C6 Announcement

Felix's P.O.V

I woke up around eight-thirty am as I had a few things to finish before the big announcement. Veronica was still sleeping peacefully next to me, I took some time to look at her, breathing in the sweet scent of her perfume. I placed a gentle kiss on her forehead, trying to stay in bed for as long as possible. Groaning, I get up, throwing on the first clothes I could reach for, and went to my office.

Veronica's P.O.V

When I woke up the bed was empty. I looked around, trying to see if Felix was here somewhere, only to realize I was still in my dress from last night. Suddenly feeling gross, I quickly rolled out of bed and went into the bathroom where I stripped out of my dress and turned on the shower, letting the warm water hit my skin. As I was shampooing my hair I couldn't help but let nerves creep inside of me. What if people didn't like the fact that we were expecting? What if someone tried to hurt me and our baby or use the opportunity to hurt Felix? I also still had no idea what Natalia's plans for me were, which only added to my stress. It seemed I couldn't forget her words as they continued running through my head.

I wrapped the towel around my body and dried my hair, then sprayed myself with some perfume and headed to the closet. I decided on a cute tight yellow dress that showed off the bump, which was barely starting to appear, looking like I just ate too much. I paired the dress with some beige flats and a white tiara. I looked at myself in the mirror, my eyes immediately wandering to my stomach, like they had been doing every time I walked past a mirror since I found out. The baby was about twelve weeks old now and there was barely anything but bloat, yet I couldn't help but smile every time. I had hoped and prayed for this baby for so long and now that it was finally a part of me I won't let anyone hurt it.

I put on some light makeup and went out on the balcony to eat my breakfast. Felix was already sitting at the table waiting for me, reading something on his phone.

,,Good morning beautiful!" He said and got up to pull the chair for me. I kissed him and sat down.

,,Morning! Love, why did you get up so early?" I wondered.

,,Just has a little bit of paperwork to finish for the cancellation of the trip." He explained.

I nodded and looked at the table. There were two glasses of orange juice, scrambled eggs and bacon, a bowl with grapes, watermelon, apples, and some oranges as well as some sweets. My mouth watered at the sight of all the food in front of me. I dug in eating the eggs and the bacon, following with some grapes before I wiped my mouth and asked Maddy to pick up the dirty plates.

,,How are you feeling?" Felix suddenly asked.

,,I'm fine. A little nervous about the announcement, but mostly fine."

,,Don't worry about it, you have me next to you, and as long as you do everything will be alright!" He smiled reassuringly. I was grateful every day that God paired me with such an amazing man.

,,Queen, it's time!" I heard Maddy yell. I breathed in and out and headed towards the gates of the throne room where everyone was anticipating to hear what we had to announce. Some looked nervous while others looked annoyed and ready to get things over with already. Felix took my hand, interwinding our fingers, and led me in. Everyone got up from their seats and bowed, showing their respect.

,,Raise!" He ordered, authority radiating off of him. ,,We have gathered you here today to tell you some very special news. Your queen and I are expecting! The baby will be born around April and we hope that you are just as excited as we are!" He finished. I smiled as I looked at everyone smiling and talking. It certainly went better than I thought. We walked down the staircase into the packed room, where a lot of our people started coming over to us and offering their congratulations.

After we got congratulated by everyone we sat down and had brunch. The table was so big, it covered the entire room with me and Felix sitting at the front, the other kings and queens, which came to celebrate, sat next to us on our right side and the people sat to our left. The kitchen staff had prepared fruits, snacks, treats, a few bottles of champagne, and juices. The day went by with talking, dancing, and lots of smiles.

,,Maddy, take everyone through the main exit and call the cleaning company, tell them to come over tomorrow!"

,,Yes Queen!"

,,The day was amazing! I had a lot of fun and I'm so happy that everyone is excited about the baby!" Natalia said as we were making our way to our bedrooms.

,,Thank you, mum! I also think it went by amazing!" I nodded and yawned.

,,Felix I'll go hop in the shower you can stay if you want!"

,,Go love, I'll be right there." I smiled at him and bowed at Natalia before closing the door behind me.

Natalia's P.O.V

,,Asher!" I called out. He rushed into the room, bowing his head. ,,I have a plan, I finally have a plan!"I smirked. ,,This will be Veronica's end!"
