Butler Sam knew definitely with the look of things, bags and heavy luggages, Chloe visit was not ordinary and it will be a very bad one. He quickly stepped up to her.

"Lady Chloe, to what do we owe this pleasant but surprising visit?" Butler Sam tried to stop her and talk but Chloe totally ignored his presence and walked over to the alpha and bowed.

"I pay my homage to the alpha of the souls and flesh of the shadow kingdom!" Chloe said and alpha Dean smiled and signaled to her to stand.

Alexia wondered if that was how she was supposed to greet the alpha.

"Chloe, welcome, I can see you bearing a whole lot of present to the castle, what is the feast?" The alpha asked and Chloe looked back at the maid who were standing by her luggages and smiled.

"They are not gift, my lord, they are my luggages!" Chloe said and alpha Dean smiled. "Is Miss Chloe planning if moving out and stopped by to say hello to us?" Alpha dean said and Chloe smiled again.

"Alpha, you are so funny! No, I am here to stay, Alexander accepted to be my mate and we are engaged, he signed the contract with my father yesterday and said I could move in today!" Chloe said

Alpha dean was confused as he looked at Chloe smiling face and back to Alexia who was not even paying attention to them.

" Alexander signed a contract with your father?" Alpha dean exclaimed and Chloe nodded out of shock. Alpha dean again looked at Alexia, who was totally numb.

She didn't even think of the fact that the man they were mentioning at the time was the man she was arranged for.

"Get Alexander down at this moment! He has to answer to this right now!" Alpha dean said and butler Sam who was equally shocked immediately bowed and ran to get the first young master, Alexander Scott.

"Chloe looked at her side and saw Alexia standing there, not looking her way. Chloe became curious as to who the unfamiliar face was but she kept her curiosity to herself.

They all waited for about five minutes before they heard the wheelchair rolling over.

Everyone became alerted and looked at the direction the wheels was coming from.

Alexia was the first to see the man and immediately she felt jelly. She was sorry so the man immediately.

She knew at the moment that the man will be her husband but seeing such an handsome face on a wheelchair, she felt sorry for him.

"uncle, you sent for me!" Alexander said and alpha Dean nodded and looked at the two ladies.

"can you explain what is going on here to me?" Alpha dean said and Alexander looked so innocent. "what do you mean uncle Sam?" Alexander asked and alpha Dean was pissed off.

"what contract did you get in with Chloe's father after knowing fully that I signed a contract for you to get married to the daughter of the alpha of the storm clan, tell me, what are you thinking?" He asked and Alexander raised his face and for the first time looked at Alexia.

Alexia was still trying her best to arrange the puzzle and realized that she was matched to the prince by the prince uncle. What sort of arrangement is that?

"ohh, about that, uncle, I should have informed you earlier but it's all good now, I rejected the mate you choose for me!" Alexander said and looked at Alexia again.

"What is your name?" He asked and Alexia who was confused could only stammer and voice out her name.

"Alexia Rodriguez!" She said and Alexander looked back at his uncle.

"Uncle, I, Alexander scott, hereby reject this mate, Alexia Rodriguez! I choose Chloe, and I will stand by my choice!" Alexander said boldly and alpha Dean was pissed off.

"I don't know what you have to say but Alexia is staying here, so figure this out!" Alpha dean said and walked away immediately.

Alexander looked at Alexia immediately.

" I reject you!" He said boldly and rode his wheelchair away.

Alexia stood there rooted to the ground, everything happened so fast that she wondered what had just happened within a day.

At the first instance, she was tricked into be a substitute bride for her step sister and she was arranged to marry a cripple prince only for her to get here and be rejected by the prince himself.

Embarrassed by having another mate right in front of her, she was rejected by a cripple!

What a disgrace!!

And now, she can't be sent back home? She doesn't have the right to still leave? Is this a joke? Is her life a joke to them?

Chloe laughed and walked over to Alexia who was just standing there with tears streaming down her face.

"You should better get your things and leave. He doesn't want you, don't try to push yourself on him, it's not good for you," Chloe said and Alexia looked up at her.

Every inch of Alexia body feels the urge to hold Chloe and slap her in the face.

"who do you think I am, old lady? Do you think I am a young girl who is interested in getting married now? Do you think I want to be here and fight with you over a man.

Do you think I am happy to be here, I would have been happier if I was rejected and sent back, so don't say anything because you don't know anything about me or what is going on right here?" Alexia said and Chloe was shocked.

"you don't want him because he is cripple!" Chloe said and Alexia chuckled.

"and I can see you want him because he is disabled! I don't want him! Cripple or not! I don't want to get married to him!" Alexia yelled and the next voice she heard was the butlers voice.

"lady Alexia! The first young master requests your presence!" He said and Alexia looked back and followed with saying a word. The butler lead her to the front of door and told her to go in.

Alexia knocked twice and heard a come in.

She opened the door and walked in without thinking twice.

"you sent for me!" Alexia said and looked up only to see an empty study with a fresh scent of tobacco.

She was confused but before she could thinking, she felt the breeze was hard and the next moment, she was pinned to the war by a man.

Alexia was still questioning the situation when Alexander talked. "Crippled man, right?" He asked and Alexiawas speechless.
