"Let us have a toast" Jeane suggested and pushed a glass of wine to Jeame, he took it and looked at her perplexed.
She demonstrated and drank her own, Jeame followed, she took the glass from him happily grinning, and exited the room.
She got into her room and called Lucy "Lucy, he drank the wine with the sleeping pill, is it in the Moon hall?" she inquired.
Jeame was listening to their phone conversation "yes, it is going to be there, are you going to let him drive, don't get into an accident" Lucy warned, feeling awkward.
"You shouldn't worry, the drug will have it effect after thirty minutes, am going to ask him to pull-over at Dones filling station, you guys gonna pick me up, have to tell, Dad, that I am going out
, I will hang up" Jeane assured.
"Fine" Lucy said, and she hung up.
"What did she say?" Sam asked, Lucy looked at the two guys with her, she taunted the both of them with a meaningful smile "what is with the smile Jack arched his eyebrows, feeling offended.
"Hey, you guys are too serious, she is coming" she finally said, all of them looked at each other.
Old man Bill had a call and he was on his way out "Dad!" she heard his granddaughter's voice, calling out for her.
He stopped and waited, Jeane appeared before her grandfather pretending to be exhausted, she exhaled rapidly "Grandpa, you look handsome, are you going out on a date?" she praised, he eyed her suspiciously.
"No, going out for board meeting" he responded, Jeane nodded thoughtfully "hard-working grandfather, I would love to have a stroll, Dad, my bodyguard will be coming with me" Jeane
stated, beaming.
The old man hesitated "you can go, but don't try escaping stunt, or, I will lock you in" he threatened, and quickly got in the car, opened up by his assistant.
Jeane bounced up happily, waved at her grandfather "tada" she mused, and turned around. She got in and saw Jeame well dressed, she was surprised.
"Are you going out?" she was shocked, he didn't say a word, she felt frustrated and demonstrated with her hands pointing at the door.
Jeame was confused "forget it, it is useless" she was infuriated, got into her room and dressed up, she came out to leave, Jeame followed her.
Grandpa Billy phone rang, he looked at the screen and was surprised, he quickly picked up the call, to satisfy his curiosity
"Brother Chin," he said quickly.
"Yes, are you surprised?" the voice at the other end, inquired, Grandpa Billy's palms became
sweaty.
"How di... yo.." he stuttered.
"How do I get out of jail? don't bother, big fishi don't remain in a pound, I am out for you, oh! how is Jeane?" the caller asked.
Grandpa Billy became agitated "she knows nothing about this, don'tget her involved" Grandpa Billy solicited, but the caller at the other end laughed loudly and hung up, Old man Billy's palms were sweaty and he fidgeted.
He called Caleb.
Both Jeane and Jeame got out of the house, they got close to her car, she threw the car keys to him nonchalantly, she wasn't expecting him to catch it.
Jeame caught it swiftly with a hand without ado "waooh!" she was amazed.
"Let's go" she got into the front seat, he took the driver's position.
Joseph and a young man about his age were in his game room, a snooker board before the two of them, they held their sticks, the balls arranged on the snooker's board.
"Are you truly going into a serious relationship with her?" Jay inquired, he just knocked a ball.
Joseph leaned on a high stool "of course, I do love this lady, and believe she will be the one for me" he affirmed.
His friend chuckled "Jo, you are kidding me, that is what you said about Gabriella, and you dumped her ass, hope you ain't being smart" Jay reminded, Joseph groanes unhappily.
"Gabriella was a boring girlfriend, she nags a lot, no fun, always complaining, Jo that, Jo this, it was hell putting up with her, and the sexual steaming sessions are boring, no exciting oral sex, some boring kiss and then intercourse, she isn't good," Jo said.
Jay failed to knock out a ball, Joseph took his stand "she isn't a pornstar" Jay cautioned chuckling, Joseph was about to reply but his phone rang.
He straightened up, moved the stick to his left hand Nd pulled out his phone, he grinned.
"Talking about the beautiful devil," he said. Jeame drove into a filling station on theinstruction of Jeane "ain't you feeling sleepy?" she asked.
Jeame didn't respond, she grumbled knowing he doesn't hear or speak.
"I am going to pick a stuff in there," she said and got out, she walked a few steps and looked back Jeame didn't follow, she exhaled.
She got into the building, Jeame reversed the car and drove off.
Sam was on the steering, Jack and Lucy were behind him "we are running late, Jeane isn't here, Lucy, why don't you put a call to your friend?" Jack questioned suggestively.
Just then, the view of Jeane surfaced in the windscreen "here she comes" Lucy cheered happily.
"Hey, Old man Bill, you have been calling me regularly, you have a job for me?" Caleb's voice asked from the other end, Bill frowned.
"Stop bullshitting me, Cal" he retorted.
"Wow, wow! Hold on, I am still your man, what is with the aggression?" he inquired.
"I just received a threat from Chin on my granddaughter, he wants to get revenge" he
explained, Caleb was silent momentary. "That ain't good, you owe the drug man?" Caleb asked.
"I don't, just outsmarted him, are you sure your man is going to secure my daughter?" He asked.
