C13 Happy for her

It's been two weeks already, Chira has gone to school. I'm at home preparing for work. I Have already seen where I'm to start working, the place is a nice place where they deliver orders to people who are in need of specific things. I will start working tomorrow and I'm happy for this. I have asked of the company from so many people who I think should know about the company because I needed more information about the company. I will do everything to make the owner of the company happy to have me as one of their employee.

Dolo POV

I am so happy today because my wife would start working very soon and she had told me that she's very happy that she will start working because that has been her desire to start working. She doesn't like being idle doing nothing at home.

She had already prepared for the picnic we would be having next month and the preparation had been great.

I entered MITE DAILY INDUSTRY today happy. Everybody knew that I was happy.

I entered my office and immediately my boss called me on my phone.

"Hello." My boss said.

I was so happy when I heard my boss voice.

"Good morning sir." I said.

"How are you doing?" My Boss greeted.

"I'm fine sir." I replied.

"Alright, how is your family?" My Boss asked.

"They are fine." I replied.

"Great so what about your wife?" He asked.

" She's fine." I replied.

"Ok that's nice ." My boss said.

We spoke at length for 30 minutes before ending the call then I went to the production room where I saw my assistant giving orders on what should be done and what should not be done.

I felt happy and satisfied. I gave a smile of satisfaction.

I went to my assistant side and whispered into his ears.

" Are you tired ."I asked him.

"No sir." He replied.

"Ok then I'll be going to my office now but if you need anything you can use an alarm to notify me and you can also use an alarm if you are tired and I will come to pick up from where you stopped." I said

" Ok sir." My assistant said

"It's alright." I said to my assistant and left the production room.

I went to my office and immediately started filing the necessary documents. Some minutes later my phone rang and I Picked it and looked at the name of the caller. It was my lovely wife who was calling me.

"Hello love." I said.

"Hi dear." She replied.

I smiled realizing that she called me a word different from Love.

"Are you still there?" She asked after some minutes bringing me out of my thoughts.

"What.... What did you say?" I asked.

"Oh no forget about it." She said.

"No, what were you saying?" I asked again.

"I think I disturbed you. You are busy with work right?" She asked.

I looked up before replying her.

"Actually Yes but that is not my reason for not listening to you." I said.

"Okay then why weren't you listening to me?" Dinna asked.

"You called me dear." I said smiling and I could hear Dinna laughing out loud.

"I think I should continue calling you that." She said laughing and I joined laughing.

We spoke of different random things ranging from how her first day at work will look like to how our house help will be in the house.

We've gotten a house help. Our house help name is Tina. She is a beautiful lady, She is just a university graduate.

Chira helps her with some little things she could help her with.

At first Tina didn't want Chira helping her but when she saw how Chira really wanted to help after Three days of her stay in the house, she gave in. Today makes it the fifth day Tina is working with us and Chira had already given us her approval on Tina so we have no worry about Tina.

After some minutes of speaking on the phone, I dropped the phone on my table when the call ended and sniffled before returning to arranging the documents.

Some hours later, I left my office to the production room and told my assistant to take a break. My assistant left to the office after I collected some of the records from him.

Some minutes later, it's lunch time and I walked into my office and told my assistant to follow me down.

"But sir, I am not part of the officials." My assistant said.

"You would be one day." I said smiling.

He followed me to where officials are meant to eat but didn't sit down.

"Have your sit." I said looking at him.

"Thank you sir." He said before having his sit and I smiled looking at him before turning to look at the remaining officials who were sitted.

We talked a little before eating the meal that was set before us.

After our lunch period elapsed, we went to our various departments.

My assistant walked up to me.

"I'm very grateful sir." He said.

"For what exactly?" I asked.

"For making me have my meal with the officials." He said.

I smiled.

"Okay, No worries." I said as my assistant went into the production room to supervise.

Few hours later, we closed for the day.

We received many orders and sold many bread and cakes today. We realized a large amount of money. Some transferred into the department account, some gave cash.

It was splendid today.

We would be paying everyone working in our department Next week. Most Cash that is been paid, we put them into the bank account.

I give my assistant the cash to deposit in the department account anytime he is going home because he lives close to the company Bank.

I cleared up my drawer after my assistant had left the office. I locked the door to my office and went home where I saw Chira hopping outside. I smiled as I went to hug her.
