She clutched the invitation card in her hands, her large eyes fixed unwaveringly on Bo Xingzhi. If Bo Xingzhi agreed to attend her birthday party, her standing within Bo's Entertainment was sure to skyrocket. "Accept it," Bo Xingzhi said, glancing back at the woman contentedly eating her noodles. For reasons unknown, he found himself consenting. Mr. Steward reluctantly took the invitation, though he was inwardly displeased. This woman seemed so unrefined. How could she compare to the radiant beauty of a lady of the house? How had the young master become entangled with such a woman? She was practically an open book with her emotions. "Thank you, Director Bo. I'll be waiting," Wang Xinya said, her gaze briefly scanning the shoe cabinet at the entryway where several pairs of women's shoes from international brands were displayed. The rumors of Bo Xingzhi having a secret wife appeared to be true. Yet, as she lingered at the door, she wondered why this woman had not made an appearance. Was she not at home, or was she simply choosing to stay out of sight? She assumed that any woman married to Bo Xingzhi would not be able to remain composed knowing another woman was seeking him out, but she had miscalculated. Ruan Su was the epitome of composure. She had polished off a scallion pancake, devoured the noodles in her bowl, and even sipped the last of the soup. After placing her bowl in the kitchen, she ascended the stairs and casually reminded Bo Xingzhi, "Honey, don't forget to wash the bowl later." She commanded the CEO with such ease. Wang Xinya, upon hearing the woman's melodious voice, craned her neck only to catch a glimpse of an elegant silhouette. The woman's tall frame was draped in silk loungewear, and even from behind, she exuded grace and beauty. What was more astonishing was her audacity to instruct Bo Xingzhi to do the dishes. Director Bo was revered as an untouchable, decisive, and ruthlessly cold CEO in the eyes of many, yet here he was, agreeably performing such domestic chores at home. While Wang Xinya stood there, taken aback, the striking man before her simply responded with a soft, "Of course, my wife." He looked up at Wang Xinya again. "Sorry, I need to wash the dishes. Do you need anything else?"
Wang Xinya's eyes widened in disbelief. "No, nothing else." Bo Xingzhi extended his well-defined fingers to roll up his sleeves, then turned and headed into the kitchen. Shortly after, the sound of running water echoed through the space. Wang Xinya could not even recall how she left River Pine Villa. Bo Xingzhi actually did the dishes at home. The thought of a woman who could get Bo Xingzhi to wash dishes made her incredibly jealous. Once in the car, her manager noticed Wang Xinya's distraught look and asked with concern, "Wasn't it delivered?" "It was," Wang Xinya sighed. "Then why the long face?" the manager asked, blinking in confusion. "He..." Wang Xinya shook her head, deciding against sharing. She doubted anyone would believe her anyway. She was still questioning whether she had misheard. Could a man like him actually do the dishes? After doing the dishes, Bo Xingzhi's noodles had clumped together, but he did not seem to care. He finished his bowl of noodles and two pancakes before heading upstairs. Glancing at the clock, it was already well into the afternoon. Bo Xingzhi went upstairs to change. "Join me for a flight tonight." Ruan Su was taken aback. But upon seeing his expression, she quickly smiled warmly. "Of course. I'd follow my husband anywhere, through thick and thin."
