C59

When he heard the two words "kill," Su Fei didn't know what hit him, but he suddenly raised his head, opened his eyes wide in panic: "I didn't kill anyone!"

Her face, which had once been delicate, was now drawn and haggard with shock. His body trembled uncontrollably, and even his voice could not help but tremble.

"You didn't kill him?" When he heard the other party reject his words, Xi Jin Cheng raised his eyebrows slightly and carefully examined his words, "At that time on the deck, was there anyone else other than you and Ye An Ran?"

With her words drawn out, a few scattered images flashed past Su Fei's mind. She hugged her head and shouted out in pain: "It wasn't me, it was him!"

Standing on the bow of the ship, Su Fei faced Ye An Ran. In that moment, Su Fei made up her mind.

Her fluttering gaze swept across the woman's face, inadvertently revealing her emotions.

Perhaps that gaze had suddenly let Ye An Ran sense something, it was a kind of instinct from humans to sense danger. She immediately revealed a smile and ended the conversation: "We'll talk next time when we have time, Miss Su."

The last three words were so sarcastic, as if he was mocking her, saying that even if she was a famous young lady, she couldn't even be compared to a woman with such a good reputation.

Su Fei's eyes were immediately filled with resentment. Why would Ye An Ran look down on him, just because she cared about her?

If she died, would it be possible for her to disappear along with the sight of the man following her?

Her hands were clenched tightly as she stared at the woman's back as she turned around and left.

Other than them, no one else was on the deck of the empty ship. This was a perfect opportunity to push Ye An Ran into the sea.

Su Fei kept asking herself. Although she gave a definite answer in her heart, she couldn't move her body at all. Su Fei didn't even think about it.

To hate someone to the point of wanting to kill her, for her, this had never happened before.

Seeing that Ye An Ran had turned around and entered the corridor while he was still standing at his original position, Su Fei heaved a huge sigh of relief. Although she hated him, she had not reached that degree yet.

Just at this time, a figure suddenly rushed out from the shadows around the corner towards the hallway. She heard Ye An Ran groan, and then a dull "plop" sound came out.

As if she had realized something, she hastily rushed to the corridor ? at her previous blind spot, she realised that there was no one there, and not even Ye An Ran's shadow could be seen.

In the next second, Su Fei quickly looked towards the sea, her eyes quickly searching for something, and very quickly, she found the struggling Ye An Ran in the sea.

"Help!" Her voice was barely audible.

Just as he was about to scream for help, Su Fei suddenly froze in place, his heart beating so fast it felt like it was about to jump out of his chest.

In the distance, the deck was still bustling with noise, no one could hear Ye An Ran's shouts. "If we just let it go like this, won't we?"

Her grip on the railing revealed the tension and wavering in her heart. Watching the woman bobbing up and down in the sea, but clearly having insufficient strength, the fear in her heart continued to grow.

"Help!" Ye An Ran still had not given up, and was desperately searching for a way out.

Should he save her? The small drum in his heart was beating crazily. Suddenly, he heard the sound of rapid footsteps coming from behind his ears. He was scared and hurriedly hid behind the cabin.

She quietly watched the people who rushed over, but when she saw their faces, her heart sank. It was Xi Jin Cheng.

As she watched the man jump onto the hovercraft and untie the ropes to slowly put them down, she couldn't help but feel a sense of lingering fear. If he knew that she wasn't going to save him and Ye An Ran didn't help when he was drowning, wouldn't he blame himself?

The more she thought about it, the more terrifying it felt. She didn't dare to give it another glance and practically trotted back to her room. She sat on the bed and leaned against the wall, tightly wrapping herself in a blanket.

Right now, she didn't just hope for Ye An Ran to survive, or else she would become the killer who would indirectly cause her death.

Time passed minute after minute. It had clearly only been ten minutes, but it felt as if several centuries had passed. It was hard to hide the panic in her heart.

If the news of Ye An Ran's accident were to spread out, the ship would probably cause a huge commotion.

She waited quietly and fearfully like this until Xi Jin Cheng kicked the door open a few times and walked in slowly.

"Ye An Ran is dead." the man said to her.

In that moment, Su Fei's brain was suffocated, it was almost a complete blank, Su Fei opened her eyes wide, she could not believe that the woman was actually dead.

Without a trace of joy, Su Fei didn't know why she suddenly felt pain in her heart.

If Xi Jin Cheng knew the truth, he would probably hate himself, right? The woman he loved had been killed by him, and he would never forget this for the rest of his life.

She had thought of many things, beautiful, gorgeous, elegant.

Imagining which one would forever remain in Xi Jin Cheng's memories, allowed him to associate himself with that scene just by thinking about it.

However, she never expected that the situation would turn out like this. The man's aggressive attitude, and the anger in his eyes seemed to want to swallow her up.

He must hate himself, Su Fei thought in despair. As a result, she lowered her head and replied, "I don't know."

She did not know that the man above her was constantly scrutinizing her, trying to read every word she had said.

He purposely said that Ye An Ran was dead, so he could see her reaction.

Xi Jin Cheng was still not sure, so he casually set up a trap to see if Su Fei would crawl inside.

The woman's reaction when she heard Ye An Ran's death seemed to have made it clear to him. Her widened eyes revealed astonishment and an undetectable trace of regret.

It wasn't her doing, but it had something to do with her, too.

However, this little bit of information was not enough. He did not even know if there was anyone else on the deck, so he continued to press on.

Finally, when he heard the words "to kill, you have to pay with your life", Su Fei's tensed nerves could no longer control it, the intense emotions that followed the words gushed out: "I did not kill!"

Sure enough, there were others. Xi Jin Cheng's eyes flashed with a trace of light and he continued to ask.

She really couldn't take it anymore. Suddenly, her eyes turned red and tears began to uncontrollably flow out. They fell onto the blanket and stained a large area of it.

"It wasn't me, it was him!"

The dark figure hiding in the shadows around the corner had been there for who knows how long, listening to their conversation.

She heard the black figure push Ye An Ran into the sea, and when she rushed to the corridor and looked into the ocean, she had already fallen into the sea and was struggling non-stop.

Who else could it be?
