C5 The dinner date was cancelled.

"The drive to Arianna's place was a silence ride. Arianna pulled into her compound and parked at the parking lot. She right away stepped down from the car so did Camila.

Anna quickly brought out the things she had bought from the mall as they walked towards the front door.

Camila immediately pulled her handbag from her shoulder and drop it on the couch.

She then sat down and folded her arms on her chest and stared off into space, she was extremely vexed.

After dropping the things she had in her hands, Arianna served Camila a glass of juice to cooled her down a bit.

All this while, Arianna was in a puzzled state of mind, because Camilla isn't ready to talk. In as much as she wishes Camilla could just open up to her, she also felt wasn't right to persuade her.

She needed for Camilla to calm herself down first. But a part of her too wishes to know what actually happened at the Downey's mansion.

And seeing Camila lost in her own world and not willingly to say anything scares her to death.

Arianna flinched as she suddenly sat next to her and gripped her right hand given it a stroke gently.

Camila turned her gaze to Arianna's direction and grin at he briefly, before looking away without freeing herself from Anna's grip.

Anna blinks and hissed lightly, Camila can you please tell me what actually happened at the Downey's mansion?

She questioned, but just as Camilla tried to utter a word, Anna's cellphone rang inside her bag as a distraction. She glanced at Camila briefly and then shifting her gaze to where her phone was, she thusly stood up and went to answer the call.

And without looking at the caller's name she picked the call rapidly her gaze still fixed on Camila who apparently wasn't in her right mind but just her gaze shifted reflectively to nothing in particular.

Are you preparing for our dinner date tonight my love? Adrian retorted in a rush immediately Arianna answered the call.

Her brows rolled rapidly in astonishment. Oh my God, the date. She repeatedly repeated it in a whisper but Adrian heard it and pretended as if he heard nothing.

''I'm coming over to pick you up in less than an hour okay? He said and Arianna sadden. She has forgotten they have a date tonight, but can she go knowing truly well Camila also needs her at this moment.

No, I can't forsake my friend now. It would be a selfish act if I do so. She said within herself gloomily because she had already given Nanny Lina her words to take care of Camilla, she can't let her down.

''Arianna Valdez, are you there? Adrian asked when he didn't hear Anna's reply. Hearing him called out her full name brought her back to reality.

She didn't know what excuse to give to Adrian, apparently she was the one that suggested this whole dinner date so how can she back out.

She already might have bought the things she will need for her date but still doubts if she can fulfill it now, the thought of it saddened her.

''Is everything alright Arianna? Adrian asked when he didn't hear her response. I'm sorry love, but something happened, I can't make it to our dinner date Camila needs me now.

She's not doing well and I've also given Lina my words, I'm so sorry my love she stated calmly glancing at Camila who's tears keep coming.

Adrian was badly hurts at first, but since it concerns Camila, he accepted to cancel the date because he knew what she has been through.

''He and Arianna have been together for sometime, and has even visited Camila twice in jail so he immediately understood.

it's okay my dear, take care of her but remember you'll have to make up to me because you owe me one.

Arianna swiftly walked back to Camila as soon as she finished the call. She bent in front of her and lifted her chin up to look through her eyes.

I'm going to find a proof to send her to jail Anna. She killed my godfather so she has to pay.

Anna i need a solid proof that can send her to prison, and you have to help me revenge on my godfather.

What was he thinking? For you two to kill each other before he comes to his senses and about Agatha we will discuss about that later, but for now, go inside and take a nap until I finished cooking dinner.
