C6 Chapter 5

"Stacey! In 2 minutes we have to be in the set." Bella said.

"Bella? Do I need to be in these?" her voice is uncertain as she eyes her skimpy wear.

She is in a white mini-dress which hugs her body like a glove. She looks very sexy and her silver strappy heels compliment her dress. But she is not confident because she is not used to wearing such clothes. She is worried that her bikini can be seen once she sits on the chair. That's how short her dress is.

Her hair was curled and it touches her shoulders. Her face was lightly done. The photographer said that the camera loves her so she doesn't need heavy make-up. She is lovely in person but she is lovelier in pictures and videos.

"I don't want people to see my underwear." She said while she crinkled her forehead.

" You have to look alluring and ravishing. Just always cross your legs properly so they won't see anything. And remember the answers to the questions which I taught you. You can't tell the truth about you. Men find women with a lot of sexual experiences more attractive. And since this is a men's magazine interview, your answers should be suggestive to hold the interest of the subscribers. Besides, no one would believe that you never had a boyfriend. You are too pretty!" Bella said.

She pouted but she nodded her head. She has to stop thinking that her boss Tyler will have the magazine and will see her interview and photos as Miss June. Every issue has a cd of the interview. She has to keep in mind that she is just projecting a sexy image and she is not like this in real life. And Bella said that the female models of Not Eye Candy are mostly just ordinary women. She will just think that her photos were taken candidly while she was at the beach and was wearing a swimsuit.

"You are really beautiful and sexy Miss Pretty! You are more beautiful compared to other models and actresses on tv!" Amy complimented her.

"That's why your sister Heather is so bad to you because you are lovelier than her. She is jealous of you!" she added.

"Amy, please don't every say that again especially when we are at the house. I don't want Heather to hear that because that could cause more trouble between us." She reprimanded their help but still in a low voice.

Amy just nodded and made a motion with her thumb and forefinger in front of her mouth as if zipping her lips which made Stacey let out a sigh.

Then they heard knocks. That's the signal that she should go out of the dressing room. The interview will start.

She took one last look at her reflection and bit her bottom lip.

This is so not me! Gosh! Sometimes the things I do for my family are too much! She told herself with a heavier sigh. ***

"There she is mate! Dang!! " Billy whistled quietly when he saw Stacey.He looked at his friend and was quite puzzled with what he saw. Nick's lips are a thin line and his brows are creased. He has a very strange expression on his handsome face. "Mate? Don't you think that she's soooo hot??! " He asked him in a voice that only the two of them could hear.

Nick just continued to stare at Stacey. He didn't answer his question. He can't understand why he seems to be fuming inside, knowing that the gold digger posed for a men's magazine.

I should not feel this way! She is not even worth my time! He angrily thought.

Contrary to what he is telling himself, he can't seem to stop staring at her. He can't even wait to listen to what she has to say during the interview. He has no plan of leaving the studio without watching her. ***

Bella introduced her first to the editor who is also one of the big bosses of the magazine, then to the male host and the female director. She was instructed to sit down after all the introductions.

She became more nervous when she was told that the face of the host will not be shown on the video. The camera will be focused on her for more or less 10 minutes.

"Relax. You look gorgeous on cam." Whispered Bella before she left the stage.

Leo, the male host took his seat too. He sat opposite her.

The female director came to her to say, "Try to act naturally. Just imagine that it's just you and the interviewer in this room. And as much as possible, look seductive all throughout the interview. Give us your sexiest smile. Think that you are talking to a man that you find very sexy and you want to seduce him. You look stunning Stacey, so relax okay? Take a deep breath!" the director suggested.

All of a sudden, images of Mr. Grouchy, the man who took Heather home last night, entered her mind. She remembered how sexy and extremely good-looking he is.

She just nodded at the director and rubbed her palms together because they feel clammy though the room is a little chilly. She made sure that she properly crossed her legs. She inhaled and exhaled and started to think about beautiful things and a tall hot male with stubble.

"Roll the camera in 30 seconds!" the director said in a little loud voice.

She tried to adjust her eyes to the glare of the lights. The one which is focused on her is too bright. She can't see beyond the cameraman who is in front of the stage.

"Ready?" Leo asked her with a smile. He is a pleasant looking man who is maybe in his 40s.

She let out a sigh then smiled back. She knows that he is trying to make her feel comfortable.

His smile became a grin before he leaned forward to her.

" I'll let you in on a secret. You are the most beautiful calendar girl I have interviewed. So be confident." He said then straightened on his seat again.

She said thank you in a shy voice. It doesn't matter to her if he was sincere or just said that to make her feel at ease. What's important is she became less tense. He nodded at her while still grinning.

Nick cursed under his breath which made Billy looked at him.

He doesn't like what he is seeing on the stage. That gold digger is flirting with the interviewer. He's not aware that he is clenching his fists .

"Ready in 3..2..1..Roll!" The director hollered.

Leo introduced her by saying her name and the type of job she has. It's a good thing that he didn't mention what company she works for which made her almost let out a sigh of relief. They had a small talk first so she will feel more comfortable which actually worked. She felt more relaxed as he asked her about her hobbies, favorite food, color, etc, Though she knows that he is just preparing her for the hard-core questions, she sounded more at ease while she answered him.

Though Bella repeatedly told her a while ago to say the answers she taught her, she now decided to say her own. Bella's are too over the top for her. As long as she won't mention that she is still a virgin, and she never had a boyfriend, she feels that the interview will go well.

"Stacey when did you lose your virginity?" Leo asked.

She let out a light laugh.

" I was old enough.." she said as she looks at the camera .

"She looks hotter on video." Billy whispered to Nick

There is a monitor in front of the director and they are behind her so they could see Stacey's lovely face clearly. Once in a while, the camera shows a full body shot of her. Whenever Nick sees her exposed legs on the screen, he can't help gritting his teeth. He thinks that her dress is way too short. It's not even decent. But he has to admit that she carries it well. She wears it with class but he doesn't like her in such a very short dress and slinky wear.

"How many boyfriends have you had?"

"I haven't been in a serious relationship." she said.

"Why? "

"Maybe I haven't found the right man yet." she said huskily. The face of Mr. Grouchy entered her mind again.

"Well, I am sure a lot of men out there are happy to hear that. They still have a chance."

Nick isn't even aware that he is holding his breath.

So she considers her relationships with different men flings? That's just bull!! He told himself.

"Do you ever sleep naked?"

She flashed a very seductive smile." It depends."

"Depends on what?"

She sexily looked at the camera as she thinks of Mr. Grouchy's very attractive features again.

"I sleep naked when I feel hot and... wet...." she said before nibbling her lower lip, "... wet with sweat like when it's summer and the air conditioner is defective." She added which caused Leo to chuckle.

The director let out a smile.

She witnessed now that Stacey is witty and she likes her. She is gorgeous, sexy and smart. Any man will want her.

Billy nudged Nick with his elbow. "She's great mate!" he said but Nick remained expressionless.

"Are you into oral sex?"

She sighed." I don't want to say I am into it. Let's put it this way. I am willing to do anything to give pleasure to my man." She said seriously. (That answer came from her heart. She will do that for love.)

Nick felt his d*ck reacted to what she said.

"Dang! She is awesome!" Billy muttered under his breath.

"You did great Stacey!" The director shook her hand.

Even Leo and the editor commended her. They tried very hard to convince her to pursue a career in modeling but she politely told them no. Even Bella did her best to persuade her to be one of their models but she refused.

When Stacey got inside her car, she congratulated herself for doing such a great job. But she felt so drained after trying to pretend to be something and someone she's not. She realized that she can't be an actress because it was very difficult for her to act during the interview, It almost triggered her migraine. She is not only physically tired. She is also mentally exhausted.

She can't wait to get home. She just wants to forget what happened in the studio. After today, she is aware that her life will never be the same. A lot of changes will happen. But that's fine with her. She had to do it. Heather is still her sister though she never treats her as one. She can't let her go to jail.

She chewed the inside of her cheek and took a mental note to thank Mr. Grouchy if she sees him again. Her seductive side came out because of him. She can't help smiling when his images flash in her mind. She can't deny the fact that she is attracted to him . But she feels that he will never be her man because he doesn't even like her. He looked at her with disgust when he first laid eyes on her. Maybe that is one of the reasons why she can't seem to forget him. He is different from other men. He obviously doesn't find her attractive. ***

Nick is in his bedroom staring at his laptop. He was planning to reply to some of his emails but he hadn't done anything else but to look at the screen for God knows how long. He couldn't seem to focus after leaving the studio with Billy hours ago. He finally took his cellphone.

"Jim? Set an appointment with Con Ad the day after tomorrow. I want to talk to the graphic designer face to face." He told his assistant who is also his friend.

He has the sudden urge to see the gold digger again.
