C3 You Are My Father

Five years later.

At the British airport, Xia Xingcheng stared at the two return tickets in her hands, unable to focus for a long time.

She had been in this country for five years and still hadn't made even one phone call to her family.

Her father treated her like she was dead and as if he couldn't care less about her. If it wasn't for the engagement between Xia Xingyan and Xu Hao, he might not have even remembered of her existence.

Her heart had no attachment to that place that she had been separated from for years. All her feelings were erased on that night she was thrown out.

She didn't want to come back and see the people who had hurt her, but she couldn't stand listening to her father's threats on the phone.

If she did not obey his orders, he could attack her elderly grandmother at any time.

Her grandmother was the closest person in the world to her. She had wanted to send her abroad to spend the rest of her life there, but she couldn't sway the old lady's desire to be with her dead husband and daughter. She had no choice but to obey her.

If it wasn't for her grandmother, she probably wouldn't want to come back for the rest of her life, but she couldn't afford to lose her to that old man.

"Mommy, Mommy."

Just as she was lost in her thoughts, she suddenly heard a gentle and lovely voice from beside her.

She looked down and saw a four year old boy lightly tugging at the corner of her clothes. He reminded her in a serious tone, "Stop daydreaming. The plane is about to take off."

Only then did Xia Xingcheng recover her wits. The anger in her eyes gradually softened as she smiled and picked up the child. "Alright then, let's go to the boarding gate."

At the same time, on the other side of the VIP entrance, a tall man in a suit with two burly bodyguards behind him was striding towards the boarding gate with a cold expression.

Xia Xingcheng had bought first-class tickets. In the past few years, she has suffered a lot from wandering in a foreign country, and had developed many issues.

She always had bad insomnia and headaches so she was afraid of noise. The moment she got on the plane, she covered her eyes with a blanket, preparing to try to sleep. But before she did, she specifically told Xiaobao to be good and not run around.

Xiaobao was this boy's nickname and just like his nickname, he was her most precious treasure.

The little boy was very obedient. As instructed, he sat on his seat and played with the toy his Mommy bought him, occasionally stealing glances at her.

Xia Xingcheng laid at the side. He soon noticed that she did not look well.

"Mommy." He leaned against the chair and looked at her. Seeing that she was frowning, he asked worriedly, "Are you not feeling well?"

Xia Xingcheng couldn't help but cough twice due to the itch in her throat. With a hint of weakness in her voice, she answered, "I'm fine …"

After she said this, she looked at the child and forced a smile, "I'm just a little thirsty."

Without waiting for her to say anything, Xiaobao had already turned around and excitedly gone to get her some water.

She didn't know who this child took after. He was clearly only four years old, yet he was as sensible as a small adult, and could even take care of her.

Xiaobao ran over with a glass of water. However, just as he reached the cabin door, he bumped into a man who had just stepped into the plane. The glass in his hand wobbled, and the water spilled from it, wetting his shoes and the legs of his trousers.

Sheng Yeting lowered his head and looked at the water stains on his body. He instantly frowned in displeasure, "What are you doing? Don't you know how to watch where you're going?"

"I'm sorry, I was careless." Xiaobao had to hold the cup and apologize repeatedly. When he raised his head and saw the other party's appearance, he was immediately stunned, "I …"

He was a big man, with thick, strong shoulders, just as he imagined his father to be.

His lips quivered. The more he looked at Sheng Yeting, the more he felt that the man in front of him was exceptionally familiar. He was stunned for two seconds, then excitedly hugged Sheng Yeting's leg and shouted, "Daddy!"

The two bodyguards behind Sheng Yeting were completely shocked by the scene in front of them. The two of them had been with each other for so long, but it was their first time seeing someone so intimate with Sheng Yeting, not to mention someone so young.

Sheng Yeting's expression instantly turned ugly. He reached out his hand to push the little hand that was hugging him away and said coldly, "Don't randomly call people your father. I'm not your father."

He had seen many women who claimed to be pregnant with his children, but this was the first time he had ever seen such a clever and obedient 'son'.

Xiaobao stared at his face and answered with certainty, "You are my dad, why did you abandon me and Mommy …"

The more he said, the more he felt wronged. He pouted his small mouth and put on a pitiful look.

When the passengers beside them heard this, they immediately looked over in curiosity.

Xia Xingcheng could no longer sleep after the commotion. She opened her eyes and looked in the direction of the noise, only to find her son standing in the middle of the crowd, holding onto the leg of an unfamiliar man.

"Sorry, sorry." She quickly got up and walked in front of him. Embarrassed, she reached out to pull the child's hand, "He must have made a mistake. Xiaobao, let go of him."

Strangely, her child had always been sensible and obedient, listening to her words more than anyone else's.

But today, Xia Xingcheng didn't know what was going on. No matter how she tried to persuade him, Xiaobao continued to hold onto the leg of that strange man's pants. He bit his lips in frustration and refused to let go.

Sheng Yeting was a cold person. However, when he looked at the child's pitiful appearance, he felt a bit burdened.

He frowned as he couldn't help but say to Xia Xingcheng, "How did you become a mother? Since you can't give him a complete family, it would have been better to not give birth to him at all."
