Exiting the airport, Ruan Su and Soong Yan got into the car first, and Bo Xingzhi joined them after about a 10-minute wait. Considering he had flown through the night, he was likely exhausted. As the epitome of a perfect wife, Ruan Su was determined to tend to her husband diligently, hoping to expedite the divorce process. She reached up to massage his shoulders and asked, "Is this pressure okay?" His large hand enveloped her smaller one as he said, "Let me hold you for a moment." Bo Xingzhi pulled her into his embrace and closed his eyes, resting. By the time the car came to a stop in the garage, Ruan Su realized Bo Xingzhi had actually fallen asleep against her. Even in sleep, he was so handsome it was hard to look at him directly, and his thick lashes alone were enough to make any woman envious. His captain's cap lay carelessly tossed on the seat, and his uniform looked impeccable on him. Soong Yan moved to wake Bo Xingzhi, but Ruan Su raised a finger in a quiet signal for silence. Soong Yan slipped out of the car, leaving the two of them alone. With Bo Xingzhi leaning on her, Ruan Su’s shoulder began to ache, but she could not bring herself to disturb him. She gently closed her eyes.
Bo Xingzhi had taken the helm of South Star Airline a few years ago. He had vowed to Mrs. Bo to look after the two daughters of the Yang family, ensuring their lifelong prosperity. He also promised to maintain the safety and success of South Star Airline under his stewardship. He had his own plans, of course. Once he took over South Star Airline, if the daughters of the Yang family were to produce an heir in the future, he intended to carefully groom them and eventually restore the airline to the Yang family. To take over the airline, he knew he had to first understand the industry. A man of his word, he took his responsibilities seriously and was not one to treat them lightly. In the same vein, having decided to divorce, he knew it was time to cut ties without hesitation. Bo Xingzhi gripped the pen tightly and signed his name. He then summoned Soong Yan, instructing him, "Deliver one copy to Ruan Su." "Young Master, did you truly sign it?" Soong Yan nearly shrieked, dreading the thought of his master and mistress parting ways. "What's the matter? Are you upset that I'm divorcing?" Bo Xingzhi asked with a raised eyebrow. Soong Yan inhaled deeply and replied, "Not at all. I'll take it to Miss Ruan immediately." Alas, the term "mistress" would no longer be appropriate. At River Pine Villa, Ruan Su was engrossed in her laptop, her fingers dancing swiftly over the keys. At the sound of a knock, she quickly snapped it shut. Soong Yan entered, announcing, "The Young Master has signed the papers."
