C1 Crescent Academy.

Clarissa POV

Summer afternoons are usually idealistic the way I see it, boring humid and the unbearable heat of the sticky sweat, usually lonely and quiet woods for any kind of crime you want to commit.

It’s the last day of summer break and I’m seated at my favorite spot in this entire territory of the New Crescent moon pack, already dreading the thought of back to that place called school.

Crescent Elite Academy being the most prestigious supernatural high school within the state, I have always hated that place despite its glorious reputation.

For me it serves as nothing but a constant reminder that I don’t belong here, among all those high rankers constant competition for hegemony among supernatural teenage students, the drama between the females, and the continuous influx of horn dogs lurking the school premises.

As the only scholarship student in that entire school I’m also the subject of their abuse and why not? I have nobody to defend me since I don’t even have parents and I’m wolf less according to them since I told no one I had my wolf since I was fourteen years old.

Before I forget, my name is Clarissa Rose Andrews Crimson, Daughter of late Alpha and Luna of the Crimson moon pack, I’m the only surviving member of my whole pack after an attack by the rogues was orchestrated by my uncle who wanted to overthrow my parents and become alpha.

I was able to escape only because my parents and entire pack dedicated themselves to protect and helped me escape. I’m currently a member of the New Crescent Moon pack who took me in after I accidentally crossed their border while trying to evade the rogues ten years ago.

Nobody knows who I truly am, since I concealed my identity completely the moment I got here, I told them Alpha my name was Ellie Jacob which were the names of my late parent’s wolves. Cliché but it’s the first thing that came to mind.

“Damn, I’ve been idling here for three hours?” I asked myself as I saw the time showing 4:08 PM, it’s almost dinner time and no one will spare anything for me if I don’t hurry back this instance.

With that thought in mind I scrambled to my feet and started the twenty minutes walk back to the Pack dining hall.
