C11 Planning for Dinna

We arrived home Six P.M and emptied the car of all what we bought. Chira jumped up immediately she came out of the car.

"Chira, what's wrong?" Dinna asked looking intensely at Chira.

"I'm just happy Mama." Chira replied Dinna smiling and I laughed.

"Okay." Dinna said looking at Chira before turning to look at me.

We took the things we bought from the market into the house as I counted all the things. I followed Dinna to the kitchen where she started placing all the food ingredients in their appropriate places.

I went out to the living room where I saw Chira sitting on one of the chairs. I walked to her back and tapped her on the arm. Chira jerked her hand immediately I touched her and she turned her face to the other side. I noticed that she was asleep so I walked to her front and carried her on my arm. I took her to her room and laid her on the bed to sleep.

I turned to leave the room after placing her on the bed to sleep.

"Papa." I could hear Chira say in her sleep.

I turned to face her and saw her as she turned to face the other side to continue with her sleep.

I smiled at her then turned to walk out of the door.

I walked to the door slowly in order not to disturb Chira's sleep.

I opened the door slightly and closed it then I walked to my room to join my wife in the room knowing that she would be in the room.

Dinna POV

I was placing somethings in their appropriate places in the room when Dolo walks into the room smiling.

"Why are you smiling?" I asked Dolo smiling at him.

"I'm so happy today." Dolo said as he walked close to me and wrapped his hand on my waist.

I looked at him and smiled.

"Where is Chira?" I asked.

"She is in her room sleeping." Dolo replied me.

"Okay." I said then turned to leave the room.

"Where do you think you are going?" Dolo said and I turned to look at him.

"Prepare our meal for tonight." I replying him.

Dolo walked to me and put his hand around my waist and kissed me intensely.

After some minutes of kissing, he looked straight into my eyes.

"Okay. You can go." Dolo said releasing my waist and I smiled.

He left the way for me to pass.

He walked to the bed and sat on it. I looked at him and smiled before turning to leave the room.

Walking towards the door, I heard Dolo say, "Hold on."

I stood still by the door side.

"I would be getting a house help tomorrow." He said and I turned to look at him.

"Why?" I asked.

"You don't want an help." Dolo said as he looked at me.

"That's not what I mean." I said to him.

"Then what do you mean?" He asked adjusting his position.

"I just like being busy." I said replying him.

"Would you mind getting a job?" Dolo asked.

"Yes." I replied him.

"I spoke with my boss about it and...." He was saying.

"You didn't discuss with me first." I said with a frown on my face.

"I am sorry love. I wanted to ask for it before I tell you." He said to me and I nodded my head.

"Okay. I should first go prepare our evening meal." I said then opened the door to go out.

I walked to the kitchen with a frown plastered on my face.

"Why did he do it?. Why did he have to ask his boss for it?. What if I don't meet up to his boss expectation?" I asked myself as I walked into the kitchen.

I put on the warmer and warmed the rice which I had prepared in the afternoon then boiled some beefs and eggs. I put off the warmer and boiler some minutes later and tasted a beef. Satisfied with what I did, I closed each pots and then went back to my room.

"My love." Dolo said as he stood up from the bed and walked close to me.

"I am tired." I said frig tiredness.

"Okay." Dolo said moving aside for me to lay on the bed.

I needed time to think about what Dolo said so I had to feign tiredness.

I laid on the bed with my face turned to the wall. I could hear Dolo say, "She is tired." then he left the room.

Chira POV

I woke up and sat up the bed. I turned around to look at the bed, I smiled realizing that my Dad brought me to the room since I can remember that I sat in the living room sleeping and I could also see a note beside me saying PAPA LOVES YOU. I stood up from the bed and yawned before walking to the door. I opened the door and walked to the toilet then went to the living room where I saw my Papa sitting on a chair and reading a book. I walked to Papa and hugging him.

"Where is Mama?" I asked.

"In the room." Papa answered me and I went to sit on another chair.

Mama came out some minutes later and walked to Papa's back. She whispered some words into his ear and he smiled nodding his head.

"Okay Chira." My Papa said standing up and I looked at him.

They both went into their room.

I took out one of my video game and started playing it as I giggled.

"Wow." I said when I lost a round.

I still kept playing the game as I laughed as I was winning in the game.

Mama came out after some minutes smiling.

I stood up immediately I saw her step outside.

"Mama, where is Papa?" I asked Mama.

"He is coming." Mama said and I smiled.

Few minutes later, Papa came out smiling and I joined in smiling.

"Chira, I have a question for you." Papa said and I nodded my head.

"Do you want your Mom to start working?" Papa asked.

"Yes Papa." I answered.

"If I may ask why?" Mama asked.

"Because I noticed you feel lonely." I said and Mama smiled.

"Okay. Now to the tough question." Papa said and I looked at him.

"Nothing is tough for me." I said and Papa smiled.

"Would you accept an house help?" Papa asked and I looked at him.

"Yes Papa." I said and Mama laughed.

"Settled." Papa said smiling.

Mama walked to me and hugged me.
