C16 Chelsea

“I can’t believe we’re married,” I add as I seize hold Jason’s hand while looking down at our marriage license. “It seems so dreamlike.”

He squeezes my hand, “I’d prove to you how real it is if I wasn’t driving right now.”

I lean over the seat, “Later, you can show me,” I whispered throatily.

“Don’t tease me while I’m driving.”

I understand why mom eloped and married Virgil because now, I realize how it feels to love somebody so much that you can’t imagine your life without them.

Also, I understand what it feels like to love somebody so much that you’d do anything in your power to make them happy because that’s how I feel about Jason.

“We’re here,” Jason voices as he pulls into my mother’s driveway.

Together, we exit the car and walk into the house. Upon entering, I glance around, notice, mom, Virgil, John, Lori, Emily, and Kevin.

I’m unable to speak as I’m blown away by everybody being in the same room together. “Are we having a family reunion?” I ask as I find my voice.

Mom comes over to me, “I’m sorry, Chelsea.” She wraps her arms around me and cries into my shoulder, “I couldn’t stand the thought of losing you after I lost your father. It was beyond selfish of me to keep you from your father, but it terrified me that you’d choose him over me.”

I hug her tightly as I try to put myself in her shoes. If it were Jason and me, I’d probably be overpowered by rage, and that rage would interfere with me making the right decisions. Not only that, I definitely wouldn’t want a woman around my child doing my job. Not when I’m perfectly capable of doing it myself. “I love you, mom,” I confess to her honestly. “I forgive you.” It’s no sense for me to remain angry with her. Yes, we’ve had our problems, but at the end of the day, she is my mother. And, if it weren’t for her, I wouldn’t even be in this world.

Mom strolls toward Virgil, and he clothes her into a hug, “I’m also sorry, Chelsea, for uprooting your life without giving you time to adjust. After thinking about everything, I realize it was wrong of me to do so.”

I shake my head, “You have no reason to apologize, mom. There is nothing wrong with finding love and happiness and choosing to live your life.” I assure her.

I glance toward Lori and my father before looking at my mother, “You deserve to be happy, mom, and I’m glad you’ve finally found it.”

“That’s how Kevin feels about you,” She glances at Jason, then back toward me, “He made this happen.” She smiles as she gestures around the room. “Kevin wouldn’t stop until we’ve put aside our differences because he knew we were hurting you.”

Kevin stares at me, “What’s he doing here?”

I take my place beside Jason and wind my arm around him, “Jason and I got married.”

Rapidly, everybody stops what they’re doing and focuses their attention on Jason and me.

Mom observes the ring, “Does he make you happy, Chelsea?” Mom asks.

I rest my head on Jason’s chest, “He does.” I assure her.

Lori and John are still staring at Jason and me as if they couldn’t believe their ears.

After their shock wears off, Lori kisses Jason on his cheek,

“Congratulations.” She adds, smiling brightly. “Thank you,” she mouths to me. My dad rubs his fingers through his hair, “You have some explaining to do, Jason. Starting with how long you’ve known she was my daughter.” mom and Lori were best friends throughout high school. I’ve seen mom and Lori's pictures together in mom’s yearbook of them on the cheerleading squad. My mother had said she never kept in touch with anybody from school because life got in the way, and everybody had gone their separate ways.

“I’m not explaining shit,” Jason sneers.

I smack his chest playfully, “Play nice.” I suggest.

Kevin storms out of the room, and for some reason, I feel the urge to follow. Once again, I’m left feeling torn between the two.

I never believed Kevin when he admitted his love for me until now. Kevin made my family come together as one because he knew it would make me happy.

“I have to talk to him, Jason.” I plead, hoping he understands.

Jason and I just became husband and wife, and instead of celebrating our wedding night, I stand here, urging him to understand the reason for me to comfort another guy.

“Don’t.” He commands. I recognize the jealousy burning in his eyes. However, that doesn’t stop me.

As I attempt to walk away from Jason, he holds me tighter, “I have to, Jason. I can’t leave him hanging after everything.” I place my hand over Jason’s heart, “Please trust me.”

I realize he doesn’t want me to, but I don’t have a choice. Kevin is and always will be family. And I do love him. Kevin has comforted me plenty of times. Therefore I have to be there for him when he needs somebody.

Immediately, I pull from Jason and dart to Kevin’s bedroom. I spot him sitting on his bed, staring at the floor, “I’m sorry, Kevin.”

“Get out.” He hollers.

I ignore his demand and sit down next to him. Then I lean my head onto his shoulders, “I never believed you until you pulled my family together. Honestly, Kevin, I didn’t think you were capable of love.” I chuckle, “One day, you will find a girl that will love you as much you love her, and when you do, treat her right, and never let her go.”

“I thought that girl was you. And, here you’ve done ran off and married that motherfucker.” He stands and strides toward the window.

“I love him.” I state as I stand next to Kevin, “I followed my heart, and it led me to him.”

Kevin turns toward me, “Why couldn’t you love me?” He asks sadly.

I fold my arms around him, “I do love you, Kevin. But you were too busy fucking everything with a hole. Jason was there for me when I needed him the most.”

He folds his arms around me, “If you ever need me, I’ll be here, Sister.” I pull back and smack his shoulder.

“Promise, Brother?” I ask, smiling.

“Always.” He says.

He clutches my hand, “Even if you did choose him, we’re still family, and that will never change.”

I hear a thump and notice Jason is standing in the doorway. He rushes off as soon as I spot him. “Go,” Kevin says, nodding toward the door.

I rush off and attempt to catch Jason, but his legs are too fast for me.

“Jason,” I scream.

He ignores me and continues out to the car. As soon as he pops the locks, he jumps in.

I dart around to the passenger seat, “What’s your problem?”

“I stood there and watched my wife feel guilty for marrying me while confessing her love for another man.” He clenches the steering wheel tightly.

“Jason, you’ve got to stop.” I breathe. “I’m not gonna lie; I do love Kevin. But you need to understand that you’re the one I love and want to spend the rest of my life with. I wish you would believe me.”

“It’s hard to believe you when every time I turn around, you and Kevin seem too cozy.” He bangs the steering wheel, “He’s never going to let you go.”

I used to think Kevin irritated me, but he’s never frustrated as much as this man right here does, “You can’t let go of something you’ve never had.” I state. “Pull over,” I demand.

“Buckle up,” he declares.

“No. Pull over,” I speak louder.

Jason ignores me, so I climb out of my seat and unbuckle his pants. “It’s you that I want, Jason.” I clutch his penis in my hand and slowly jerk it.

“Chelsea,” he growls.

“I love you, Jason.” I lick circles around the head of his dick as I continue to jerk it.

Finally, he pulls over to the side of the road, “I’m going to fill your mouth up with my seed.”

“I want it all, Jason.” He wraps my hair around his hand and pushes my head down, causing me to take his cock deeper into my mouth.

“I’m so fucking jealous over you and him, Chelsea,” he grumbles.

I remove his cock from my mouth, “You have no reason to be jealous, Jason. I’ve told you numerous times; it’s you that I want.”

“Ride it.” He says as he lifts me onto his cock.

I moan as I slide down onto his erection, slowly filling me. I look into his eyes as I move my hips.

He thrusts his hips upward, “If you ever kiss him again, I’ll kill him.” My eyes widen as Jason attacks my tits.

He moves his hand between my legs and circles my clitoris, massaging it with enough pressure to bring me over the edge, “Right, there, Jason.” I scream out in pleasure.

“These are mine,” he says as he traces my lips with his fingers. “This is mine,” he says as he rubs my clit faster.

He slides his hand around to my ass, “And, soon, this will be mine.” He thrusts upward, violently, not leaving an inch of me untouched.

“Say it, Chelsea.” He commands.

“It’s yours, Jason. All yours.” I moan as the pleasure flows through my body.

I bury my face into his neck, “I’ll never make the same mistake twice, so you don’t have to worry about me doing anything.” I trace his lips, “You’ve put these on another bitch too, and you don’t hear me threatening to kill somebody.”

Jason grunts as he cums, “If you hadn’t kissed him, I wouldn’t have kissed her.” After he’s finished, I climb off him, and this time I buckle up.

I realize Jason kissed that bitch to make me jealous. And, it worked. But, how will we move on if we don’t let go of the past?

“If I could take it back, Jason, I would,” I say regretfully.

“Me too,” He says. “We’ll get through it, Chelsea,” he says as he twists my wedding ring.

I hope Jason is right. And, I hope Jason can learn to accept Kevin because he will always be a part of my life, whether he likes it or not.
