C27 The discussion

After eating our food, we spoke on random things and laughed at the things we spoke about.

"Papa, I want to play." Chira said to me.

"Baby, not now." I said looking at her.

"Then when, Papa?" Chira asked.

"Tomorrow." I said.

Chira looked at me then went to have her sit.

I looked at my wife father as he looked at Chira who folded her hands together frowning.

"Chira, I would love to play with you." Yichen said making Chira smile.

"Okay." Chira said as she stood up and went to Yichen.

Yichen stood up and went out with Chira.

I smiled when they went out and looked at Dinna. Dinna nodded her head while looking at me and I smiled.

"So who is going to talk?" Dinna father asked. "Should we all go out to join Chira and Yichen in playing?"

We all laughed as he made an end to his question.

"I think we should all talk." I said.

"About!" Dinna father said.

"About Chira." I said.

Dinna father looked at me then at Dinna.

"Okay." He said.

I looked down then at Dinna.

"Yichen said that Chira should be careful." I said.

"Yes." Dinna said.

I cleared my throat still looking at Dinna.

"I was worried." I said.

"For what reason ?" Dinna asked me.

"What if we die leaving her alone in this world, how would she leave?" I asked looking at my wife.

" She would live fine. The gods would protect her." Dinna mother said.

"My son, you don't have to think about death now. You would live to see your grandchildren from Chira just as I am seeing my granddaughter from Dinna." Dinna father said and I nodded my head.

"I believe so." I said.

"So it is." Dinna mother said and I nodded my head.

Dinna came close to me and embraced me.

"It is well." Dinna said and I nodded my head embracing her.

"Alright, let's speak on another thing or do you want us to go out to meet Chira and Yichen?" Dinna father asked.

"Um, I have something to say." Dinna mother said smiling and we all gave her our attention.

"Have a happy new year." Dinna mother said making us laugh.

"You too mom." Dinna said.

"I also want to talk about Chira education." Dinna mother said and we all looked at her.

"I don't think she should have many friends in school." She said.

"Why Mom?" Dinna asked.

"She has a great Destiny and when she has many friends it may destroy her destiny." Dinna mother said.

"Okay Mom." Dinna said looking at her mother.

"That's right, her destiny should not be tampered. The enemy can place their agents in different places in order to stop her destiny." Dinna father said and I nodded my head.

"Okay, how can we help her?" I asked.

"Monitor the friends she keeps."

Dinna father said.

"Yes." Dinna mother said.

"How do we do that?" I asked.

"Where is she schooling?" Dinna father asked me.

"Biyaka school." I said.

Dinna father smiled and nodded his head.

"Okay." He said.

"That's nice." Dinna mother said.

"You worked at Biyaka school before?" Dinna father asked.

"Yes." I answered.

"What was your work there if I may ask?" Dinna father asked me.

"I was a cleaner there." I said answering him.

"Okay. That's nice." Dinna father said.

"How?" I asked.

Dinna father smiled.

"You should have known many people." Dinna father said and I nodded my head.

"Use some of them." He said. "Let them monitor her."

I smiled immediately he said that and looked at Dinna. Dinna looked at me.

"Thank you father." I said and bowed my head down. "I know of a particular person I can use to keep an eye on Chira."

"Who is that?" He asked.

I told him of how Chira says she always go to a woman office and she asks of me anytime she sees Chira.

"That's nice." Dinna father said. "You can use her to monitor Chira but you need more than two people."

I put my hands on my jaw as I thought on what he said.

"Yes I know of some people but I would think about it." I said.

Dinna father nodded his head.

"That's very good." He said.

"Is there anything else?" He asked and we all shooked our head.

"Then let's go join Chira and Yichen outside." He said and we all stood up and went out.

Chira POV

Papa and Mama came out of the house with my Grandparents as I was playing with Uncle Yichen.

I kept running around as uncle Yichen felt tired.

"Uncle Yichen, hurry." I said.

"Chira, we've been playing for over thirty minutes now." Chira said.

"Yes." I said as I used my hands to clean the sweat beams that were dropping down my face.

"Chira." I heard Papa call me.

"Yes Papa." I said as I went to meet Papa.

"You are tired, won't you like to freshen up?" Papa asked and I nodded my head.

"I would Papa." I said as I looked at Uncle Yichen who was also sweating.

"Yichen." Papa called him.

"Yes." Uncle Yichen said.

"Go freshen up." My Papa said.

"Okay." He said.

We both walked into the house and he went into Papa and Mama room to have his bath while I went to the place I usually take my bath beside my room and freshened up.

I changed my cloth after freshening up and went to the living room.

Minutes after, Uncle Yichen came out of the room with a new cloth and walked over to sit on a chair.

"It was wonderful playing with you." Uncle Yichen said.

"That's how you should play with the child Aunty Ju will have for you." I said and Uncle Yichen laughed.

"Okay I need to rest." Uncle Yichen said closing his eyes as he sat on the chair.

"Okay." I said then stood up from where I was sitting.

I went into my room and thought on how my cousin from Uncle Yichen would look like.

I remembered Tima and Zhan as I thought on this.
