C7 7

As she entered the school compound with Eleanor going to see her off at her class she attended all the classes with ease.

It was odd because she was expecting a ridicule or something but seemed everyone was minding their business today even those whom she saw take videos of her last week no one made a sound like the school was normal today and it was weird.

“Did something happen” she managed to ask a student who just shrugged and left with the speed of light.

“I guess today is a day of grace for me then” she commented to Elle who also seemed to be in total confusion.

“Don’t hold your breath for too long he just arrived the canteen” Elle said and when Celine turned she saw Roland enter with his minions following behind him as usual. As if they did not have a life of theirs.

“Oh my god he is coming this way, I thought today was my day of grace” Celine said as she was expecting a bowl of mash potatoes and sauce thrown her way or maybe her hair pulled and rumpled but no, Roland asked her to shift because he wanted to sit on her table with Eleanor.

This was more frustrating and confusing because this section of the canteen was considered the forbidden section for the rich as they had divided it with this popular rich kids and cheerleaders from the nerds and Eleanor and Celine and a few others where Nerds.

“What do you want Banks?” Eleanor blurted out as everyone at the canteen was just waiting for the drama to unfold as usual but it didn’t happen his minions where as confused as everyone else.

And the girls on the cheerleader team especially their leader Avery who had been planning to have him sit by her so she would ask him out for their graduation dance.

“I am not here for you Steel, Black hope you are doing well today?” he asked.

“Ye…Yes I am fine thank you” Celine stammered.

“I came to invite you at my house for the graduation party I would be having and you can bring Miss Steel over here if she wants” he said and handed her an envelope before he left leaving all on the table dumbfounded not knowing what to say.

Celine squealed happily, Eleanor used her palms to cover her ears to block the noise.

"Did you see that Elle? He invited me over to his place for the party! I got an invite." Celine said excitedly.

"I'm not blind Cece, I saw him." Eleanor said.

"What do you think about that uhn?" Celine asked.

"About what?"

"The invite?"

"I think it's a bad idea, a very bad one CeCe."

"You're joking right?"

"No."

Celine was confused, Roland was paying attention to her and gave her an invite personally in front of everyone which meant he wanted her there and he liked her but Eleanor was against her going?

"Elle? Is there something you're not telling me?" Celine asked.

"What do you mean?" Eleanor asked, confused.

"Roland invited me to the graduation party at his house and you don't think I should go?"

"Exactly."

"Why?"

"What do you mean by why Cece? It's obvious that his intentions aren't pure." Eleanor said.

"How, you're overthinking this Elle."

"Of course I'm not CeCe, it's just too good to be true, just few days ago he made your life a living hell and today he's inviting you to a party personally? I think he had ulterior motives." Eleanor explained.

"Like what?" Celine asked.

"I don't know, I'm not him."

"Exactly, you're not him and I want to believe the best if you, who knows? He might have had a change of mind and realized the way he's treating me is wrong, maybe this invite is a form of apology for all he did and remember you were the one who told him you saw signs that he likes me." Celine reminded.

"I know I said that Cece but he seems too good to be true, I think he's just doing all these just to get you to love him more better and never get over him." Eleanor said.

"I don't think so, are you saying he doesn't like me a bit?" Celine asked.

"Don't get me wrong CeCe, he does like you, he's beginning to, I'm just scared he might try some tricks on you." Eleanor said.

"I understand your worries Elle which is why you're coming along with me."

"Why?"

"Because whatever he's up to, I know you care alot about me and you'd always have my back, you'll be there to protect me all the way."

"CeCe."

"Say you'll come with me please." Celine cooed.

Eleanor gave in, she knew she could refuse her best friend.

"Okay, but you'll have to do as I say." Eleanor warned.

"Deal!" Celine replied, she was happy her dreams were materializing, she would have the best graduation party ever and who knows? Probably he'd confess his love to her right there, this made butterflies flutter in her belly, she looked forward to the party and wished it came soonest.

"You look like you just won a lottery." Eleanor remarked.

"A lottery? That would be an understatement, I'm going out to a private date with the boy of my dreams!" Celine drawled.

Eleanor chuckled.

"It's not a date Cece, all he did was invite you for a party at his house and it definitely isn't private, lot of students would be there too." Eleanor corrected.

"Oh Elle, don't be such a killjoy, imagine the scene, Roland and I; under the bright moonlight, he'd finally apologise to me for all the pain he has caused me and probably explain his reasons behind such actions which would be him fearing that he is in love with me and that now he is sure he's madly in love with me, then we'll kiss and our relationship will be strong and in few years time, we'll get married and give birth to the cutest kids on this planet." Celine said dreamily.

Eleanor chuckled.

"Sure you will." Eleanor said
