C8 A New threat emerges

Elijah tries to calm his nerves has he was getting worried, he is almost done doing so when a fist connects with his jaw and breaks his line of concentration, Elijah steps back a bit and is about to move forward to where the fist had come out from when he was met with another fist to his side from the left, Elijah grabs his groin and is about to kick in that direction when he is greeted with a barrage of punches from every angle in the thick darkness around him, Elijah falls to the ground and coughs a bit has he held on to his groin

PAIMON : What’s the matter, oh great chosen one, why do you crawl on the earth like an animal??.... Where is all your cockiness now, ei ( the laughter around the darkness gets even more sinister has the sound echoed throughout the lonely abyss )

PAIMON : Huh, what are you saying to me, speak already..

Elijah clasps his hands and spreads his legs out slightly, he begins to grow brightly causing the sinister laugh of Paimon to die down

PAIMON : What are you doing?? ( he yells has he sends more punches at Elijah, but this time Elijah blocks them with ease has he kept his cool

ELIJAH : I can’t see anywhere in this darkness making it easy for him to hide in it and use it for sneak attacks, what a coward, In that case, I’ll just have to even things up ( muttering to himself has he began to shine even brighter than he was before)…. Heavenly art : Rays of infinite radiation

A bright light comes out of Elijah and immediately expands like an explosion has it began to erase the thick darkness that had enveloped him at the spot he stood, Paimon is blinded by the light has it became to intense for him to look directly at, before he can regain himself a fist connects with his jaw sending him flying a few meters away

Paimon rushes towards Elijah and both men continue their battle with renewed vigor, both men keep on exchanging blows with Elijah keeping pace with Paimon and his onslaught, Paimon tries to punch Elijah but success in hitting the ground causing a crater with Elijah going behind him and connecting with his side using his feet, Paimon is seen struggling to get back to his feet has he begins to crawl away with Elijah following closely behind

PAIMON No, not yet… it can’t end like this, I won’t defeated by a mere mortal!!!!

Paimon turns to face Elijah but is greeted with a close range attack has Elijah moves towards him with immense speed and connects the ball in his right hand with Paimon’s guts, The attack is massive has it sends a huge amount of energy through Paimon and destroys the earth behind him with Paimon screaming at the impact and immense pain caused by the attack having a direct hit

ELIJAH : I guess in the end it didn’t really matter that you were an earl, although I should thank you for underestimating me so greatly

Elijah pulls his hand from Paimon to reveal a large hole at the area his attack had connected with Paimon, Paimon coughs and falls head first into the ground has his body began to turn to dust

Elijah stops in his tracks has he heard the voice and turns to see who had spoken

A dark figure drops down not too far from where Elijah stood, when the figure arose Elijah could finally make out its physical appearance; the figure was quite humanoid with a few alterations like having a horn protruding from the middle of his forehead, also there were horns protruding out of his elbows with his skin having tiny bumps throughout, his irises where red, his nails seemed like those of a wild beast with a wicked smile on his face…

UNKNOWN FIGURE : My name is Draco, I am a member of the NAMED

ELIJAH : Draco??... I don’t think I know you and what the hell is the Named??

DRACO : Oh you do know me, I go by another name actually, The Dragon of Christian lore, the one who pulled down a third of the heavens, ring any bells yet??

More explosions has the battle raged on more intensely, the church seems to have been covered on all sides by large concrete walls has the Holy knights seems to have rejoined the action seeing that the chosen were having a field day with the demon army; Diane mauls through the army with relentless force, wielding two icicles which she used like blades to cut down demons that stood in her path, the battle had spread a wide area in front of the church, the area spanning a small city even…

The demon army is beaten back to the point of their generals having to consider retreating, but soon enough the battle comes to a halt at the appearance of a darkness in the sky, it took the shape of a dark cloud before finally parting to reveal a portal within it, an object falls out from the portal and lands but too far from where the chosen had rallied, soon enough they realize that it was not an object that had fallen at all but the lifeless body of Elijah with hole where his heart was supposed to be, the chosen are awe struck at the sight of their vice captain laying lifeless on the ground with the Holy knights trembling in fear, before anyone can speak another object comes out from the portal but that soon turns out to be Draco flying above them with his dragon wings outstretched at full length.
