C17 Starting the day

The next morning I woke up before everyone in the house. I looked at the time on the wall clock in my room, it was five minutes to Six so Tina wouldn't be around by now.

I walked into the toilet to relief myself. I walked to the mirror in the room to look at myself as I switched on a little light which beamed. I looked into the mirror as I adored myself. I thought of all what happened the last night and smiled.

"Good morning my love." I heard Dolo's voice which startled me.

"Oh my gosh." I said placing my hand on my chest.

Dolo stood up from the bed and walked towards me.

"You startled me dear." I said and Dolo laughed.

"Why do you have to laugh?" I asked Dolo as I placed my head on his chest.

"Oh." Dolo sighed and used his hand to touch my hair.

I raised my head up and looked at Dolo.

"I think Tina would be around now." I said as I could hear some sounds in the living room.

"Yes I think so." Dolo said replying me.

"I need to go take my bath dear." I said and Dolo nodded his head.

"Alright you may go." Dolo said as I entered the place we do take our bath after undressing.

"Yeah." I said as I poured the water on my head.

After some minutes, I was done having my bath so I went to the room to dress up.

Dolo had towel on so he entered our bathing place immediately I came out of it.

I put on my dress and tighten my robe before leaving the room.

I met Tina in the living room staring at the wall.

"Good morning." I said making Tina look at me.

"Good morning mam." Tina said replying my greeting.

"Have you been to the room?" I asked her.

"No Mam." Tina replied me and turned her gaze to the wall.

"This was done by Chira." I said.

"I know. Chira prepared a drawing of this while I was around and told me that she wants to surprise you. But all the idea was hers, I didn't add or remove anything from what she planned." Tina said and I nodded my head opening my mouth.

"She is such a sweet child." Tina added.

"Yes that's why she is my Baby." I said and Tina smiled.

"Excuse me Mam." Tina said and went into Chira's room.

Minutes later Dolo walked out of the room with his bag and dropped it on a chair. He sat on another chair.

"So what about our baby." Dolo asked me.

"I would go check on her now." I said then went into Chira's room where I saw her dressed and talking to Tina.

I saw as Tina and Chira were laughing.

"The painting and coloring is good." I could hear Tina say to Chira as they laughed over what Tina said.

I walked back to the living room where Dolo was staying waiting for me.

Few minutes later, Tina walked out of the room.

"Good morning sir." Tina greeted my husband as she went to the kitchen.

"Papa!, Mama!!" Chira called as she ran to hug her Papa.

"How is my baby doing?" Dolo asked as he pecked Chira on the cheek.

"I'm fine Papa." Chira said as she left Dolo.

"Mama!" Chira called as she hugged me.

"My baby." I said as I hugged Chira.

Chira giggled.

"I need to go meet Tina." Chira said as she ran into the kitchen to meet Tina.

I followed her to the kitchen.

"Oh my Chira." Tina said as she hugged Chira.

"What do you want to make today?" Chira asked Tina and I could hear Chira laugh as Tina whispered some words into her ears.

Few minutes later, Chira walked into the living room with two flasks while Tina held a flask.

"Mama, this is for you." Chira said handing me a flask.

"Papa, this is for you." Chira said handing Dolo a flask.

"Thanks Baby." Dolo said.

Dolo looked at Chira.

"Where's your flask?" Dolo asked and Chira pointed to Tina.

"Oh, Okay." I said nodding my head.

I put my flask into my bag and carried it.

We waited some minutes more before leaving the house.

Chira POV

I went into my room some minutes after Papa and Mama had left the house. I returned to the living room and carried my bag on my back after putting my flask into my bag.

I looked at my room wall clock and jumped up.

"Really this is great." I said as I threw my hands up in the air.

Tina came running into the room as she thought something wrong happened.

"Chira, what's wrong?" She asked me.

"Nothing, I am just happy." I said as I looked at Tina making her smile as she hugged me.

Few minutes later, Tina looked at me.

"Alright, I think you should be going now." Tina said.

"Yes I think so." I said as we both went to the living room and I put on my bag and went to the door side.

"I would be going now." I said to Tina who gave me a blowing kiss making me laugh as I opened the door.

"Bye! See you later." Tina said as we waved each other.

I turned back to look at the road then turned to face Tina again as I waved to her.

Tina waved to me before closing the door and I turned towards the road and walked down the road as I kept thinking of the bond which I share with Tina.

"I don't want this to change. Tina has been a very good friend to me." I said to myself as I walked down the road.

Suddenly I saw a boy trying to cross the road. I looked at the boy and could observe that the boy was deaf. I ran to the boy and held his hand to cross.

The boy smiled and thanked me after we had crossed the road then we went our separate ways.
