C2 Fu Yicheng You Have No Heart

It took her two hours to return to the Fu family Villa.

Her mother-in-law was monitoring her closely, fearing that she would waste the Fu family's money. Even if she just wanted to buy food from the market, she had to apply to her mother-in-law. She never had any money with her.

So she had to walk back.

The moment she entered, she saw her mother-in-law busy preparing some fruits for Sun Sijing.

Fu Yicheng sat sideways, his smiling gaze fixed on Sun Sijing's slightly bulging abdomen. There was a gentleness on his face that she had never seen before.

They looked like a harmonious family.

She pushed the door open.

Her mother-in-law's smile collapsed. "You still have the nerve to come back? Jing, don't worry about her. I'll peel the fruits for you."

With a worried expression on her face, Sun Sijing held her waist and tried to stand up.

Fu Yicheng pressed her hand: "Sit here, and chat with mom."

He stood up, his tall, straight figure giving an oppressive feeling. "Wen Shishi, come with me."

They went to the second floor, where her and Fu Yicheng's bedroom was.

Unfortunately, one could count on one hand how many times Fu Yicheng has been here in the last four years. Most of the time, he was staying in the study.

After entering the room, he went to bed and lit a cigarette. With a cold voice, he said, "Tell me your terms."

Wen Shishi was stunned. "What?"

"How much money do you want to divorce me?" Fu Yicheng sneered, "Didn't you marry me for money?"

That phrase fell like a lightning bolt.

"I married you because …"

Because I've always liked you.

Wen Shishi wiped her tears. "It was because of Grandfather's last wish …"

"Enough!" Fu Yicheng aggressively extinguished the cigarette. "To enter into the Fu family, you used every means to please Grandfather and force me to marry you! Don't talk so much nonsense. Just say how much you want. Tell me a number, and from now on, we'll have nothing to do with each other."

Wen Shishi laughed bitterly when she heard that. "Is that how you've seen me all these years?"

"How else?" His voice was surprisingly cold. "Did you somehow marry me because you love me?

With a single sentence, her intention to confess was stuck in her throat.

Just like that, he erased all of her efforts over the years.

Wen Shishi shook her head and smiled bitterly, "Fu Yicheng, you have no heart."

"Whatever." Fu Yicheng tore off a cheque, signed it, and threw it to her: "Fill in the amount yourself. Tomorrow morning, come with me to sign the divorce agreement."

The paper fell at her feet.

Wen Shishi didn't pick it up.

"Is Sun Sijing so good that you have to divorce me?

Fu Yicheng was already heading for the door because he didn't want to stay with her for another minute. "At least she won't plot against me. And she's willing to give me a baby."

The door was slammed shut.

Wen Shishi slumped to the ground as if she had no spine.

Next to her was the check that was supposed to end her marriage, with Fu Yicheng's signature on it.

His writing was the same as his personality, direct and decisive.

She picked it up, tore it, and threw it out the window.

She curled herself in a small ball in the corner, trying to find some sense of security.

In fact, she understood in her heart.

Because she had no father and her mother died in childbirth, her uncles were the ones who raised her.

The bedroom door opened again.

Wen Shishi stopped crying, looking up expectantly.

Maybe Fu Yicheng would give her another chance, and they could even try in vitro fertilization. As long as she could stay with him, she was willing to do anything.

"Cousin, it's me."

Sun Sijing's voice shattered her last shred of hope.

Her heart sank.

She adjusted her breathing and watched Sun Sijing walking slowly into the room, supporting her waist. Her voice was indifferent as she said, "I have nothing to tell you. Please leave."

Sun Sijing said: "It was Yicheng who asked me to come up. He said this bedroom will be his and mine from now on. He'll marry me as soon as you get divorced."

Wen Shishi raised her head abruptly and looked at the woman in front of her in shock.

Her appearance was the one she knew, but her expression was that of a completely different person from the poor Sun Sijing before.

"Cousin, why are you surprised? It's not appropriate for you to be married to Yicheng. Whether it's family or education, you're not suitable. It's better to divorce early."

Wen Shishi was agitated. "Even if we're going to divorce, it's not your turn to lecture me!"

Sun Sijing smiled. "Cousin, did you know that your hysterical appearance really resembles that of a shrew, swearing in the slums?"

"Did you forget this shrew gave you the money to go abroad and learn to draw and play the piano?!"

"That's what you wanted. It's not like I held a knife to your neck to force you." Holding her waist, Sun Sijing walked slowly toward her. She lowered her voice and said, "Yicheng is so resolute. Rather than touch you, he preferred to stifle himself like this ..."

Wen Shishi paled instantly. Fu Yicheng had only touched her once since their marriage, and it was only two years ago when he was drunk.

After that, they never slept together again.

Not even mother-in-law knew that.

"Cousin, you can't keep Yicheng. If not me, it would be someone else, and in that case, why not give him to me? When the child is born, he will call you aunt." As if she thought of something funny, she covered her mouth and giggled. "Auntie, that title is too funny. I wonder if you still have your period now, cousin? It's been so long since you've been with a man, you must have amenorrhea …"

"Sun Sijing, shut up!"

Wen Shishi's blood was boiling with rage. She reached out to slap her.

In a second, the smile on Sun Sijing's face turned into a weeping look, and she threw herself on the ground, holding her hand. "Cousin! It's all my fault. Don't hit me in the stomach."

"Bang ~ ~ ~"

The bedroom door was kicked open.

Fu Yicheng stood at the door furiously, staring as if his gaze could drill a hole in her body.

Wen Shishi raised her hands and laughed out in anger.

So this was what happened.

She was so stupid, that she could even fall for such a melodramatic trap.

Sun Sijing clutched her abdomen, tears streaming down her face, "My belly hurts. Yicheng, save me, save our child …"

Her mother-in-law was rushing upstairs, the servants were screaming in panic, and Sun Sijing was crying; it was complete chaos.

In the end, the slap she didn't give landed on her own face.

Furious, her mother-in-law slapped her twice and smashed the bedside lamp on her head: "Bitch! If you dare to hurt my grandson, I'll beat you to death!"

She felt a sharp pain in her forehead, and blood dripped down her temples and into her eyes.

She stood there looking at Fu Yicheng, who was comforting Sun Sijing in his arms, and she felt as if a knife was stabbing her heart. "If I said I didn't push her, would you believe me?"

Fu Yicheng's answer was, "Are you worthy?"

Her aunt and uncle got divorced after a big quarrel, leaving behind their daughter, Sun Sijing. As for her second uncle, he was never married.

Because of this, she was full of guilt towards her two uncles.

Therefore, she put all her efforts into taking care of Sun Sijing.

Her family’s conditions were not good, and she didn’t have much money, but when Sun Sijing wanted to learn piano, she took four jobs on her own and bought her a piano.

After graduating from high school, she even gave up her admission to Beijing University and focused wholeheartedly on earning money. All this, only because Sun Sijing had said she wanted to leave the country after the college entrance exam.

Now, at her return, Sun Sijing had become an elite capable of assisting Fu Yicheng in his career. On the other hand, she was just an obsolete woman with only a high school education.
