C9 Chapter 9

9I was ready and nervous well, mostly nervous for my date with Scott. Oh god, I'm really nervous. Why are you nervous? Its not like it's you he's taking a date on. Its Emily, Emily Patson. my annoying subconscious said which brought a frown to my face. Now, am really jealous of Emily. I was wearing a one hand red dress that swept the floor which had sequin wrapped around the waist line like a belt and I straightened my br- fake brunette hair. Seriously, your also cutting me off when am describing myself?. Ugh, I straightened my 'fake' brunette hair put on a wing eyeliner and light eye shadow with a dashing red matte lipstick and I had on some black heels. I looked at myself one more time in the mirror and smiled, satisfied with my appearance. I put on my lenses and checked my phone, it was already seven pm on the dot and immediately a horn honked. I checked through my window and saw it was Scott. I went downstairs and met Scott and damn, this boy was too too hot. He had gelled his hair back and had on a black Armani suit with a Rolex watch and a red rose at the breast pocket.

"Wow. You look...Wow. You look amazing." He said which made me turn red.

"Thank you. You don't look too bad yourself." I complimented him which made his face to turn to a smirk.

"I don't look too bad. I look devilishly handsome." He said and I rolled my eyes. Still got that big ego.

"Hey, what about uhm.. Mi-Emilia?" He asked cutting me off guard.

"Emilia. Uhm... well, you see she went out for job hunting and hasn't come back yet. Yeah, she hasn't come back yet." I lied smoothly. He nodded his head in understanding.

"Uhm okay. Let's go" he said and opened the car door for me. He also entered and then we left to the restaurant and damn, this was one of the most expensive restaurants I have ever seen in my entire life. We entered into the restaurant and was welcomed with gasps. Don't know wh- oh yeah, Scott's like a business celebrity and so this is the first time they're seeing him coming out with a woman publicly in a restaurant.

"Reservation for two under Ryder." Scott said.

"Yes, yes sir, this way." The waiter directed us to our seat. We ordered our foods and talked about random things but then what I really wanted to know was if he still loved me. Emilia.

"So Scott, I wanna ask you a question but please don't get angry okay?" I told him.

"Yeah, sure. What's the question?"

"Promise?"

"Promise now, what's the question? He asked.

"Why did you bring me on this date? I mean if you still love Emilia, why not her? Why me?. You said so yourself that you only liked me as a friend because you still loved Emilia so I don't get it. Why did you bring me on this date?" I asked.

"Because I want to move on. I want to try and love again and I want to do it with you so Emily, would you be my girlfriend?" he asked with a smile that didn't quite reach his eyes. He wants to move on from me- Emilia. He wants to move on. Now, I really hate me-Emily. Because of her, he wants to move on. I held myself so I won't burst into tears and nodded my head with a smile that also didn't reach my eyes. I hope he won't fall in love with Emily.

"Yes, I'll love to be your girlfriend Scott." I told him which made him grin cutely and I also smiled. We finished our dinner and Scott drove me home. He escorted me to my doorstep.

"I had a wonderful time Scott. Thank you." I told him with a little smile. I felt sad and hurt. I just wanted to go in and cry myself to sleep.

"Me too. I'll love to do this every time." He said and smiled.

"So.. How are we going to be acting at the company now, we're dating?" I asked.

"Like how a normal couple do which means" he came close to me "I can kiss you anytime I want like this" he whispered in my ear and smashed his lips on mine and it revived me back. Damn, I missed his lips so much. He retreated back and kissed me on my forehead.

"Goodnight Miley." He said which made me realize he had made a nickname for me.

"Goodnight Scott." I replied and smiled. He went back to his car and drove off and as for me, I went inside and cried myself to sleep.
