C23 Family Visit

"Your Grandparents would be coming with your uncle." Dolo said making Chira smile.

"Yeah, I am going to see Grandma and Grandpa." Chira said as she help us in packing the things we had in the car into the house.

Minutes later, my phone rang and I picked it.

"Hello." I said into the phone smiling.

It was my brother calling me.

"We are out by your door step." My brother said and my heart leaped for Joy.

"I am coming." I said smiling as I looked at Dolo then at Chira.

"Who wants to meet with her uncle?" I asked jokingly as Chira jumped up and ran to me.

"I want to." Chira said as we walked to the door to open it.

"Welcome." Chira said as she hugged my brother.

She looked around and saw my parents and went to hug them.

"Grandpa, Grandma." Chira said as she hugged my parents.

"How are you, Chira?" They both asked as they cupped Chira's face.

Dolo walked out of the house and greeted my Parents.

"Welcome." Dolo said.

"Welcome son." My father said as he shooked hands with Dolo.

"This is nice." Chira said as she looked at Dolo.

"Says my little warrior." My Father said making Chira laugh.

"You may come in." I said as I pointed into the house.

My brother smiled looking at me then nodded his head.

My brother went close to Dolo and shooked his hand.

We all went into the house.

"Chira come here." My brother said and Chira went close to him.

My brother brought out a pack of sweet and handed it to Chira who clapped her hand after receiving it.

"Thank you Uncle." Chira said as she clapped her hands together.

Chira sat on a chair as she placed the package on the table. She later stood up and came to me with the pack of sweet on her hand.

"Mama, here is what I got." Chira said handling me the red pack of sweet.

I took the pack from her hand as I smiled. I stood up from where I was sitting and left to the kitchen where I brought out some cooked chicken. I came out with three plates and put on each plates two chicken each then went back to the kitchen and brought out six fish and placed two fish on each plates.

I gave a plate to my mother and another to my father. I gave the last plate to my brother. I went back into the kitchen and brought out a bottle of drink with three cups. When I got to the living room, I filled each cups with the drink in the bottle and gave each cups to my family.

"Thank you Dinna." My father said as he ate his fish.

I went to sit on a chair close to Dolo as I watched how my parents kept eating their food.

Some minutes after my parents were done eating what I placed at their front. My brother was also done eating what I put in his front and they drank the drink I placed at their front.

"Granny." Chira said looking at her Grandpa.

"Yes." My father said as he looked at Chira.

"You would sleep with Papa today while Mama and Grandma would sleep in my room with me." Chira said and my father looked at her.

"Why did you say that?" My father asked.

Chira looked at the ground then to my father.

"I think you shouldn't sleep on the mat today." Chira said and my father nodded his head.

"Uncle would also sleep with Papa and Grandpa." Chira said as she looked around.

"Alright my warrior." My Father said and Chira nodded her head smiling.

We spoke about other things as we laughed and smiled at every word we said.

Chira POV

"This is wonderful." I said as we went on laughing for thirty minutes.

Mama stood up after some minutes and went to the kitchen. I also stood up and followed my Mama to the kitchen.

Mama drew a stool close to herself and sat on it while I stood near her watching what she was doing.

Mama made some spring rolls and set them in six different plates.

We later carried the plates out as we set them on the table in the living room and went back to the kitchen to bring the remaining plates.

When we were done in bringing the plates of spring rolls out, I took my sit on a chair and Mama sat on another chair.

We all smiling to ourselves as we turned to the plates and took one plate each as we ate our spring rolls.

"This is delicious, Sister." Mama brother said making Mama smile.

"Thank you brother." Mama said as she smiled.

We kept eating the spring rolls until we were filled and we laid our heads on the back of our chairs to rest after drinking some water.

I felt excited as I looked at the ceiling.

Few minutes later I could hear Mama call me.

"Chira." I heard Mama call me.

"Yes Mama." I said as I looked at Mama.

"Would you like to tell us a story?" Mama asked and I nodded my head.

"Yes Mama." I said as I began to tell them the story about the world of ghost which Rishita told us when Zhan and I went to hear her tell us stories by the tree.

Mama brother hugged me when I made an end to the story.

"Alright, I feel sleepy now." Papa said standing up from the chair he sat on.

"You can come in." Papa said looking at Mama's brother.

"I don't feel sleepy. I would come in when I feel sleepy." Mama's brother said.

Papa looked at Grandpa.

"I would come in when I am ready." Grandpa said and Papa bowed his head down.

"Okay." Papa said and left to his room.

Minutes later, I felt sleepy and went to Mama.

"Good bye Mama." I said waving to Mama.

I waved Grandma, Uncle and Grandpa before going into my room to sleep.
