Soong Yan was taken aback. He had braced himself for any conditions Ruan Su might propose, pondering how he should respond and handle them. To his surprise, she did not say anything at all, and her straightforwardness left him somewhat disoriented. Having worked alongside Bo Xingzhi for many years, Soong Yan was privy to the details of his marriage and had always held Ruan Su in high regard. Deep down, he believed Ruan Su and Bo Xingzhi were well-suited for each other. He truly did not want his Great Boss to divorce Ruan Su, but as an outsider, he knew his place and kept his thoughts to himself. "Miss Ruan, you signed a prenuptial agreement when you married Director Bo, remember?" he asked. "Of course. His wealth is none of my concern. I will not receive any money from the divorce," Ruan Su replied with a smile, clearly understanding the implication behind Bo Xingzhi's assistant's words. "Rest assured, I am not the type to bite off more than I can chew." Their marriage had been one of convenience, each taking what they needed. Now, parting ways was the natural course of action. She was not the kind of woman who could not survive without Bo Xingzhi. After exiting the cafe, Ruan Su headed directly to Jing Bay Villa, a residence arranged for her by Jiang Xinyu. Situated a bit away from the bustling market and close to the riverbank, Jing Bay Villa offered a serene retreat. Upon her arrival, several men in black bowed respectfully. Ruan Su acknowledged them with a nod and entered. Jiang Xinyu greeted her eagerly, saying, "Boss." "I am divorced," Ruan Su said with a smile, her stunningly aloof beauty making hearts skip a beat. She settled onto the sofa and opened a laptop on the coffee table. Her nimble fingers moved across the keyboard as she hacked into the traffic system, erasing all traces of her journey from the surveillance footage. Once finished, she looked up to find Jiang Xinyu still gazing at her, dumbstruck.
"You know exactly why I got married," Ruan Su said, beckoning him with her hand. "Now stop dawdling and bring me the latest sales report." Jiang Xinyu was a tall, handsome man with an air completely different from Bo Xingzhi. One exuded a cold, enigmatic aura, while the other radiated warmth and integrity. For years, he had been Ruan Su's right-hand man. Ruan Su did not have to wait long. Within minutes, Jiang Xinyu placed a document in front of her, and she began to review it intently. Jiang Xinyu was still reeling. "Come on, boss, your husband is Bo Xingzhi, the heartthrob pilot of South Star Airline and the CEO of Bo's Group. Bo Xingzhi has unbelievable looks. Are you sure you're ready to let him go?" Ruan Su looked up, her gaze cool and detached as she glanced at Jiang Xinyu. "If you do not stop babbling, I will feed you to the sharks." The nearly six-foot man instantly fell silent. Nobody dared to cross the woman before him. The consequences were too great. Ten minutes later, Ruan Su handed the document back to Jiang Xinyu. "Sales are up 10% from last quarter, 5% higher than my projections." "It is all thanks to your leadership," Jiang Xinyu said, abandoning his usual CEO composure for overt flattery. Ruan Su gave him a measured look. "Enough talk. I am going to bed." "You are not going back?" Jiang Xinyu asked, puzzled. "The divorce papers are signed. What reason do I have to go back?" Ruan Su said, looking down at Jiang Xinyu as if he were a simpleton as she stood tall on the staircase.
