C2 Hiring A New Nanny

"How dare she call me grumpy" I muttered in anger.

"Calm down bro just think of what she said as nothing" Tom said.

"I'll make sure I teach her a lesson the next time I see her"

The car drove into the mansion and parked in the garage.

The maids rushed out and lined up.

"Welcome back masters!!" They bowed and greeted. I walked inside without replying while Tom was waving at them.

I walked straight to my room and sighed softly.

"I really need a bath" I muttered and entered inside the bathroom.

I had a quick bath then I changed into a casual wear.

The door opened and Tom came in.

"Yo bro! Mom's arrived" he said and we both walked out.

"Look at my cute babies" she said as we descended the stairs then she hugged us.

"Mom we are no longer babies, we are grown ups now" I said.

"To me, the both of you are still my cute little babies" she said and Tom chuckled.

"Yes I am your baby forever" Tom said and hugged mum again.

"Yeah momma's boy".

We went to the dining and took our seats and the maids served the dishes.

I took a bite from the food and frowned.

"Who looked the food?" I asked and the maids stepped forward.

"We did sir" they said and bowed.

"Mom, what of nanny Amelia?"

"Well, nanny Amelia travelled a month ago to visit her children but don't worry; she said she has another lady who's very hard-working and you guys will like her food".

"We don't need another nanny" I said and left the dining.

Nanny Amelia has been our nanny ever since we were little and she loved us so much.

The door opened and mum walked in. I faced the window.

"Thomas" she called but I did not reply.

"Thomas my dear" she called and held my hand.

"I know it's hard for you guys to have another nanny, but doesn't worry, if you guys don't want another nanny then I'll be cooking for you guys" she said and I faced her.

"You don't need to mum, we'll hire another nanny because of you, but if she fails to do her job properly then she's fired".

"Alright" she replied and left the room.

"I'll make sure this new nanny doesn't last up to a month before she'll be fired".

Rachel's Pov

I got back home and I slumped on the bed. It's still morning and I have nothing to do.

Today doesn't seem to be a good day for me. Firstly, I lost my job then I almost got hit by a car. My mind flashed back to the guy.

"If I ever see him again, I'ma gonna teach him how to respect people".

I stared at the ceiling not knowing what to do.

"How do I get the money for Jackson surgery; My life is just a mess!!"

Tears welled up in my eyes as I remembered my brother.

"What am I gonna do?"

I was in my room and I was writing down the lyrics of a new song we're working on.

My phone's ringtone interrupted me and I checked the caller. A smile formed on my face as I picked the call.

"Hey Michelle"

"Babe!!!, Heard you're back in New York; why didn't you tell me?" She said.

"I wanted to make it a surprise visit but now it's no longer a surprise" I replied with a smile.

"Awwwn!! That's so sweet of you"

"Where are you?" I asked.

"I am currently in Australia and I am the model for a new skin care product" she replied.

"So when will you be back?" I asked again

"I'll be back in two days time and I can't wait to see you; I've missed you so much" she replied and I smiled.

"Me too"

"I Love you!!!"

"Love you too" I replied and ended the call. Michelle is my girlfriend and I love her so much.

The door opened and Tom walked in.

"Why are you smiling bro?" He asked.

"Let me guess, Michelle just called you" he said.

"You're a wizard, how did you know?"

"I am your twin so what do you expect" he replied and I rolled my eyes.

"Mr Dave wants to see us tomorrow morning" he said.

Mr Dave is our manager.

"Why does he wanna see us?" I asked.

"To welcome us and to discuss about the new album we're gonna drop"

"Alright" I replied.

Tom's phone ringed and sighed loudly.

"It's Clara" he said and faced me.

Clara is one of the top female musicians in Mexico. We met her when we were performing at a big concert in Mexico.

She has a huge crush on Tom

"Pick the call" I said and he picked the call.

"Hi Clara" he said and they chatted for a while before he ended the call.

"She just called to ask if we've gotten back to New York" he said and I nodded.

His phone ringed again and he groaned. He checked the caller and he sighed.

"It's Nora calling" he said and dropped the phone on the bed.

Nora is one of the best female musicians here in New York.

The phone ringed for the second time and he answered the call.

They chatted for a while and he ended call.

His phone ringed again and he ruffled his hair in frustration.

"These girls have been calling me ever since we returned" he said in frustration and I chuckled.

"That's what you get when you flirt with every lady" I said and he pulled his phone on airplane mode.

"Drille just posted, guess what he said"

"I don't have time for that loser"

Drille is also a musician in New York and he's our rival

"He said he's working on a new hit song and it's gonna be a blast so we should watch out"

"That guy is always a loser, he buys songs everytime. No matter what song he drops, we'll still remain the top one"

"Yeah coz we're the Diamonds" Tom said and we did our bro signature.

"Let's go to the studio and work on our new songs" he said.

"Alright bro" I replied and we walked out.
