C7 The plan

Natalia's P.O.V

,,I would always be by your side queen, no matter what you have decided, I'm in! What's the plan?" Asher asked.

,.Perfect! Then listen carefully!'' I warned him. ,,The king of Analo (Analou) is having some issues with the safety of the borders, once my son hears I will convince him to leave and that's when we will start our plan. Veronica will be kidnapped by one of our men. Then I will figure out a way to tell my son that she was off cheating. We will have our men takes some videos so we could have proof. Felix will for sure kick her out of the palace and I will once again be the only queen." I smiled to myself. Bye-bye Veronica!

,,But Queen, what if king Arnold doesn't seek help from king Felix? What if our king just sends some men to help and doesn't leave?

,,Don't worry Asher! Arnold isn't in a good relationship with anyone but my son so he is obligated to ask for help from him. As for your other concern, Felix already canceled one trip, he knows that if he keeps it up others will start to lose respect for him and call him weak. His reputation is important to him so therefore he will leave.

,,You are one smart queen!" Asher smirked.

Veronica's P.O.V

,,Felix!" I yelled.

,,Yes, love?"

,,I scheduled an appointment to see the baby tomorrow. I'm almost thirteen weeks so we will most likely find out the gender and you will get to hear the heartbeat for the first time." I smiled excitedly at the thought of his eyes lighting up as he looks at our baby.

,,Oh my god I can not wait! I'm so excited!" He kissed my cheek. ,,I have some letters to get through so I'll see you at dinner!" Felix sighed and left before I could object. Ever since I told him I was pregnant he forbade me from doing even the slightest bit of work so all I had was his company to entertain me and I was bored out of my mind lately. I understood the importance of his work and title, but I still couldn't help, but miss him every time he wasn't around, especially now when his mother was throwing me death threats left, right, and center.

I was just about to call my sister when Maddy came in.

,,Queen, queen Natalia is here, she wishes to enter!"

,,Let her in." I ordered, trying to compose myself, and got up to great her. Even if I didn't want to.

,,Hello Veronica! I haven't seen you in a bit, I even started to miss you."She pouted, mocking me.

,,Now, don't let your ego grow, I don't have time to waste on creatures like you. I was only stopping by to remind you to watch you back. Darling, your end is near" She got closer and put a hand to my belly. ,,Too bad that this little one is going with you! It didn't deserve it." She shrugged.

I felt tears start to build up. The second she mentioned my child was the second images of her dead body started spiraling in my head. The effect this woman had on me was crazy. Her words made my blood run cold, my heart stop beating and my whole body shake in fear. She had complete control over both my emotions and mind, she definitely knew what she was doing when it came to threats, intimidation, and manipulation.

,,Your threats mean nothing!"I yelled at her, finally building up the courage. Natalia looked like she had seen a ghost. She wasn't used to me talking back. ,,I have Felix by my side, who do you have? Asher? You're alone! Completely alone! Now leave this room and don't come back or else I won't be so nice and there's still a lot of things you could hear!" Did I regret talking back to her, yes, but would I do it again if it meant fighting for my family, yes. Although I felt like I was going to pass out I stood confidently in front of her, maintaining our eye contact.

,,Who. Do. You. Think. You are!" She was angry. Like very angry. I had definitely struck a nerve. ,,Don't you ever disrespect me again, especially since you hide behind my son. You are the one that is alone! You have no one! I will take everything you have! Just wait and see." She slapped me hard against the cheek. I stumbled backwards a little but otherwise stood my ground, at least until the door closed behind her. I don't know what got into me, but if I was terrified of her before, I was now petrified.
