure anything and everything to come back strong on her own.

She was no more Anastasia McCain but Ana Ford, she loved her name because her father had told her that it was given to her by her late mother.

She has been working in the bar for 6 months now and she has been saving up.

In a skyscraper building, one of the best quality in the city is Morgan Black’s office. Not to mention the exceptional structure of the company, ever since he took over the family business, he has taken the company to a high standard.

He is handsome and the second youngest billionaire in the country.

Every lady wishes to be his wife, even if that wasn't possible they would do anything to be on his bed but that was never going to happen.

His past changed him a lot that he detest any form of relationship because he could not get over his first wife, Lola Stanley.

His mother tried to keep the baby’s existence from the public but she can't control him no more.

He has changed to a strict, reserved and cold man and due to his mother’s tricky behaviour, he keeps everyone at arm length.

His staffs fears him and any mistake from anyone, he would fire such staff with no second thought.

He has grown impatience and cold blooded.

The door to his large office flung open revealing his secretary who had been knocking since a while now but decided to enter when there was no response from him.

He could be seen standing behind his table holding a manuscript and looking out of the transparent glass of the room.

“You are fired!” he said without turning to check who it was.

“Sir I'm sorry but it's important, you need to leave for Macau tonight.” his secretary argued.

She seems to be the only one that can still talk this freely with him and this isn't the first time he would be firing her. She is competent and would not want to lose such a hardworking woman like her.

The last person that argued with him should be out on the street looking for another job right now.
