C5 Date

Veronica's P.O.V

He took my hand in his.

,,Ready to go love?"

I was born ready!" I smiled, beaming with excitement to know where we were going. Felix led us outside and signaled to Nathaniel that we were ready to leave.

,,Which car would you like us to take, love?" He asked. I looked at the cars before making my decision.

,,How about the black Lamborghini?" I suggested. He nodded at me, the smile never leaving his face.

,,Great choice!" Nathaniel grabbed the keys and drove the car to us. Felix, being the gentleman he was, opened the door and helped me in. As soon as we were inside, Nathaniel started driving.

I watched as the sun set above us. The colours were changing from light blue to orange, to pink, and finally, darkness took over. The whole way Felix and I were sitting hand in hand, him refusing to tell me where we were going.

The anticipation was killing me. I needed to know what we were doing and where we were going and fast or else I might as well burst.

I had a bad day, but seeing him made everything worth it, all the worry, pain, and sadness disappeared the second I laid eyes on him. His gorgeous eyes, the way he looked in his tux, the way he looked at me, and all the love and respect radiating off of him made me forget my worries and smile. He was like medicine, healing all the bad from my life. I couldn't help, but be happy when I was around him. He was my moon, my stars, my sun, and everything in between, he was my world. I loved him more than I could ever imagine was possible.

,,We're here, love" He gently told me as he looked into my eyes . Nathaniel quickly got out of the driver's seat and opened the door for us. Felix put his hands over my eyes, not wanting to ruin the surprise, and led me outside. Once I stepped foot on the ground he removed his hands, revealing the beautiful place. He had taken me to a wooden dock, built over the sea. On the dock, there was a beautiful picnic table with a white tablecloth that had golden laces and a red ribbon, as well as a candle and some flowers. On the columns of the dock were hanging fairy lights, making the place look even more magical than it already was. I was so amazed at how much effort he put into this date that my eyes started watering. That or I was hormonal and pregnant. Once Felix saw my teary eyes he wrapped his arms around me for a hug and kissed my forehead.

,,I guess I don't have to ask if you like it" He smirked playfully. I pushed him lightly and smiled:

Thank you love!I truly appreciate this and everything you do for me! I love you so much!"

,,I love you too sweetheart, but you don't have to thank me. It's my pleasure to treat you like the queen that you are. Now, come on, let's sit!"He held my hand again and took me to the table. We sat only on one of the benches so we could be closer to each other.

Felix put his arm around me and we stared at the stars, which were now shining brightly over us. We talked about our dreams and wished upon the stars that they would come true. It was so peaceful and pretty. We snuggled for what felt like hours until he asked if I was hungry. When I said yes he clapped his hands and suddenly Nathaniel appeared with two caesar salads, a glass of red wine for Felix, a glass of orange juice for me, and two chicken steaks with mashed potatoes.

,,Wow! This date just keeps getting better!" I grinned as I looked at the food and then at the handsome man next to me. His smile grew even wider, which I didn't know was possible.

Once we finished our meal, we were handed a raspberry cheesecake that I downed in less than a minute.

,,The baby wanted something sweet" I shrugged with a sheepish smile, which caused Felix to burst into a fit of laughter.

,,Well you and the baby can have as much cheesecake as you desire." He winked, making me blush.

,,Love, tomorrow is the announcement. It starts at two pm, we will give a speech and then invite everyone to have brunch with us. I just wanted to make sure you were ready and in the loop." I wasn't, but I also wasn't about to ruin our night.

,,Don't worry about me! I'm sure everything will go great and all the people will be happy for us." I leaned over and kissed his cheek to reassure him I really was ready, even if I wasn't. He picked me up from the bench and sat me on his lap, then he started whispering a poem into my ear. I kissed him again and told him that I loved him, probably for the twentieth time tonight.

,,We should probably get going Felix, I'm exhausted." I whined. Pregnancy was already kicking my butt and I wasn't ever far along.

,,Of course, V!'' Once I sat in the car, I laid my head against his chest and fell asleep. When we arrived I felt a light and gentle kiss on my forehead before getting picked up and carried into the bedroom. I was too tired to get changed so I guess tomorrow it is.

Felix's P.O.V

Veronica fell asleep in the car so once we arrived I placed a gentle kiss on her forehead and carried her to our bedroom. She was too tired to change so I just took off her shoes and tiara and let her sleep in the dress. I got in the bathroom, which had a white bathtub, with a fluffy beige rug underneath, a plant, a toilet, a sink with two toothbrushes, toothpaste, a marble mirror, and a beige cupboard that held both our skin products. Who said men couldn't take care of their skin?

I hopped in the shower, turning on the warm water and letting it hit my skin. I didn't feel like taking a bath today, yet I still didn't want to go to bed without getting cleaned. Once I finished I wrapped my teal robe around my body and went back into the bedroom, putting on some gray sweatpants.

Veronica was still just snoozing away peacefully. She looked so pretty, so innocent. I just knew that the woman I loved, the one I wanted to spend the rest of my life with was right here next to me. There was something peaceful about sleeping next to the one you loved most.

Laying down on the bed, I snuggled closer to my girl, breathing in her scent.I looked over to her tummy and smiled.I was going to be a dad and a dang good one!
